Literally not one of my purchases are successful they're cancelled for unknown undisclosed reasons every single time. Needless to say they're "Cashback" and promo codes are obviously fake considering you cant even complete a purchase
I called about an issue redeeming a gift card and spoke with Naevia, the nicest, most helpful representative I could have found and was refunded instantly. Raise.com is a great site, especially knowing that they have your back if you run into any problems. Thanks again!
I had cause to call your phone support number yesterday to seek help solving seek guidance on setting myself up with the ability to efficiently swell gift cards. Martin listened to my situation and expressed genuine empathy. I am in the midst of a cash flow crisis and I need not just to sell, but sell fast and convert such sales into cash for my bank account.
Martin, through excellent communication and social skills, conveyed my options and their relative pros and cons related to my present circumstances. He went beyond the call of duty to explore creative solutions that I'm sure were not taught in your employee training.
Martin's people skills, initiative and creativity should be brought to your company's attention as he is very obviously being underutilized at present.

I've used Raise for basically permanent discounts on coffee (Starbucks cards), media (iTunes cards), and--most valuably--home improvement (Home Depot cards). I've bought thousands of dollars worth of HD cards at an 8-10% discount. My basement remodel is much cheaper as a result...
Had only one problem with a gift card from a retail store, but Raise refunded me almost immediately.
Highly recommend.
Bought my first gift card through Raise and was surprised that my card accidentally got shipped to my previous address just a week after I had moved(prepopulated, my fault for not checking). I immediately contacted support and got great help from Peggy. Aside from being warm and professional, she guaranteed I'd receive a refund if my order didn't make it my new address(I have mail forwarding set-up).
Great job, Raise! I will certainly be ordering more gift cards in the future. Even better, thank you for hiring Peggy. Best customer service I've received in a long time!
I'm trying to contact the Raise by email about missing cash on my gift cards what can I do or can someone help me. Never get back from them so I did try to chat with them is always offline.
Very bed costumer service
I found out that the balance of a card I had was incorrect, being over $100.00 less what it was supposed to be. Not only did Raise refund me the difference, they also included the discounted savings amount. I was told it would take 2-3 business days to be investigated, but instead, it took maybe an hour & a half! If you are worried about purchasing discounted gift cards, don't be. They have a 100 day satisfaction guarantee, and they totally stick by it! Thank you Santino for your help! I'm truly pleased!
At first I was really reluctant to use the app, but I decided with a 100 day money back guarantee what did I have to lose? So I bought an iTunes card.
I then had an issue with my card, when I called the support number I chose to have them call me back when it was my turn, glad I did. Probably would've gotten a little aggravated at something that was no one's fault. When the service rep called me she was very friendly, and assured me she would take care of the problem.
Later that night I got an email from her telling me the problem was fixed and I could go ahead and use my code. Thank you so very much aegis, you're awesome.
Had issues with placing an order for Home depot gift card of worth $1100. Customer support is not that great, at-least not customer friendly. Need to send ID proofs & multiple follow ups are required to process an order. Some folks in customer support are adamant & arrogant as well. Raise need to take some action against them to get to 5 stars.
I purchased 5 Ruth Chris Steakhouse gift cards and just found out that one of them had a zero balance on it even though it was supposed to be $250. Called the Customer Support and Maya helped me resolve the issue to my full satisfaction. I really appreicate all her help! She was very pleasant to work with. Thanks Maya!

Santino was exceptional! He is naturally courteous, and it is apparent that Raise has a robust way in training their customer support people. You do have competition, but the way you resolved this issue made you our #1 preferred provider of gift cards.
So I *tried* to order my first gift card through raise. Wanted to save a couple quick bucks (literally like 5 dollars) on a restaurant I was visiting. Said most giftcards are sent quickly. Waited and waited and waited and received an email saying my order was cancelled with no explanation why. Wow. What a waste of time. Clearly this company wants no business and wants to lose customers. Last time I waste my time with this stupid site just to save a couple bucks? Not worth the aggravation.
I had a really tuff issue that was really complicated and had been tossed on the laps of at least 6 different customer services reps from 2 different company finally decided to call raise instead of using chat. I was already stressed and upset from all the other failed attempts of help so I wasn't expecting what I got. After a lengthy hold I was welcomed by a girl named Blake, who was by far the best customer representative. She was kind and helped me resolve my issue quick and efficiently, despite its difficulty. Now, thanks to her I have this weight lifted off my shoulder and can go about my ordering.
If you by any chance see this Blake, Thank you again.
Starbucks punitively canceled a perfectly valid Starbucks card, apparently because I purchased it from Raise.com. When I spoke with Gus at Raise, he very quickly checked his records, and verified that one of the recent cards was, apparently, defective. He then almost immediately shipped out a replacement card for the full amount. Outstanding customer service.
I bought my very first gift card last night... On the app said that my order was "pending". I called to ask about the $5 discount for brand new customers, when the rep told me that I need to talk to another rep. The new rep started asking me regarding my past billing addresses and such... I mean I have never gone through this sort of questions except when dealing with government websites and insurance companies... When I asked her why I was being questioned, she couldn't answer in a professional manner... I honestly didn't have a good experience... So I will not be shopping from this website anymore!
Purchased a card via Raise couple weeks ago and tried to use it the first time in store yesterday. Was told card is not valid. Called customer service today and talked to Naevia. She issued the refund for me without hesitation and I received the confirmation email right away. My phone got disconnected for some reason and she did even call me back.
Very good experience!
I bought a 500 $ gift card from Raise. When I went to ise I found out it had zero balance!
I tried contacting customer service which was a nightmare, there is no way you can talk to an actual person by phone. The only way is online chat which has limited hours and doesn't always work.
It took about 2 months to finally get them to refund me, still didn't get the refund. Every few days you have to chat with them to follow up and keep things movimg. And every step takes "7 business days" which actually takes 10 days.
Absolutely horrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
The Gift card sseller will monitor their sold gift card. After 100 days, they immediately used the remaining balance if you don't use them. This technique must have generated millions of revenue for Raise.com by fraudulently stealing money from their customer. I will avoid at all cost.
So far, I have experienced excellent customer service from every customer service rep I have been in contact with. This is a big deal. Most organizations appear to give you the run around and lots of automated phone calls. I was able to contact Raise.com via instant message on their site and chat with a very nice guy who looked into my question and then forward me onto the correct people to take care of and resolve my questions. He told me to expect a response withing the next 2 to 3 days. I heard back from Maria - Member Services with my resolutions within 15 hours. So very awesome. Thank you Raise.com!
Updated review: Raise made two of the cards right. The third is being reviewed. I am thankful they contacted me immediately and worked on resolving the issues. With no grief, nothing, straight forward, listened to me and made it right. Thank you. I will be much more careful in the future... but I am thankful they stood behind their business, and that's important to me.
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?
