You may see an article or two from Raw Story pop up on your Face Book feed. Usually they are controversial issues in the news. In the article comment section you will notice all comments are of the same mind. That's odd and clearly we see what Raw Story is all about. They report a news story, but only allow comments of one side. Case in point. Raw Story posted an article on my friend H. K. Edgerton. He is a black man who is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. In order to be a member, one has to prove ancestral heritage to a Confederate soldier. Wait a minute, a black man related to a black Confederate soldier? No this can't be. This isn't what we were taught in school. Well, all I can say is we were taught wrong. H'K' explains The War Between the States from his black Confederate perspective. All comments concerning this article were insulting and degrading to H. K. A man who is extremely intelligent and I'm proud to call him my friend. No room for debate. Only drive by insults(by the way, that last line is what got me barred from Raw Story comments. Oh, and the comment section is generated by Disqus) To sum things up, Raw Story is a Left wing rag of a site with an agenda.If it were in magazine form and people still had out houses, it would be very useful.

Every time I go to the site I get a pop up saying my membership has expired. So now you have to pay to read their crappy articles.

I'm giving Rawstory 3stars for content. But because there billing department sucks balls it does not get 5 stars. I have no issues with its content. It's a left leaning site. If you go to a right leaning site you get the same.
But my issue goes back 6 months. I was paying for a subscription and still had ads. It took me 2 months to get someone to answer me. Then when his suggestions didn't work I still had the same problem, but was getting billed twice a month. I email and email with no reply. Then finally got a reply. I had stopped going into my account. I wanted all my money back since at least August. They refused. I kept asking to cancel and no reply. This girl that did reply last week just started. Refused to turn me over to someone with more clout and had worked longer. Told me she has now canceled me but no $ back at all. So they received at least 2 or 3 months double payments and then from August through Nov as well payment for something I did not use.
Therefore they are an unethical company.
I couldn't believe it. They stand for justice. Just not with there own company.
They want to steal my hard earned $ durning a pandemic from a single mom with a special needs child well, it's not something big enough to sue them. But I can sure blast them everywhere I have a chance too.
My last straw was this girl. She tried to dismiss me over and over. She showed me.

I signed up for a subscription for these bastards because I was confronted by a pay wall every time I wanted to read their Rachel Maddow/Bob Woodward interview. No: first, they told me to disable my ad blocker to read the story so I did that. But the paywall still went up. So then I subscribed - my bad, stupid me - read/listened to the interview. And then could not read another story because the goddamned paywall went up again. MOREOVER, THESE BASTARDS ARE STILL CHARGING ME MONTHLY! THIS IS A SCAM.

If you post anything that is anti-Hillary Clinton or if you point out the fact that the DNC rigged the election against Bernie Sanders your comment will be removed and you will be banned. The Raw Story Mods. Allow HRC supporters to use foul language and to insult 3rd party voters. However, if you fight back or stand up to these angry HRC supporters the Raw Story admins will delete your comments. So basically if the Mods at Raw Story don't agree with your viewpoint they will remove your comment and ban you. The Raw Story is nothing more than a biased one sided pro-Hillary Clinton site.

Can Raw Story find someone or something other than TRUMP to write about? Every damn story is about him, Come-on, REALLY?

Me and another person had an opposing view to everyone else, we immediately got threaten by a moderator and called a trolls. And when I tried to comment "if I were a moderator I wouldnt do the same to you". It said that I was not allowed to post on the thread anymore.

"I notice that on liberal websites people like to sit and pretend that there is absolutely NO consequences to their actions. We all know thats BS, I dont even see the point in sitting here and pretending."

This is what I said, when I tried to email someone from the website about their moderator they responded with "I notice that on liberal websites..." and then the next response I got was "' I'm reading the parts you wrote that you left out of your note."

Even tho I sent them a screenshot of the entire conversation I ever made on the website (which was TWO whole post).

Only two post and I'm banned.

But hey, let me look at the bright side, comments without any other views are boring!

A few months ago Raw story started posting partial articles lifted from other websites. I contacted them as to why they were posting click-bait partial articles they never got permission to actually print. "Roxanne" responded:
"That is a snippet of a wire story we have permission to reprint, through a service called Nordot. The reason why you see that "Read more" link at the end of the article is because the original publisher of the article gets paid when you click on the link. "

I did not see the 'read more' link until I turned off ad-block. To read the rest of just one article 'Nordot' forces users to turn off ALL AD block software and also has 33 trackers ON TOP OF the website you are referred to. A user must give up their right to privacy AND allow all invasive pop-up and pop-over ads from the website that has the original story (usually smaller unknown often shady sources I would never allow to put trackers on my computer).

Raw story takes news, turns the title into click-bait, then re-posts partial article with very invasive to use link SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PAY A CENT FOR THE STORIES THEY LIFT. Notdot says partial articles with the shady link is free to other websites. Nordot has a full article option but Raw Story apparently thinks it is better to force users to give up their privacy to whatever website had an article a RS writer/re-poster twisted into click-bait.
