Been a loyal customer of this company for years. The first time I have an issue with substandard furniture that was delivered by them they refuse to make an exchange. There were multiple issues with the bed and nightstands. The bed was designed longer than a standard queen mattress leaving a 6" open gap at the bottom of the bed! The headboard is so short with a mattress on the bed, pillows get stuck in the gap. Nightstands very poor quality! Drawers are hard to open and close. The handle is too low to reach from the bed. Terrible furniture all the way around.
This is the first time I've had to call customer service with an issue. Their response… once you sign for it you're stuck with it.
I do not recommend Raymour and Flanigan for any furniture whatsoever. They will never have my business again.
I would never recommend them. I purchased a living room set for $5000 2 years ago. I have had issues with it since day one. I was told I could get a replacement for the piece that had all the issues but it was never replaced. They waited until I was out of factory warranty and into my platinum warranty before offering me a credit which has all kinds of restrictions. I also have to pay a new delivery and extended warranty out of my own pocket. Again I have only owned this set for 2 years none of the problems were caused by us. Do not purchase anything from here. It will be a waste of your money. They do not care about the consumer at all and only there bottom line.
I purchased the platinum plus protection plan for a leather sectional sofa set. I was assured by the sales person that the set was made of a premium quality leather. After a few months, we got some damage on one of the sections. They attempted to fix it, and the repair stood out like a sore thumb. They did replace it, however the section that they brought was also damaged and the delivery man tried to color the scratches with a marker. We did not accept it, and they attempted to deliver three more all of which came damaged from their warehouse. After all these failures, they stopped answering our calls, and now we are living with a $5000 set that has a damage section in it. The leather the set is obviously not made from top quality leather as it appears to damage quite easily.
I purchased a mattress a few days ago. It looks used and sags in the middle. I called to return it because that's what they advertised. They don't do returns or exchanges unless you buy a warranty. I did not. Total BS. DONT DO IT!
It a rip off bought a couch n ottoman the ottoman is fax fur but had choice salesmen said the fur one more elegant n with the protective plan can't go wrong I told him I had dogs oh no problem well 3 years later they tell me not coverd won't come clean it I would have bought the ottoman that matched n would have not matted so now what n the couch 14 buttons have feel off not ripped or broke no was not made well will never but from here again this is the sales person who lied to me
I purchased a dining table and chairs in 2022 and it arrived several months later. Almost immediately after receiving the table the top started to chip in several spots. I called within the warranty time frame and a technician came out to "fix" the table which was just coloring in the chips with a marker. We discussed our options with him and he told us since we opened the claim we can either get unlimited repairs or replace the table. Since the repair our table has chipped a lot more and I emailed about a replacement and they are now telling me I am out of warranty. I am extremely upset that I was sold a faulty product (that several other people have said also happened to theirs on the R&F website) and they are refusing to make it right. I was told I can get a replacement table and when I go to get that table they now tell me no. This business is awful.
Raymour & Flanigan, has ZERO customer service care, rude employees and those that are willing to help have no idea as to what's going on.
Their accounting department is the worst I've ever been in contact with.
They owed me $65.00 for brackets that was sold to me knowing I wouldn't need them after stating "they may be needed but just in case they're not, then have the delivery person call and return them for a full refund" it took them three months and with me having to call them every week sometimes two or three times a week. I only just got a check today in the mail after they asked for the last four digits on my card.
It took them three, yes three months to give me $65.00 back for their error.
I'm done with them and would not let anyone associated w/me do business w/them bcuz they're dishonest and c/s staff rude.
Kipling Chenille Sofa-Buyer beware - this couch is junk. Less then 3 months after receiving my delivery the cushions started coming apart at the piping/seams. I called they sent new covers and the same thing happened. Then the chase cover did it and they have been out 3 times with the wrong replacement covers. Good thing is now I have several sets to replace the continuing issue on the other cushions. We paid almost 4,000.00 and am so disappointed with the quality and that customer service can't to the fix correctly.
