I made a reservation via telephone, asked if the Resort Fee was included, and was told that everything was included. Then I called the hotel directly, and the hotel told me that this was not true, when I called them back they told me that I had to pay the Resort fee and that they were not going to give me the money back or assume that cost.

I booked with this company and never received the service so had to pay again at the hotel. Now I am doing back and forth with them to get my credit. Oh and they lied on the phone as well about the price of the room, they charged me $94 over the original price of the room. Here is why not to use them.

I was overcharged by 50 percent 2 nights should have cost 306.00 and I was charged 758.00. If you think canceling would have helped, I would never have got my money back. Even the hotel said I was overcharged. Call locally to the hotel you want. Check out other reviews it gets worse.

I never heard of reservation stays. I only recognized the name after they somehow intercepted my call to the hotel where I am performing a wedding. They told me I had no reservation and the hotel was mostly booked. I was told I could get a room but I had better book now and could cancel later. I booked and now can't reach anyone to cancel. The hotel told me that I was booked by some third party at this exorbitant rate. I have called my credit card to identify this issue. Apparently I can't dispute the charge until I am billed for it. I thought I was calling the hotel. It wasn't the hotel. Now when I call to call, I get put in a que and have to wait for hours or get other run around. BEWARE I AM STILL WAITING.

Biggest scam ever! I scheduled a reservation almost 1 month in advance for a fishing trip. The captain notifies me that we had to reschedule for next week due to bad weather. I contacted "reservation stays to change date due to upcoming bad weather. They said that it was against their policy. They refused to change dates or give a refund! I just lost $600

Rocelle replied to my complaint by denying refund of a payment made to attend a conference at Capthorn Hotel in London UK. The cause of the delay was the late departure of Delta Airlines due to safety reasons. The hotel receipt specifically states that I did not stay for the first day of my planned itinerary. Rocelle blames Copthorne Hotel for not granting the refund. However the Copthorne Hotel/ London website routes all bookings through Reservation Stays. This points to a direct fiduciary relationship between Reservation Stays and Copthorne Hotel, clealry designed to impede refunds in circumstances such as this. I filed a complaint with VISA.
Booked a room through reservation stays for my son. The hotel never received the notification and he was refused. They took my money and have never responded. I called them 18 times the night of the booking and each time my call was cut off. Don't touch these people! Crooks!
Horrible customer service. If you call you can expect a hold time of up to 2 and a half hours, never under 90 mins. Loud, fast talking and broken English - they do not listen to your needs or concerns. I added one additional night to a stay we had booked for 3 nights, it went through this 3rd party service... never gave me the price until I asked near the end of the conversation and the response was $458! I said no, I am not comfortable with that and the representative told me it was too late the charge already went through. I could cancel the reservation but refunds were not allowed. I had not even ended the call. I have been working on a refund for 3 months with no resolution. Received an email stating if I were to get written authorization from the property from upper management to okay the refund they would grant it - sent that directly from the property and no response for over a month. TERRIBLE experience and they are giving a very reputable hotel chain a bad name.

This reservation booking 3rd party business is the worst. Do not use them ever. They booked the wrong hotel and before refunding my money I had to go to the wrong hotel and request documentation that I didn't stay there. I also had to provide my hotel invoice that I had to pay for at the correct hotel. Takes hours to get through to them and the booking agents have poor English. What a nightmare I still don't have a refund from them. Never will use them again. Horrible service. I asked for their address and they said they are off shore. What a horrible business.
Never stayed at the hotel as it was disgusting! It was a last min booking. They said they would refund with proof from the hotel we didn't stay there. Sent that to them and they went ghost.
