Long time Raise customer very discouraged with their so-called customer service for ZERO balance gift card received.
Long time Raise customer with little to no problems. Recently purchased a gift card and tried to use it. ZERO balance! Cannot speak to anyone at Raise and their online help is useless. Entered my information twice with no response to either request for a refund. Is Raise going out of business? Why no reply?
I had a problem with a Ross' card but Bryce of Raise.com in customer service was very nice and helpful. I will be getting a refund - a no hassle refund. It is important that you check the balance on your card in the first 100 days because that is their money back guarantee.
Raise has been an awesome partner to work with. I buy gift cards for my business and raise.com is always super responsive in the rare occasions I have any issues at all with gift cards. If there is ever an issue with an order they are quick to act and make it right.
My customer service representative, Jerry went above and beyond to help me with my request. He was very nice, pleasant and helpful! I have been a long time customer of Raise.com and have been extremely pleased with my purchases and the quick help that they provide. I would recommend Raise to anyone who wants to save a little money on buying Gift Cards. I am a Customer for Life!
Placed an order and needed it to be processed quickly. Called in and talked to Rico who helped me expedite the processing or at the least was going to cancel and refund me my purchase. Awesome support on Christmas Eve. Thanks
This is to acknowledge three individuals, Maria, Ariel, and particularly Blair, who has provided an exceptional support.
Thank you so much for helping me. I appreciate it. This way, I got increased admiration for Raise. I will continue to use it.
About customer service I saw my order cancel so I called to the customer service and the man who answer me with bad Attitude. Never ever got any treat to the customer like that. If possible I will rate 0 star for the man who even did not solve my problem and very rude behavior. Just like he in a upper level and customer needs him give a favor
I spent $864.12 to buy 3 gift cards last year in one order, I check the balance immediately after I got these gift cards, and they are all correct. I use one of them during the 1st year, no problem. But when I use the other 2 cards last week, they are not working, and system show $0 balance now, but it cost me $568.88. Because it had been a year I was told they can't do anything except offer me $10 account credit. After I request to talk to their supervisor, the supervisor told me they could do nothing but offer me $50 account credit. "Very great" for such "good offer", it just like a big joke to me. I will never purchase from Raise.com anymore. I hope I read these 1 star rating before, so I could warm myself not purchase from them. I wish more and more people can read my review before you make the same mistake as me. Don't believe this website, the lost from this website is much more than the saves you earned.
I would be a solid and continue shopper on Raise but having to manage and maintain a balances thatmight or might not be there is unacceptable as they sometimes seem to completely disappear from one day to the other. So I can give them as gifts and I'm not always sure that is a balance left so I always have to bring extra credit cards or cash to cover just in case. The raise support team has been great at refunding me my missing $$ but it is something I just don't want to even consider being a possibility when purchasing gift cards.

They are a rip off company! I had to call my charge card & cancel all my raise gift cards because they could not tell me which gift card was the last one I could not get to on my new phone. 7 phone calls & multiple emails to the ad customer service & all I needed was a crazy activation code & their problem could have been resolved. Stupid idiots. A elementary kid on a computer could have solved that problem. Don't know the order number because they can't get me to it. I would run as fast as you can.
Spent and hour and a half on the phone today, after having all of my lowes cards denied in store. Boy was I upset today, it was so upsetting! But then, I called and was assisted by Naevia who not only fixed my problem, but was so calm and kind that my aggravation quickly went away.
She was so helpful! Of all 6 calls I've made recently she's is without a doubt my favorite rep and a shining star at Raise!
Thank you Naevia, while you may never see this you'll never know how much your kindness and knowledge of your job made my life easier!
On several occasions I have had to call Raise for assistance with my card purchases. EVERY time I've called I've received a very friendly, competent, intelligent and outgoing representative! I can't say enough about how great they are!
I purchased a $500 gift card through raise which turned out to be inactive when I used it. I've trying to get in touch with customer support and have sent them multiple messages but haven't got any response. They don't even have any phone customer support. I wouldn't recommend this site at all.
I've had multiple bad experiences with Raise. The first time they gave me a refund for my gift card because it didn't work, so I gave them an extra chance. This time I bought a gift card labeled as "delivered to your wallet" (meaning it gets sent to your phone for immediate use). I read ALL the fine print shown and then bought it. I go to use it 5 mins later and only THEN does it tell me that this gift card has to be printed out to use! I was clearly ticked - I had to go ahead and pay without my gift card - and then asked for a refund. They're claiming I "misunderstood" the use of the card so it's my fault and they won't give me my money back. No misunderstanding here! They did a bait and switch! Con artists. I have NO respect for this company and will never use them again!
I had the pleasure of having Forrest assist me. I work as a manager for Neiman Marcus so I understand just how hard having a customer service position can be, but the service that he provided to me was superior. Rest assured in your purchase knowing that representatives like Forrest.
I had ordered a physical gift card on 12/14/16 as a Christmas gift, shipping directly to my nephew. It never arrived. When I asked Raise.com to check on it, they graciously offered to refund my account for the amount I spent, without me even asking them to do so.
I've been a loyal customer of Raise.com for a couple years. I've promoted them to many people. I only wish they offered a higher threshold on all shop.com orders.
I spent thousands on Raise, as I use them for large purchases. One day I purchased a gift card that would not process thru the merchant. After a month of trying to place the order and raise not helping me I am at a loss and out of 266$. Raise STOLE from me. They don't care about customers at all.
Sorry to be corny but it's true. Its nice to hear a pleasant voice from customer service that delivers patience and assurance. I am terrified that in this buying process, cards will be lost and I will look like a thief asking for credits. Fawn was very explanitive and comforting in educating me to understand how your investigative process works. I needed to know you had ways to verify any claims I have so that I remain a good honest customer.
She's a good girl... keep her and while you're at it... give her a "RAISE!". No pun intended.
I purchased a lot of e-cards from Raise in the last year or two. I didn't have the need to use all the cards within 100 days. Most of my cards are now invalid. The merchants are either out of business or no longer accepts e-gift cards! I called Raise and spoke with several reps, including the manager. They all told me the same thing... it's passed 100 days and they won't give me a refund. With all the merchant e-gift cards that I purchased on Raise, I spent over $1,500! A few of them are still valid, but the majority of the merchants, I cannot use the e-cards!
Save your hard earned money and don't use Raise. You're better off clipping coupons. In the end, they'll take your money and never look back!
I had purchased twenty $100 Ebay gift cards at one time. When I went to use them three of them had no value. I contacted Raise.com on 2/6/2016 about the issue and there customer service rep, Angel stated that I would have either a refund or replacement cards within two days. On 2/9/2016 I got an email from someone named Spencer which stated it would take between 10 to 14 business days. I've spoken with customer service reps three times and a supervisor once about the issue and they always tell me that they need to call Ebay. Its now 3/6/2016 and I still don't have a response. It doesn't take an expert to figure out that their ripping me off and have no intention of reimbursing for the bad gift cards.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?

Hi there, first and foremost, we’d like to apologize for any troubles that this experience has caused you. At the time of this purchase, our Guarantee was in place to protect your purchase for 100 days. We recently extended the Raise Guarantee to 1 Year this past January. Unfortunately, even when applying the new policy to this order, these cards were outside of our Guarantee and we are unable to provide a refund at this time. If a card that is purchased within our Guarantee shows up as invalid or inaccurate balance, we are always more than happy to resolve the issue right away. We understand this has not led to a favorable experience and our Member Services Supervisor has reached out to you via email with a bit more detail and hoping to find a different resolution. Please feel free to respond directly to us or that email if you have any further questions or concerns.
