I was trying to use a shell gas gift card that I purchased over 9 months ago from raise.com during my summer vacation last year, and it went bad (balance $0) on my first attend to use it. I forgot about this issue after I came back from vacation and 2 more months went by until I realized it's way pass raise.com's 100 Day Money-Back Guarantee. But, since I am a royal raise.com customer for almost 2 years, I decided to go ahead to report this issue to raise.com hoping that I will still get something back. They responded to my email in 2 days, and after I answered couple of questions to their email, I GOT my Full Refund, in 5 business days!
Raise.com walked an extra mile to help me resolved this problem since they recognized the importance of royal customers who they build their solid business on. And that's why I love using raise.com for saving a lot of money!
Raise customer service agents have always got back to me in a timely manner and answered all the questions who needed to resolve an issue. They have been a great company to work with over the past four years and I continue to plan on doing business with them.
Thank you
Sergio was great in helping me solve my problem. He told me exactly what to do and it solved what I had done wrong. Also, I thought it was wonderful that I got a call back and didn't have to hold on forever until someone answered. I will keep using Raise for the excellent discounts I get.
I love Raise.com and my Raise app. And I tell EVERYONE about it. It's been an amazing cost savings to my family. Super easy to use, and the notification/alerts are so helpful so I know what's going on without stalking the site/my app for gift cards I need every second. I LOVE it! I also have had a few minor issues with gift cards (2% in the grand scheme of all my thousands of dollars of purchases), which were resolved very timely by the Raise staff. The Raise guarantee is true and they do back up their service with people who care.
I spent a $170 on a gift card with a $0 balance. Because it had been a year I was told they could do nothing but offer me $5 my next $50 purchase. No thank you. I will never purchase here again. Buyer beware.
I received an email from credit karma saying that my personal information including credit card had been breached by raise.com.
Personally I don't think it's worth the hassle to put your security information on the line to save a few dollars.
They can easily have had my information secured but it's almost as if they chose not to care about my information.
I hope this helps others so that they can be aware of how raise.com treats other peoples personal information including their credit card informations.
I bought two gift cards for 100 each on this site and went to use them. One of the cards had a zero balance so I notified customer service and reported problem with my card. They closed the report and have refused to answer any further email even though they have a money back guarantee. Save you money and use someone else.
Raise is an amazing service. I joined Raise a little more than a year ago and I have saved our family of 6 over $2,000! We buy gift cards for everything from restaurants, grocery and department stores. I have had issues with balances on some cards but by simply calling customer service, they will provide a refund if the issue occurs within a year of purchase. All their representatives are courteous and friendly, including Sheldon today on a balance issue we had on an Applebee's gift card. Despite some issues with balances, the service is amazing and the savings are fabulous!
The seller didn't activate the gift card we purchased, however; the Raise representative, Ariel was very kind and patient as to situate the problem.
I did save quite a bit by purchasing gift cards from the Raise.
Wish I found this site long ago that I could have saved more for the Florida trip!
Thanks for being very wonderful!
I've bought four or five cards from raise.com.
One was recently declined. I worked with Jess
And Maria to resolve the issue, and within several
Days, I had a refund.
Both Jess and Maria were very helpful and I appreciate how promptly they resolved the problem.
I'm not connected to raise.com in anyway other than being a satisfied customer.
I have been purchasing gift card through your company and now i feel uneasy due to my $300 petco gift card received through mail was a fake. Customer service should at least compensate for what has happen and figure ways to verify seller information before selling it online. I feel customer service is nice but should make buyer happy.
Lowe's physical return merchandise card proved to be much less valuable when I went to use it. The clerk kept the card, but Raise made up the difference just by sending them a photo of the receipt. I was I big fan before, and now even bigger!
I have used Raise quite a few times for buying discounted gift cards. Recently, I bought a gift card and when I went to use it, it said that there was no balance. I immediately called Raise Customer Service and they refunded me immediately. I was very happy with how quickly they fixed the issue. Thank goodness for the 1 year money back guarantee! Even with that mishap, I will still continue to use Raise. It's a wonderful service to save a little bit of extra money! :)
I purchased a e-gift card for over $350 so I was a little nervous after reading some reviews but it went flawlessly. I purchased it, got a phone call about 5 minutes later from raise.com to verify my identity and then they placed the card number and pin in my account less than 5 minutes later! I used the card on the web site I was looking at and it worked perfectly. I just wish my discount would have been better but I'll settle for 9% off at Pottery Barn.:)
I would definitely purchase another gc from raise.com!
I bought from raise several times and I decided that it's not worth it. If you are staying home housewife, have all this time to spare and really counting pennies - do it. If you get the card - you really need to check it and make sure it's not empty. Great feeling when you are in the register with your purchases and poor cashier keeps trying several times to slide your card. I ended up wasting time and money. I gave my mom Ross gift card, but she took too long to use it and she felt embarrassed to tell me that card was empty, I found it accidentally. Well, their 1 year warranty was over, but it pissed me off. I'm done with Raise
Hi Ilana. We'd like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Every listing on Raise is verified twice, once at the initial listing and once at the time of purchase to make sure the card has a valid and accurate balance. Our Guarantee is also in place to protect your purchase price for up to 1 year. Unfortunately, at the time you had initially contacted us, you were slightly outside of that timeframe. We understand how frustrating this experience has been and we'd like to work towards a resolution and make things right. Please be on the lookout for an email shortly from our Member Success team.
I have been a supper fan of Raise for 2 year, I don't shop or dine until I check what raise has to offer. The savings are real and tremendous! And it adds up quick!
I praise the founder of this business, brilliant! The service is great, never disappoints me.
We purchased a $100 PF Changs Electronic gift card from Raise last July (2022). We did not have an opportunity to visit Changs until February 2023 at which time we found that the gift card balance was zero. The card never left our possession in that time and NO ONE could have seen the card. We found out from Changs that the card was used by someone in full on 12/23/2022 but it was not us. its likely that the person that sold the card to Raise checked it later and decided to use it...thats easy to do if you have an electronic gift card. But Raise will NOT HONOR the ONE YEAR GUARANTEE...they lost me as a loyal customer
Their application is bugged. You have to submit a purchase multiple times. They freeze accounts without explanation. They are VERY difficult to contact. The phone number will tell you to contact them through chat or email. They say they'll call you and won't. You can't use the help feature in the app. You have to go to the website. They're slow to respond, they're rude and they aren't helpful. I would not recommend this company. Every aspect of their business practices are questionable.
I had ordered a gift card for 50$ but the card showed zero value 6 months later. One phone call to Raise was a very helpful to look into this issue even after the 100 days of member protection. The support staff 2 weeks later returned the amount paid for the card!
I would recommend buying gift card only if you intent to use it promptly.
Abraham was awesome! So very pleasant and helpful... Well spoken, attentive, and our hero of the day! He literally helped us as we were standing in the store to unlock my account. The purchase was saved, the discount from the fabulous cards was available to be applied, and my kids are very happy with their new summer purchases. Thank you, Abraham!
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?

Hi there, we’re sorry that we’ve let you down. Every listing on Raise is verified twice to ensure a valid product. Unfortunately, as this does fall outside of our 1 Year Money-Back Guarantee, at this time we are unable to provide a refund. We recently extended this guarantee to 1 Year to protect our members even more as we want them to be able to shop with confidence when using Raise. We encourage our members to reach out to us within this time-frame if any issues ever arise with a gift card, and our Member Services team would be more than happy to resolve any issues. We will continue to review this order as we are working every day to improve the quality and the selection of the gift cards on the marketplace. We’d like to sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and there has been an additional credit added onto your account as an extension of our apology.
