Ready Refresh makes it very difficult to make basic changes to your account. For example, what happens if you move? You can't change your address without speaking with a live representative (which takes an incredibly long period of hold time to actually do). Why not make this accessible on line? I don't want to sit on hold for 25 mins while you try to sell me something else. Terrible customer service.
I've been rescheduled 6 times since August 12,2022 and it's always the day prior to deliver and the text comes at 4:30 each time. Getting in touch with customer service is next to impossible, and the number is not located on the app. So you must do a search, I do not recommend this company, I'll buy my own dispenser and pick up water jugs at local store. It's cheaper and reliable
Honestly, I love the service. It's not perfect, but the customer service has always been very friendly and helpful and willing to help out with different situations. During the ice storm, they kept in contact with me by text to let me know about the status of my delivery. It's super convenient and I love that there are several beverage options besides water. The truck drivers are also super nice and helpful.
The company seems to have made some positive changes. I was happy to get more reasonable pricing. Getting gouged for lousy service and unreliable delivery was what prompted me to write a negative review.
Can't rely on these idiots! They message you to tell you they're coming and to leave you're empty bottles out. They don't come... then they message you they're coming the following day... same thing happens... then again. The drivers themselves are nice guys but the company sucks! When you call they say, "we're short on drivers". And they wont guarantee it's coming at the amended date either!... same shit month after month... If you're looking for convenience, and rely on your water, look elsewhere!
When making deliveries, Ready Fresh truck drivers should always be mindful and pull over to the side of the road whenever space is available and NOT park directly in the middle of the road. I had to wait for this driver to make his delivery. I asked "how much longer will you be" and he said, "there's two ways to go around on this street". This was Not appropriate at all.
It seems impossible to cancel my services with ready fresh. How can a company have a customer service phone number that states customer service is not available? Then I send them several messages through the customer service portal and have heard nothing back. What type of company has no customer service? Horrible service. I would not recommend anyone use readyfresh. I am surprised no one has reported this company yet.
After billing and delivery problems I finally canceled the service.
Whenever I spoke with employees, whether on the phone or with delivery people, I was impressed that they did whatever they could to fix the problems. However, it appears the web site is very fouled up. Apparently, from what I am told, when you skip a delivery the system puts it back in. It may return to an older database and "replace" your request with a prior order.
All in all I was happy with the service. However until they straighten out the software I'm out of the loop.
They went up on their prices and if you cancel the service because you can't afford to pay the new amount the b*stards charge you a $50 return equipment reconditioning fee. If I can't afford to keep the service how can I afford to pay a $50 return equipment fee. This company is a rip off.
I was receiving good service up until February 2024 the delivery driver left me 2 dirty water bottles they were covered on the outside with a white powder substance it had a funny smell I started sneezing abd my pants were covered with the powder. I called Ready Refresh spoke with a gentleman he reimbursed my money but they didn't analyze powder that was on the bottles never heard feedback. March 5 received 2 bottles with the same powder residue on both bottles I called customer service they did nothing and I still have these 2 bottles I have been very sick since this incident. Ready Refresh has done nothing I'm canceling my contract with them. They are not to be trusted..
Not sure why this company has gone so downhill. I've been using them for years and now with the price increases, customer service being almost impossible to reach, the website sucking, and the drivers not even having delivery instructions ("sorry, I'm new and they didn't tell me you wanted the bottles out back"). I'm about done. I've been waiting for my empty bottles to be picked up for over a week. Sigh... what on earth happened?

I'm not sure they'll ever stop billing me. You can't remove your credit card info from their website. Everything was fine as long as the service was ongoing but as soon as there was a problem (leaking dispenser) things went downhill quickly. Or I should say slowly. It took months to get a response. Finally I tell them to cancel and take it out. They keep billing me for the service and the deliveries that I'm not getting. You can't get through on their phone line. Every email response takes a week or more and is unhelpful. You'd think when you rent a machine they would maintain it. You would be wrong. I'm charged $50 to refurbish it.
Save yourself a lot of frustration. Stay away from these guys.
Only giving 1 star because I had to give something to leave a review! This company came to my apartment complex advertised $3.50 per month but never stated " this is a promotion deal" after roughly 3 months the bill tripled and I refuse to pay it! I've never signed anything stating " cost would increase after 3 months and I'm been awaiting a manager to call me for going on 5 days how's!
Decided to return ALL there equipment there's no point in the manager calling me now.
In the beginning, everything seemed to run smoothly. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. During the "run smoothly: time frame, I end up with 12
5 gallon containers. At this point, I called the company & requested that they stop deliveries temporarily. My last delivery I received was in February. But, somehow my account now has a balance, for what I don't know. You don't receive a delivery, until invoice is paid. They definitely don't deliver, then wait for payment. I've also requested a delivery adjustment to receive 3
5 gallon containers, instead of my original order of 5. None of this eas handled & the customer service representatives are stupid, condescending & unprofessional.
They have missed 7 delivery dates in a row over a 2 week period. They miss first 1 when you call them and wait 30-45 mins on phone they tell you that you never had an appointment. Then I prove it to them by mailing confirmation of deliver date on there app. I take pics and send it to them. That happened 4 months in a row. But always reschedule and I got my water a couple days later. Now my last date was 3/18. It is now 3/31 they rescheduled me 6 times send me were on our way texts and they still do not show up. I'm at my wits end. The cust service reps are nice but they have no clue what's going on. I could understand missing a delivery or to things happen. But seven times in a row. What used to be a very good co. Now sucks.
We have been a customer of this company for years, but their delivery performance has been horrible. We never received our water in February, you can't even get a "human" on the phone, and when you email them you get an auto generated email that says "we'll get back to you in 5-7 business days, which is BS. No one ever gets back to us. My overall rating is ZERO stars!
Terrible business practices. I requested a termination of my account in August and continued receiving bottles three months later... at a higher price! After the third request and the second dispute through my credit card company, the customer service agent even asked me for a cancellation reason!
Avoid at all costs.
I'm so mad they left it at the wrong door downstairs i had to carry everything upstairs my self learn how to read the address then the Box is open from top and bottom that was holding the container! Really. That's what I'm paying for! Wrong apartment
I've had Ready refresh for over 25 years
( when it was Arrowhead). I never had a problem. Cooler replaced twice, one leaking bottle replaced within 2 days no charge. Add to my order on line anytime within 2 days of next delivery.
Been satisfied all these years.
Ready Refresh procured the business of a local service provider and to say the quality of their service dropped precipitously would be much to kind. You cannot depend on them for anything, including responding to customer issues, keeping their promises about pricing, maintaining a reliable delivery schedule and to top it off making it all but impossible to cancel their crappy service. Unless you relish frustration and not being appreciated as a client is you jam, stay away from this sorry sack of a business.
Poor service. I own a business need to use bottled water the last time I received water from them was in January. I received no water in February it is now March 1 I have called three or four times been on hold for 45 minutes at least each time, have you gotten an email saying it was going to be delivered three or four different times and no one has showed up! I'm changing over to Hill country spring water. Poor customer service. I would suggest never using the service

Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
