I called Raymour and flannigan prior to moving into my new apartment, I spoke to what I thought were helpful associates only to find out they lied to me. The cost of the furniture with delivery was 3000 and I am a law student that was on a budget. I was told that in order to hold the pieces and keep the price I needed to pay the total in full and I could not do lay away. Believing them I put the entire purchase on my card and slowly paid it off, I called and gave my delivery date and thought everything was fine. I called a couple times because I have anxiety especially ordering something so far out, that is one thing though, I was always upfront about when I needed the furniture, and they always said no problem. Now two days before I move in I call to confirm the delivery date and they tell me that some of the order is on back order…. For another month and a half. I have already placed a complaint with the better business bureau for the lack of honesty.

Purchased dinette set, livingroom set, one bed set plus extra bed frame on 4/14/22. Was told by our salesman, Venice, that everything was in stock and would be delivered except the extra bed. Received dinette set & living room set, but not bed set. That was delivered separately 2 weeks later, without the bed frame! Was then told we would get delivery of 1 bed frame on 5/20/22. That did not happen! When reaching out to upper management, still haven't received call back. The store manager Mike is acting as go between when I was promised a call back from upper mgmt within 48 hours. That was on the 19th of May. Today is May 26th! Buyer beware! You'll get told 1 thing about your order, but it will just be false information with no resolution!
I purchased a sectional in may of 2021 that i finally received in august of 2021. Since then ive had 2 service calls. One because the seat stuffing was bunching up and now because the control panel between the recliners was going bad. I think twice in less that the first year of owning something that i paid over $4k for is ridiculous! I can only imagine what is going to happen when the service plan expires! NEVER AGAIN!
I purchased a nedroom set back in 11/21 ($5,000 on my debit card) it was delivered. However, it did not include all the pieces. I've spoke with Sr Management who assured me it would be there by April. It's now September 30th and I still don't have all my pieces. I called the AG's office this morning. I will be filing a complaint. If you don't have all the pieces why are you advertising as if you do? R&F will never get another dime from me! The quality of their furniture is anothet story. TERRIBLE!
We have spent 28k at raymour and Flanigan... ut last purchase was a blue 6 piece sectional. Well after a few weeks of sitting on it my husband an I noticed that it was cause both of us to have lower back pain an im having pain in my right leg so we stayed off couch for a week an the pain in our backs started to go away. I called the store an the lady was so persistent that she can't do nothing we are stuck with it... well that doesn't sound rite... after 28k that's what we get? Well this will go to our lawyer I don't care if it's only 4k for the couch it's the principal that we are loyal customers an have spent lots of cash not credit. An we paid every time for white glove delivery. Lol thats a joke! No gloves no mask... that's there way of dressing the delivery up. Its 2 guys dropping ur furniture off that's all no more no less. If I don't get the service I so much deserve ill let the lawyer handle this an ill leave my reviews on every web site so the people that go to work every day to make a living an go to use that hard earned money to buy things for your homes. Look at that very small fine print... good luck everyone..
When I bought a very expensive reclining leather sofa and love seat, I would have given a 5 star review. The salesman was great. However 18 months later I would give them 0 stars if I could. My power reclining couch does not work and there is no replacement parts to fix it. So with the warranty they will credit for the couch replacement but not love seat. Credit is only good for 14 days and they have been rude and want me to make an appointment to pick out a new couch that will not match my love seat. I will never buy from them again and I will disuade anyone I know to not buy from them.
I've ordered mattresses and box springs relying on manager's advice. He gave me an approximate price, which I approved. Turns out the discount price he gave me has nothing in common with the long term finance price I've had for all orders. He was aware that I've chose a long term, but hadn't mention that this is not applicable to this items. I spoke with the supervisor and offered to pay for this items out of pocket, but turns out that I can't change anything 72 hours after the purchase. Also the recliner I purchased is not that comfortable as a floor sample, and the box springs were 9" with the high bed(also purchased same place) and high mattresses, so we were not able to use them, but when I was trying to return I was told that no returns on this items, finally agreed on replacing. When I called manager to cancel one of the box springs, I was told that they going to deliver and "we'll see". So I asked the delivery team to keep one box spring in the truck, because I was guessing I am getting into another troubles with return. So beware, the company is full of surprises. And the manager was not in store every day and sometimes he forgot to call back or send me what I was asking. Thank you Watchung store for the lesson, will never use you again. Never,never,never order from the store. Use Internet instead. This guys are just making money and never do anything for you.
