The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by persistent customer complaints regarding service reliability, delivery issues, and ineffective customer support. Many customers report missed or incomplete deliveries, billing errors, and difficulties in canceling services. While there are occasional mentions of satisfactory product quality, these are overshadowed by widespread dissatisfaction with the company's responsiveness and communication. The recurring themes highlight a lack of accountability and transparency, leading to a general sentiment of frustration and distrust among customers. This suggests a pressing need for the company to enhance its service protocols and customer engagement strategies.

So they emailed me after raising their delivery charges to let me know they are no longer delivering to my area. Since then four times including today 1/10/2022 I have seen their trucks delivering to RESIDENTIAL addresses. I don't have the slightest idea why they are still in business if so many people are dissatisfied.
UPDATE:
They are still delivering in my area and catch them on my cameras often. They are not taking any new customers (so they say). Amazon delivers water and it's free (for now) so why would I go back to these guys! Done with Not-So-Ready Refresh!
I have had the service for a little less than one year. Since the start, I have had them cancel deliveries and reschedule deliveries. I have emailed several times and called. The last straw was this week. Water set to come on 1/6, confirmed. Then a text saying it will be delivered on 1/7. Then another reschedule for 1/10. I called on 1/9 to make sure that it will in fact arrive on 1/10... rep says "yes" and apologized for the delay. This morning, I woke to a text saying it will arrive 1/11. Will be canceling.
They charge you for even calling them. You never get revert from them. I will promise you something and never deliver. On call they will promise you no charges for replacement, services and other things, but at the end the moment that phone is down, you will see all the charges. You are on auto pay and still they will charge you a late fee, saying no payment was received. After a request to reverse the late fee, you will never ever see a revert from them. For every thing they will charge you. There deliveries are never ever in time. The date given by them the product will be delivered is never the same day. No calls, no messages, nothing. We have to guess it.
Im so very unhappy with them, had to discontinue there services.

I am a disabled senior I only have limited use of one arm my delivery instructions say please put in hallway today again my order 4 5gal bottles was left outside the escalation manager Tara was nasty and argumentative told me I should make other arrangements instead of helping correct the problem I have 2 totally disabled people we need water but won't get any until Friday meanwhile my water is sitting outside I have no help Tara was a horrible person horrible I guess I will do what Tara said and look for another company Tara needs to be trained on how to talk to customers
They delivered 2 boxes less than what I paid for. Their customer phone line don't take any calls but directed you to to do an internet request submission which would take 5 to 7 business days for them to respond. After 7 days they autogenerated a reply indicating the amount delivered with no reconciliation action. If you notice this pattern of delaying tactics and possibly deceitful behaviour, please post here.
I rented a cooler for years, paying $12/month for a $100 cooler, ultimately paying well over $500 for the cooler. When I decided to buy my own and I returned the rented one, they charged me $50 for a "cleaning charge", implying they would clean it and send it back out (they were likely going to throw it away). There was never any mention of this "cleaning" charge in any of the paperwork when I signed up and they charged me without any notification. I tried to contact them to refute the charge but no one is available by phone or E-mail. I challenged the charge via the credit card and they couldn't get a response either so the credit card credited me the $50. I see that Ready Refresh charged me again so we are now in to round 2.
Horrible company. Don't give them your credit card or you will never shake them!
I'm not sure they'll ever stop billing me. You can't remove your credit card info from their website. Everything was fine as long as the service was ongoing but as soon as there was a problem (leaking dispenser) things went downhill quickly. Or I should say slowly. It took months to get a response. Finally I tell them to cancel and take it out. They keep billing me for the service and the deliveries that I'm not getting. You can't get through on their phone line. Every email response takes a week or more and is unhelpful. You'd think when you rent a machine they would maintain it. You would be wrong. I'm charged $50 to refurbish it.
Save yourself a lot of frustration. Stay away from these guys.
Cannot reach them by phone to cancel. Sent message request and handwritten letter canceling account and they said that I need to talk to customer service. Meanwhile I can't reach customer service, their phone number refers you to send a message on the website. This leaves NO way to cancel. This company should be sued.
First delivery with this company was OK, but I found the 5 gallon bottles were too heavy to lift onto the dispenser. So I changed my order to receive 3 gallon bottles. I happened to be home when the driver delivered them, and he left the wrong bottles. He left the 5 gallon bottles. I told him I ordered 3 gallon bottles. So he took the 5 gallon bottles and left 3 gallon bottles. When I received an invoice, I was charged TWO delivery fees, and was also charged for the 5 gallon bottles
In addition to the 3 gallon bottles. I have tried calling, emailing, have tried contacting through the app. But cannot get anyone to acknowledge that I was over charged. Wish I had read these reviews before signing up.
