Reservations.com is a SCAM! Charged my credit card and no reservation found! No one is helpful and won't refund money! Over 600.00 dollars! They say they have no record! BS! If anyone has found a resolution to their problem with them please let me know!
This site is a RIP OFF! First of all, you think that you are on the official site of the hotel you are trying to book. Very deceptive!
Secondly, they lie! Told me reservation was available for cancellation and it was NOT! Told me one thing, put something different in email and informed actual hotel of something different as well specific to their cancellation policy. I was totally ripped off for $270 for a 2 night stay that did not occur.
I googled a hotel and was taken directly to this site. I made a reservation that was a day off from what I needed due to their misleading calendar. Customer service was awful. They are not helpful at all. I immediately called my Visa credit card and disputed the charge. They are a sketchy outfit. My story is the same as all of the other reviews. Stay away!
Horrible customer service, I cried on the phone with them. They're awful - policies are horrific. I will NEVER use this site again and will stop anyone I know from ever booking through you again. You should feel ashamed.
Reservations.com are imposters. They pretend to be the hotel directly and charge you 30% more in fees than the hotel itself. When you try to cancel they said you will not be refunded at all. They are scam and a thief! I am planning to do a lawsuit if anyone is interested on joining please let me know. I might not be able to win if I do it alone but if we all stick together we might have a case.
I hate checking in to a hotel after arriving in a city only to find out it's fully booked. I've tried that before and never again! I'm really glad that sites like Reservations.com is now available. You get to book your hotel ahead so check-in is a lot smoother and quicker!
I booked a small trip through these people so my husband and I could have a small get away vacation. We maybe get to see each other one day a week if we are lucky because of our work schedules. The same day I reserved and PAID for the few nights stay at the hotel they called me saying their website could not reserve the room because it was unavailable for those days. I told them just to cancel and refund my money. My husband called the hotel directly and guess what. The room I reserved through reservations.com WAS available and CHEAPER. They also had no confirmation for what I had reserved on this website. My money has yet to be refunded back into my account days later. I will NEVER book any trip or hotel through this website again. If I could give them negative stars I would. Scam Scam Scam!
Paid for 2 rooms in Tahoe; when arrived, only had reservations for 1 room; had to pay for the other room again and am on my 4th phone call to get reimbursed for the full amount paid! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Stay clear of Reservations.com
Not only did I pay the $14.99 for their service, their room rate and taxes charges were $40 higher than what my hotel receipt said. Their reply, "Oh, but we got the best rate we could...". And I say B. S. Don't use this company!
I booked a reservation for a hotel in New York and had some changes to be made, I emailed support, with in minutes got response back with resolution of my change request. Very happy with the quick service.
Update- after a bit of back and forth with the company. They refunded my service fee.
I made a reservation with reservations.com and was charged a service fee thinking it would all be refundable if I cancelled. Unfortunately there is a service fee of 21 dollars. The company did not refund that. In addition the rate was 303 dollars per night but when the reservation was made the total was 404 dollars. Be very careful if you work with this company.
I had a reservation for 4 nights and wanted to change it to 3 nights. Reservations.com claimed that my reservation was nonrefundable and a modification would happen with a penalty of 1 night plus taxes and service fee. Reservations.com claimed the penalty was the hotel's policy. HOWEVER, I had already talked to the hotel and they had no problem with the modification and did not mention a penalty.
I spoke to 4 different people on 2 separate occasions, asking to talk to a manager or higher. My call was just routed back into the queue. Eventually, the 4th rep hung up on me. Filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau (one of over 1,600 against reservations.com).
Do not use this reservation service ever! MY REGRET!
Had to cancel a Rez 40 days in advance and got charged $113. Customer Service no help. Booking and Expedia have a normal policy of a few days in advance of check-in. Why would anyone ever use this scam service? My big mistake misreading who I was using.
I can only blame for myself. When I looked up a hotel to make a reservation their phone number popped up on the website. I called without realizing that I did not call the actual hotel. The representative was helpful and I booked a room for me. Their conformation email is set up in a way that you click on tab which will get you a $19.99 refund. This however means that your reservation is non-refundable. BTW, the actual hotel offered me a better rate but I had to stick with them.

They present their site to make you think you are booking directly with the hotel. Suggest that you can get a refund except for the non-refundable $19.00 fee. They are lying. They will never give you a refund, even if requested within a few minutes of the original reservation. As soon as I determined I was not booking directly with the property.
Don't use this site:
1. They add an extra $14 fee to book.
2. They charge your credit card immediately.
3. They have a no refund policy even for a room booked over a week in advance. However, they don't warn you of this when you cancel (as in a popup)
As a business traveller with lots of experience, I have NEVER had a problem with hotel cancellation up to 24 hours in advance.
I then went to bookings.com: no fee, no charge until actually checking in.
Reservations.com is a scam. They come up in top google search when you key in hotel names. At time of reservation, they claim you get your full refund when cancellation is done before a certain time. When cancellation needs to be done, I found out that there is a non-refundable service fee of $14.99. I tried to make several calls to them at *******090 but never got the issue resolved.
Site came up when I thought I was making reservation direct with Hotel.
On morning of my trip my meetings were canceled, so I went back online to cancel hotel. I was informed that I had contacted them past their deadline so they could not cancel my reservation. Instead of me forfeiting the cost of that nights reservation, they refused to cancel the entire 4 day reservation and are charging me the entire cost of the reservation. This has been turned over to American Express as a disputed charge, so hopefully I can get some relief. My advice to anyone is to avoid third party sites and make reservations directly with hotel. It turns out, I could have gotten a better rate by calling the hotel reservation line direct anyway.
Do not use this company. Book your reservations thru the hotel. I booked my reservation 9 months out to get a room for a convention. I asked if they would run my card and was told no. Three days later they run my card to the tune of 2800. 00. Why would I let them use my money for 9 months. I'm was told it will take 7-10 business day to clear it up. Jacob told me would cancel my reservation. I called back an hour later it still was In the system as an active reservation. Since I don't keep that much money in my account. I accrued 200.00 in late fees. They will not reimburse you for that and pretty don't care. I should have know better when I booked my reservation in Nashville that the individual I spoke with didn't have a southern drawl
You are paying a Service Charge to Reservations.com and Benjamin & Brothers LLC for nothing and once charged it will never be refunded. Wish I could report this scam to all comsumers... true rating is -10.