I would give a negative score considering no one showed up for the appointment. This is the 3rd time I had to miss work for the same service appointment and nothing is fixed yet. Does Raymour reimburse me for my inconvenience? Very unprofessional and I would not recommend Raymour service to anyone!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Get your furniture anywhere else! Products are defective! Do not buy their warranties, they do not uphold them. Customer service is rude and degrading. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!
Bought a sofa valued over $5000. Upon first delivery two of the five pieces were broken. Waited ten days for new pieces. These seemed ok. There is a motorized lounge chair on the end. That worked and delivery people rushed on to the next stop. First time we sat in it and reclined the whole thing fell apart. There are digs in my floor from the bottom of the sofa. All the screws came apart. Rob, Sara and the gang at Dewitt NY store were rude and uncaring. Told me to set up a service appointment (they'd give me the number to call). My husband asked to speak with Rob to get an explanation and he refused. Said his decision wouldn't change. Then they tried to say we refused service and are sticking us with the sofa that has many many issues. They do not care about the service end. They only care about the sale. Go to dunk and bright or stickley.
Store salesman was great delivery service was horrible, lost 2 days of work, notified me at 630pm no delivery was coming scheduled delivery for the next day, notified at 430pm no delivery. Delivery company cannot be trusted to keep appointments. Buy furniture anywhere but here
Update- afrer cancelling the 2nd delivery i was promised a delivery on Saturday between 8-10 am, notified at 1230 that "truck broke down" I had to drive 25 mile to pick up the chairs myself at the warehouse where I was informed the chairs have never been loaded in any truck at any time. The delivery service has been lying to me the entire time
It is an awful company, unreliable delivery service from Newington, CT store, poor communication, misleading information. Don't buy there is you can go elsewhere. Bill Seymour
I bought four bookcases for over $2000 in October 2021 and was told that they would be delivered in three weeks, which end up being over four months. Then, the bookcases came with wrong-sized shelves and two shelves for each bookcase should have been built in. Delivery team was supposed to set up the bookcases for me but said they "do not do that". I called and emailed so many times and two technicians were sent to my house but they even did not get the issue correct. I called and emailed again and again and was told that they would only compensate me for $275 dollars leaving me with bookcases missing two shelves each. They also blamed me for securing them together-- I have a young child; my child could have died from it if I did not do that. It has been over half a year and this is what I get. I am beyond furious and had asked them to take the bookcases away and refund me! But I have paid hundreds of dollars for a third party to secure the bookcases and bookcase extensions from another company. And I tipped the delivery team $40 dollars!
We ordered bedroom furniture on July 6 of 2022 from the Exton Store. We were told it would be delivered on August 26 2022. In August we were told it would be September. On September 20,2022 I walked into the Exton store only to be told our furniture may be delivered in October. I told the salesperson I need by furniture delivered by September or I want my money back. On the way home I received a call from a manager and he stated we could have everything but the mirror delivered. We agreed it would be delivered today Friday September 30. I moved all of the furniture downstairs to be ready for delivery and my wife and I both took the day off from work!. At 11AM I called the store only to be told the manager must have made a mistake our furniture will not be delivered. I received my $6000. 00 return and will never shop at Raymore and Flanigan again. And by the way the manager on Friday morning seemed amused by our entire experience!

I got a call from a gentleman stating that the chair that was supposed to be delivered to me was on a truck to be delivered on Saturday October 15 2022 but he said he would call me back if it came in on the last truck before 4 pm he called me back and said it did come in and it will be delivered on the 15 between 12 and 3 on the morning of delivery a person called me from the Nanuet New York store and told me it wouldn't be delivered to because it didn't come in on the truck who is the lier I complain to the Better Business Bureau and store needs more reliable people who is honest to the customers