We have never had a bad experience until this month where they keep canceling our delivery and rescheduling only to cancel it again. Customer service isn't helpful and never gets back to you if you email them. They give you the run around and it seems like they are reading off of a script. There has been no communication and they are very unprofessional. Do not use this company.
We have been waiting for weeks now for some one to come pick up the empty water gallons that we have been leaving outside our door, and no one has come to pick them up. We have called and called for some one to come pick up over 20 water gallons and every time they say that some will come to pick them up no one ever does. I would not recommend this service to anyone. The service has been terrible. Our neighbors have been complaining about the mass quantities of water gallons outside our door that have been accumulating.
There's no option to cancel in the website. I sent many emails, and I'm still receiving messages saying there're deliveries scheduled…
I WOULD LEAVE A NEGATIVE STAR IT THAT WAS POSSIBLE. WHAT A CRAPPY COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. THEY DONT ANSWER THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AND THEIR ON LINE SYSTEM IS CONSTANTLY DOWN. WHEN YOU SEND A MESSAGE, THEY SAY, CALL THEM. WHEN YOU CALL THEM THEY SAY, "WE ARE REALLY BUSY, TRY US ON LINE". A MISERABLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. IF YOU HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE, USE IT.
I cancelled my account twice. Once over the summer when I called and paid 4.99 to chat with a live person. My delivery stopped as requested then magically started again without my consent in November. I tried to call, but they no longer have live customer support. So I emailed them as instructed on the website. Both cancellations were acknowledged via system email. And yet today I got a text a text about an upcoming $40 delivery to my old address. This company used to be great and no it sucks. Reactivating my account without my authorization is a deceptive business practice. I see that other customers have been similarly affected. A state attorney general ought to investigate them for violation of an unfair and deceptive practices act and hold them accountable under the law.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. AWFUL SERVICE, they charge credit card, don't deliver. Cant get person on phone, chat feature disabled, email contact gives automated reply that someone will get back in 7-10 business days (yes, you read that correctly) but nobody gets back. 4 months I've been trying to close account, finally had to block them from charging credit card. Leave a note or tell driver you don't want water--it doesn't matter they charge anyway. This company is a fraud
We have been on the phone for over an hour with no human response. We just received a notice that our water bottle and base delivery are increasing in price with out justification. A request for a "tip" for delivery service is not "free delivery". We wish to cancel the base rental effective immediately. Please advise as to when you can pick up the base. We still want to continue our normal 4- 5 gallon bottle delivery until we can arrange otherwise.
ReadRefresh has more in common with herpes than any legitimate delivery service. Once you have it, it's impossible to get rid of. Weeks after requesting cancellation, I am still be notified of future deliveries
I have been with Poland Spring" water since the mid 1990's, and did not see much of a difference when they became ready refresh apart from their being more expensive. I lived in the Lower East Side of NYC from 2005, to 2018 without issue. I moved to the upper west side THREE YEARS AGO< and since then FOR THAT ENTIRE TIME my water deliveries have been either postponed almost every time they were due, either the driver just did not show up, or I received an email saying that "we've rescheduled your delivery for the next day". I initially chalked a lot of this up to Covid disruption but now I see it is just incompetence on the part of the company. It is Monday Dec. 20th, IM on hold now, Ive been holding for literally 45 minutes waiting for someone to pick up, as not only did my delivery not show up LAST MONDAY, even after the flurry of emails promising "next day" delivery three days in a row, they have the nerve to TRIPLE CHARGE ME for 18 bottles of water the last time they delivered IN November, when in actuality they delivered SIX bottles. This company is terrible, their billing is completely dishonest, they should be avoided at all costs. Ive complained MULTIPLE TIMES> Not to mention they call begging for empties to be returned because they run out, I literally had to call five times a few months ago to comply and have them come to pick up my empties, when they are the ones who requested that the customer reach out to THEM with empties. This company is the worst, get your water ANYWHERE ELSE but from Ready Refresh
Ready Refresh they don't deserve even one star.
The absolute worst company I have ever felt with. I was scheduled for a delivery but ended up in th he hospital. I attempted over 30 phone calls and e-mils and my friend tried to contact them for two days. They do not have a human being answering their phones and here I am a month later with not one response to any of my emails. I had to file a complaint with the Better Business bureau to finally have someone contact me so I could cancel my subscription. Beware of dealing with this company...
They are no longer in business so save your time and money however you should call your credit card to cancel.
Answer: I believe it's a lack of communication between them and the delivery guys. I had the same issue and cancelled my account. Watch out for your invoices too.
Answer: Beatriz S. Please tell us as an insider what kinds of policies ready refresh has and why customers are treated so poorly. You can help make the world a better place starting with getting these types of companies to change their awful practices and deceptions.
Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
Answer: Call them and ask to speak to a supervisor right away.