This co. Has terrible customer service called to inquire about my furniture, the lady talk d own to me would not put a supervisor on the phone. Very disappointed that I spent over 4 thousand dollars to get treated like this every time I called
I didn't have my leather sectional not 6 months and I started noticing the stitching on the leather was coming apart I paid a Platinum protection plan when I purchased in full and was told any wear and tear would be covered to find out they said it doesn't I would never purchase from them again they furniture are expensive and the quality is cheap I will try to find a attorney cause this is false advertisement.

I purchased all new furniture for the first floor of my home along with the extra 5 year Platinum Coverage Warranty in 2021. Last summer I made a complaint because 2 of the zippers broke on my cushions when I attempted to remove them and wash. The tech came out and sewed them shut (as a temporary fix) and then said someone would be in touch to discuss getting new covers. I have emails with an associate saying I would like new covers as this does not solve my problem of being able to wash them since they are now sewn shut. He again says someone will be in touch. NOTHING FOR MONTHS! I speak with customer service at the store and they say since my couch is longer available there is nothing they can do now. I still have 3 more years on my warranty and no one can help me. This is unacceptable. Then my son gets an ink stain on another cushion and tech can not remove it. Again they say someone will be in touch. NOTHING for weeks. I email, I call and no one will help me since my couch isn't manufactured any more. Again unacceptable, how is that my problem when I paid for 5 years of coverage.
I purchased a queen size bed from R&F. It has been less than an year and already two visits from the technician. It's a piece of crap that they are selling. The customer service is RUDE AF. They will make you regret your decision to purchase from them. I'll just throw this bed and waste my $1000. Please don't purchase from them. You will REGRET IT
I purchased an American Leather sleep sofa ($3000 value including platinum coverage) back in Sept 2015. We used it in Nov for guests. We noticed a tear in the platform that holds the mattress and contacted them. They sent out a repair person who could not repair it. They replaced it with a new sofa and when it came we had the delivery people open the sofa and there was the same tear in the platform. They sent out another repair person who told us it was a design flaw and could not be repaired. We asked the store manger to be compensated $600. He told us that it was too much and would cause the company to take a lose on the sofa. So we told them to take it back and refund us our money. In the process of waiting for refund. They obviously don't know the value of keeping a customer so now we will never purchase from them again. Their lose!
Go somewhere else. I bought tons of money in furniture. I furnished My whole home when We moved in and My Mother furniture. We didn't even have the furniture a month and the chairs started falling apart! Springs popping out, legs breaking off. Now all a sudden, they don't have parts. They want to credit Me only 90$ a chair and the away My warranty. I paid good money for the 5yr platinum warranty on every piece of furniture. So I feel like I'm being screwed over. Now I have the fork out more money for replacement chairs and lose My warranty I paid for? That doesn't seem fair. It's not my fault they sell junk! Dont waste your time.
Worst sofa we could have bought for the price we paid. Cushions are of poor quality with inadequate support. Its nothing like what they have in store on display. We complained about it the very first day after it was delivered, they sent someone, he inserted a layer of form into the cushion claiming thats the only thing they could do. Such patch fixing doesn't help at all because it makes support along the edges worse (that was non existent in the first place), cushions are now out of shape, sofa is extremely uncomfortable to sit. Poor product and poor customer support. And its not cheap. We wont recommend Raymour and Flanigan to anyone.
I ordered a new sofa in January 2022. I was told to expect delivery in 14 weeks. Well, now it is August 2022 and still no word out of Raymour and Flanigan. Please do not purchase anything there! A chair we order in June from their competitor arrived August 2.
Worst customer service, rude, arrogant and dismissive. The mattress they delivered was the wrong size, which they conceded but they refused to resolve the matter. The manager said he was going to hang up when I called, and stood stiff lipped, arms crosses when I went to the store. Terrible business model. Now i have to dispute the credit charge and take them to small claims court.
I ordered a sectional in November of 2020. Was told I would receive it in March of 2021. At the end of March I reached out to them and was told the company that makes the couch located in California had trouble getting the material I ordered. The couch was not even made yet. Maybe it would be shipped in April and they would stay in touch with me. It is now the middle of April and I have not heard a word from them. No communication. I am so disgusted I can't even think about reaching out to them.
