Beware!

The service is fine. It's what they advertise. The phones are a big issue.
I bought a phone in December that was $500. In February, the battery exploded. Apple said the phone was so old, it never should have been sold. It was dangerous.
I was told SORRY, our hands are tied. Not even a discount to replace the faulty one. Bring your own phone if you use this carrier. They don't care who they screw

Scam/Shady Company

This company has been promising me a free phone and tablet for over 3 months and still haven't received either. Keep saying the label has printed and it will be shipped within a week. It's been three months and to no avail. Please do not use this company as they are just getting paid by the government, but not following up on what they promised in providing the service and equipment as advertised.

The data is on the very low end. Compared to my friends post paid T-Mobile. His is always faster than mine. Sometimes it's too slow to use. Since it's free I expect to be low priority. Overall it works okay.

You get nothing... that is what you get. I am trying to set this up for my aunt in a nursing home and they make it incredibly hard. Their customer support stinks, their website stinks. They do respond quickly on Facebook if you out them for being awful. =)

Purchased a phone online which stated that the online price was $19.95. When I submitted my credit card info. It showed my card was getting charged $19.95. However they charged my card $69.95. When talking to customer service 3 times, each time I was told to give it 7-10 days for the refund. 2 months later still no refund. Called customer service again & now told that I will not get a refund because they are sending me a "free" phone. This "free" phone is supposed to arrive within the next year. Are you serious!? I never asked for a "free" phone & how is that free if you are keeping my money. I just want my money back that they did not have permission taking. I emailed numerous times & receive an email saying they will get back to me in 24-48 hrs. 2 months later & not even a reply to my email. I wonder how many people they do this to & how many people didn't notice they charged their card a different amount. Worst than that is that the phone works like garbage

They Get Zero stars

If you ever need the phone in an emergency, you'd be dead. Worst phones and service. Q link has been robbing the government and the people with crap products and service on us while they get paid big to have the government contract. How many of your CEOs are being indicted?. I hope my review makes people avoid your company you are the scam.

Dissatisfied customer

I bought a phone which was junk 12/5
I returned it on 12/8 and still have not received a refund for 79.95 I'm very upset this is money I can use and need for Christmas they never called me after sending emails with the answer they will reach out to me they just keep saying they have not received the phone back I'm very disappointed!
My money was taken and never returned

Horrible

I was told that I ran out of minutes on my unlimited plan...I am bed bound because of a really bad car accident so to be told I ran out of unlimited minutes two days before Christmas is horrible...They didn't try to fix the issue,they told me I had to wait til the first not realizing or caring that I cannot contact any family...Mental illness kills and I just want qlink to realize they played worst part of minds

One of the worst phone services I've ever had, half the time you can't do text or go on the web unless you have Wi-Fi. They promise you different things like free phone and other stuff and when you sign up they back out on everything. Do not go with q Link I am currently looking for another carrier

I'm on the phone an hour so far and still haven't had my call answered. Apparently porting my number requires a porting pin. That is not talked about anywhere in the literature. I found it out from ATT, my original carrier. If I can't keep my number and have to get a different area code and no customer service it's not worth it, even free. I'd call it a con. It's that bad. Bait and switch.

After being full time caregiver for last 6 yrs of my 94 yr old mother's life, then having to take early retirement and Soc Security at 62 and apply for SNAP food assistance, this phone service has been a very welcome and useful tool. With little money, now I can still make calls and access the internet thru my free phone service. Very grateful.

Omg. Their phone is garbage, can't see the screen, the phone does not ring when a call comes in. It does not give notice on incoming text messages. I missed my dentist appointment and will never get a job with this phone. I reported them as fraud.

Ridiculous no good business

They say it's free and unlimited but the data goes so slow you can't get anything at all done. You end up having to purchase more and Nothing changes. The customer service is horrible and your data runs so slow its impossible to get anything accomplished. When you call them they don't care, they are rude, and I feel like it's a scam.

Worst Ever

Smart mouth you with a smile, fix nothing and lie. I was told my service was activated and only text was working, that turns off regularly as well. It's now over a week and I still cannot make calls from my phone and keep calling and emailing customer service.

The short-term damage they caused of me not having a working cell phone for a week - because it took that long to get a SIM card to start with a different company - they now have also caused long-term damage in that they "lost" my cell phone number so that it can not be ported out. I had this same cell ph# for many years, this will not only be a major hassle in updating it in ALL places that it is documented as my cell ph#, but will have to also replace ALL the pet collars, & luggage tags, at the cost of a few hundred dollars.(!)

My service was cut off Saturday 5 days later I still have no service everytime I call I'm told something different everytime I asked to talk to a manager I get hung up on. I have sent multiple emails no response. The service was ok for two months then they cut your service off and nobody can help you I even called the national verifier who said I was approved. Qlink wireless is a joke

You do not know the difference between this service or any big name carrier, you can buy an unlocked phone of your choice and just use Q links sim card. Very easy! Or you can get a whole new device from them but if you want a a good phone I would suggest you get your own.

This would be a wonderful opportunity for seniors if #1 they could understand the operator on the other end and #2 if they didn't have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to talk to somebody. I had to change I just could not take it anymore, it caused too much stress.
