Love buying gift cards at well under actual dollar cost! Some can fetch you upwards of 30% off, just by looking. I always go to RAISE before I have to purchase anything as you can save money instantly.
Love the service,
Thank you Raise!
I purchased a TJ Max gift card with 5% extra discount. However I forgot to apply the promo code before I checked out at the end. I emailed them right away and got refunded for the extra 5% amount within 24 hours. What a great customer service!
I had accidentally ordered the wrong gift cards as they were not actually gift cards, but redeemable tickets to six flags. I reached out to Raise and they handled my matter within minutes. They offered a refund and have kept me informed throughout the whole process. A+++++
I placed an order for a Carraba's gift card at a great price. Unfortunately, I didn't double check on the shipping address and had to call customer service for help. My representative was Yandy. She was efficient in correcting the problem in less than 5 minutes. Super nice, pleasant and polite. The perfect combination for someone in customer service. I'll be ordering again and telling others what a value they can find at Raise! Thank you!
I've been buying gift cards on Raise for several stores (for online and in store uses) and haven't had any issues with any of the cards. When an early purchasing snafu hit, they had awesome customer service and fixed it. I recently bought more cards than intended and again had a great customer service experience which resolved it (there's a human you can speak to!). While I find the app a little slow and obtuse, I love their instant messages when gift cards hit the shelves for stores that rarely have them available. Delivery of cards (almost instantaneous for digital) is always wicked prompt.
Like others have said Raise.com doesn't care about its customers and if you get a card that doesn't work you are SOL!
I bought an Off Broadway card in Dec. 2015 and found out Off Broadway doesn't accept "egift" cards for some reason or another.
I've been emailing Raise.com for 3 months trying to get some sort of resolution, but they just keep saying to wait 3-5 days and now don't even respond. You have to wait an hour to get somebody on the phone. I will keep trying to call in, but judging from the other reviews on here I don't have much hope.
I placed a call to Raise.com to inquire about a missing gift card I had recently purchased. However the gentleman who helped me said they had fixed the problem & I was sent an email to inform me about it. They did all that 2 hours before I even knew there was a problem! Raise is a top notch company & I will always be a loyal customer. Thank you!
I personally have had no problems with this site. I ordered several vouchers through the mail (Outback, Marshalls) and they came quickly via mail, and were honored. Used several e gift vouchers as well. Can't beat it. 10-%20 off is a great savings.
I purchased a Bealls Outlet card and tried using it. The sales person said the card would not process. She tried three times and then gave me the card back saying it would not work. I got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking I had gotten ripped off. I called Raise when I got home and spoke to Levi. He was very sympathetic, polite and promised to help. I felt a lot better speaking to him. He put me on hold to do some checking on the card. When he came back he said there was something wrong with the card and offered to reach out to the seller or give me a refund. I enjoy buying cards from Raise and feel confident they are a reputable company to buy from.
I had, for one reason or another, received a bad egift code. Calling into Raise's customer support line was quick and easy. The representative verified the issue and promptly made it right by getting me a new code.
Just a typical order for gift cards, and they requested me to send them two photos of my ID at different angels. This sound like a big scam and potentially ID theft. Yes, I want to save some tens dollars. But I am NOT going to sell my ID with full of driver license number, address, birthday, etc for just a few tens dollars.
Big scammer.
I thought I'd try buying eGift cards from Raise.com, so
I bought restaurant eGift cards from Raise that were initially accepted, but are now refused at our local B. J.'s restaurant with the manager stating they've been burned by the eGift cards from Raise.
I called Raise for help or a refund, but they refused to stand behind their product.
Looks like I'm out over $65.
Won't be doing business with them anymore.
Last time I use Raise.com.
Most of the time, my transactions with Raise.com are flawless. And my experience with Customer Service when something wasn't perfect has more than overcome any problem I had. Thanks for keeping me in the loop with prompt updates. I get the feeling that I'm dealing with good people who care.
I ordered two egift cards through Raise. I was a little hesitant at first, having never used this site before, but all the reviews I read said that the customers either got what they ordered or were refunded the full amount they paid, so I figured it was worth trying. After about an hour the order was processed and the codes for both egift cards were on my account. I used them both right away with no problems.
This company can shaft you without recourse. My wife purchased 6 large walmart gift cards. When she went to use them at Walmart the value for all 6 was $0.00. She went through Raise procedure for refund and two were refunded. The other 4 were not: "our gift card review/investigation believes they were used by you" They will not refund the amount... almost $4000. 00. DO NOT believe their statement that you have 100 days. The cards were bought and used within 2 days. They claim that they check them before they email and that they were good when they sent them so she must have used them. She has never had a problem with cardpool.com buying and using their cards
They really do assure you do not get scammed. I ordered 5, $25 gift cards to Target for a purchase. Two of them were not functional right away, and the other three had a $0 balance after a days time. I contacted Raise, and they helped me out hassle free.
Bought 4 gift cards for Benihana. Only one worked. I immediately called Raise customer service. They put the blame back on the merchant (even though the cards did not have either a pin number nor a barcode) and finally refunded my money back, but never taking responsibility for the lack of information on the cards. Don't buy cards from them, save yourself the embarassment at the restaurant/store! They are NOT guaranteed to work.
I was having issues with the app, I called and got immediate service plus follow up emails to make sure their advice worked, as I was using my phone and did not have access to a computer. Everything worked out!
I ordered a Red Lobster gift card and did not receive it. They contacted the owner of the card and found that they had not sent it out and the owners are only given three days to send it out. If they don't have a tracking number, they refund the customer who bought it. It was credited back to our account and the customer service rep was very nice, but as with all credit or debit cards, it took about four days to show up in the account.
I called my local Walmart location and the phone number that I was given was 1-800-walmart... I was then put on hold for 10 minutes... and got disconnected... I tried to get more information for you... Sorry it wasn't successful... Raise.com... I have been using this website for over 2 years now... I have saved over $1000... I love this website and the customer service is out of this world... Not only do they go the extra mile but they try and resolve any issue that you may have... Thanks Fiona... You're The Best...
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.

Hi Carolina, we're sorry that we let you down. Before a card is listed on Raise, it is verified to make sure the balance is accurate and active. At the time of this call, the supporting agent was able to verify that information as well. As our 1 Year Money-Back Guarantee covers cards that are inactive or show an inaccurate balance, we were not certain as to why this card was not working properly. We understand how frustrating it was to encounter these cards were not working as intended the first time and we are happy we were able to resolve this case and refund these cards for you. We have sent these cards over to our Trust & Safety team and they are taking a closer look into the redemption details for this brand so we can improve this process in the near future. We’d like to apologize once more for this experience and we welcome any further questions you may have via email at member.success@raise.com.
