I had an awful experience with a water delivery service. I waited for three Wednesdays, but my delivery never came. The customer service was unhelpful and gave conflicting information, making matters worse. I'll be looking for a different provider due to this disappointing experience.
I signed up for water service in August of 2016. They delivered water on the scheduled delivery date about 10% of the time. Not an exaggeration! Customer service was a joke. They often offered me a $5 credit on my next deliver but I could never get water delivered. Sometimes they were a month and a half out. I cancelled my service in September 2017 and had the audacity of charging me a pick up fee. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge. DO NOT USE THEM!
This after more than three months of repeated attempts to cancel account including two written confirmations of cancellation from ReadyRefresh! Now they're showing up on a national holiday and literally blocking the entrance to my childcare center. GO AWAY!
Have dealt with this company a few years, and absolutely horrible delivery service and customer care. Have had to deal with constant delivery day changes, that change almost every time. Impossible to get anyone in customer service, as they have so many complaint calls, they don't even take calls. Canceled service, and same thing happened with them picking up their dispenser equipment. They said they would pick it up on 2/20/22, but that didn't happen, and a few other dates that didn't happen. They finally picked up their equipment In March! Company is going down in flames I'm sure.
This is the second time in three months that the delivery person did not follow the instructions and left empty bottles and charge me a deposit. Water delivery was due on August 18 from 12.45 pm to 4.54.pm but at 5 pm the delivery date was changed to Monday, August 22. And then at 6.45 pm, I received a text that your order has been delivered. I mean who was in charge of sending text messages? The office person or a delivery person? It is very unprofessional. No one is following the delivery instructions yet charged me through my auto payment. I need only three 5-gallon bottles and due to their unprofessionalism, I have now 9 bottles in my house and $90 with ready refresh as a deposit. Insane
I want to give 0 star if I could. They marked my order as delivered and said they picked up empty bottles which they didn't. When I called them they said they don't have delivery date available until after 1 month even though it was their mistake.
Ready Refresh has ZERO customer service. It's non-existent. I have been trying for months now to get anyone within Ready Refresh to update my credit card. No longer needed though as I will NEVER use their service again. Trying to adjust orders or update simple credit card information is impossible. I tried escalating within Ready Refresh and they confirmed themselves it was escalated and said someone would call which never happened. I emailed again and still no one has called. Honestly, never seen such terrible customer service!
I received my first order with the wrong merchandise. I texted. They don't accept answers to their texts. I emailed multiple times. No response. No correction. Once they have your credit card god help you. I called multiple times. Tonight I got a human and cancelled. I explained again my order had been wrong. No apologies at all. After the call I received a message the order was changed to a different delivery date. They are a nightmare. Do not under any circumstances do business with them. It's going to take threat of legal action to be removed from their list I guess.
This service is abysmal. I'm not talking about the delivery guys, they're great. I'm talking about the complete inability to speak to a live person, the unexplained price hikes, the dysfunctional website.
The problem is they have a monopoly in my area. Endless source of frustration and nothing the consumer can do.
I have the worst experience with them. They scheduled delivery on Friday, and they rescheduled it without asking for Monday. I was 4 days without water. On Monday I got message it is delivered but it's not, apparently they have idiots in the company who delivered water who know where. I tried to call customer service but it says "high volume of call" which means they don't have enough stuff because they are cheap. Find some other, better company!
Ready fresh took over for my original delivery from Zephyrhills waters. I was receiving my deliveries for 16 years now and ever since ready fresh took over it has been horrendous. For example yesterday my delivery was marked delivered even though they never came and I called customer service after a 25 minute wait and let them know that my empties are still sitting here and it was never delivered and must have been delivered to a house with a similar address which has happened before. They will not go pick up the order nor will they deliver to me until the next business day so the other people get to keep free water. This has happened before and it's getting to be ridiculous. They won't even attempt to contact the driver to let him or her know their error. If I continue to write about all the negative things that have happened since ready fresh take over I will write a book.
How is that essentially a delivery service finds it acceptable to continually reschedule their delivery *every single time*? When I need my water delivered, I need it delivered on the day that I specify. It is not acceptable to give me a "Delivery Rescheduled for..." day after day until you find a day that works for your delivery drivers. This is a great service for people who really don't care if they get their water delivered in a timely fashion or not.
They consistently do not show up on the date they say they're going to come and several times they've said they delivered water which they never delivered. They are very difficult to work with and take a long time to respond. I recommend that you not do business with them and I wish I read the reviews before I did business with them. I got sucked into their scam on a promo through Costco thinking they were legitimate business. They also try to sell their services through Sams Club. Don't be fooled by the great Temporary deal they will offer you; you will regret it.
I had a horrible experience from this company. They sent me the damaged dispenser and never took it back or exchanged. They kept on changing the delivery dates and price for the water. They are scammers do not do any business with them.
Terrible company. I signed up for a delivery every other month. They would charge and attempt to deliver monthly. I kept having to call Customer Service but the problem continued month after month. When I tried to cancel my service, they invoiced me for a delivery they never made and then turned the invoice over to a collections agency. I would never do business with this company again.
Water has gone up several dollars a bottle. Delivery fees have gone way up. Rental for cooler has increased from $2 to $5 in one year. I am literally paying twice what I was a year ago. What is with this company?
To add insult to injury, the cooler stopped working, and they wanted to charge me to replace it, and it would take 2 weeks. This is just crazy.
I received a letter from them today. So now the customer has to pay for you giving away free water to every tom $#*! and Harry. No way. My service has been cancelled. I had you for 7 yrs. But you don't care you'll get a new customer to replace me. Your company could care less about the customer. Don't bother getting this service you can get it cheaper at the store.
Can only speak to service people in India, never come when scheduled and then they send you to collections! Worst ever, am calling the Better Business Bureau. If you want to cancel they make it near impossible for you.
We've been dealing with ReadyRefresh in the last 2 yrs to deliver three 5-gallon bottles once a month. In the beginning, a few times, they told us (a day or two before the scheduled delivery) that they would have to reschedule. However, it's getting increasingly frustrating because they have recently been doing this every time. Even worse, they emailed us again several times to reschedule the already "rescheduled delivery"! We're done with this company.
* Delivery schedule is extremely hard to manage, when i receive the notification of email / text, it is already finalized
* Late fee is insane. I call many times asking for refund. Their payment system sucks, and I never receive any notification if the payment fails. They just want to steal money from you.

Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
