They worked with me when difficulties arose and even offered to upgrade at no cost when the certain product that I was looking for was not available. I would definitely recommend considering Pro Winds when looking for music products.

I wanted a professional C trumpet this past spring but wanted to try multiple horns. Prowinds let me order 3 Yamaha Custom C trumpets and try them all. I sent 2 of them back for a full refund. Living in rural KY this was a great setup, and I will give them my business for as long as I can!
A SCAM operation. STAY AWAY! I filed a claims despute with ebay & paypal. I ordered a mint demo saxophone via ebay. I never received it! Called several times only to be told I would soon receive it. I called six different times over a 7 week period. No one seem to know when I would receive the horn. After futher investigation i noticed that they were selling the same mint demo sax over & over agin on ebay. They haven't refunded my money yet. However I did pay via paypal and had the buyer protection insurance. I hope to get my money back soon.
I purchased 2 mouthpieces with the intention of keeping the best one for me. I returned one a few days after receiving them. I tracked the return and they received it. I emailed them after some time to find out about my return/refund. No response. I emailed a second time and no response. I called and left a voice message, no response. I called a final time telling them if they don't contact me or refund my money, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. Never heard from them. I had to get half of my purchase money back from my credit card co. I shouldn't have had to do all that. Horrible and non existent customer service. I will never buy from them again and neither should anyone! BEWARE! Awful, dishonest thieves. Ripping off innocent people is disgusting and they had many opportunities to answer my inquiries.
I bought a custom Charles Bay alto sax mouthpiece. 60 days passed they don't send the mouthpiece I send lots of mail but did not answer. They are totally scam please DO NOT buy anything from prowinds.
He's also very knowledgeable as a supplier in the music bis. In the past year i've purchased 4 high end Jody mouthpieces for 3 different saxes and had a custom neck made in Japan from Yamaha. All these items took 3 or 4 weeks to arrive ( the neck took 3 months) and i did return ones i didn't want. Musicians are persistent ( OCD?) and patient, the best thangs take time. For me Dean delivered, though it all took quite awhile, and he delivered at cost savings compared to other sites i'd shopped. Yes there were delays, on one refund too, but all was resolved. Over all, Dean is a professional dealing mostly with professional musicians, so i fully recommend him. Franz
I ordered from them many times. My last order, they back ordered my saxophone ligature. I communicated with them and they advised me that they had not received it yet. I waited and waited and as of this date, I still have not received what I ordered. The most interesting part is that they completely failed to respond to my inquiries regarding my purchase nor did they issue a refund.
Will never purchase from this company again! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Do not buy from this seller. If you return an item during the trial period they will try not to refund your money either way. If you fight for your refund, (which you should) you'll might have to wait a long time to receive it. You might never get your refund. Check out their review on the BBB website also. This people won't answer their phones and wont reply to messages or emails. Do not buy anything from prowinds.com Take your business elsewhere. I don't recommend this place. FFF
Be very careful when buying from this company. While it is true that the site advertises high-quality products, the dependability of the owner to send you what you pay for is debatable. Some receive what they order. Some do not. This was my case. After I placed my order (about $500), I noticed the chat option was no longer available on the site; my emails were also ignored. After receiving small parts of my order and no updates (tracking #, estimated delivery date, etc.) about the rest, I was starting to feel uncertain about the company honesty. I decided to send back most of the products I had and asked for a refund on them and those which I had not yet received. This shouldn't have been an issue since the refund option was part of the company policy for my order. After about a month or so of trying unsuccessfully to get ahold of Dean or anyone at Pro Winds to help me get my money back, I finally called the bank and got my money back. The way things were looking, I doubt I would have been able to get my money back if I hadn't called them.
Bought a Yanagisawa Two20 from ProWinds and it was shipped in 3 days. Excellent speedy delivery. Was told by Dean that it was much better than Two10 that I was thinking of buying. Got a better deal too. Had to wait about a week for the mouthpiece but Dean said it would take that long maybe more. Overseas shipping and some of these companies can hold things up. I know this for a fact as I have experienced it myself depending on what you get. ProWinds has no control over these hold ups Im almost certain. People are spoiled with Amazon Effect instant gratification. Im not saying there could better communication to let people know but you got to have just a little patience sometimes. Just saying!
Anyway I got a great tenor sax for a great price and a manager who knows his stuff. I would do business with Dean Foster anytime. Thank you Dean.

Update 3/14/20: I contacted the manufacturer of two of the items on my order. They contacted ProWinds, and I received a items-shipped email with a tracking number. The shipment arrived but was not complete. I ordered four items and received two. One came as ordered. The second was an acceptable substitute brand. Of the two unshipped items, one was on the packing slip as not shipped. The other was not acknowledged.
Original post: I didn't receive the items I ordered on 2/26/20. The total cost is less than $100. Status tracker shows the order is pending. ProWinds doesn't answer emails regarding this.
I only order from Pro Winds if it is THE ONLY place I can find an Item. Orders take anywhere from weeks to months. There is NO communication. You don't know when or if you are going to get your order until it arrives.
Ordered an instrument case online - firstly it is not indicated anywhere that the case is not in stock. OK, fair enough - I was quoted 4-6 weeks for the case to be made but the order was not passed on and it took 6 months for delivery. I would not have known that the order was not passed on if I hadn't chased it up with the manufacturer (after multiple attempts with ProWinds themselves). Terrible communication and service from Prowinds. Avoid if possible.
Recently I was in an urgent need of a Parduba Trumpet Mouthpiece, I had a performance... I ordered online and their delivery was very quick.
They have a varied range of instruments of this category. And I was very fascinated as they have an exclusive store of accessories. My recommended friend also bought a saxophone and got it delivered.
So along with their range their delivery is also very prompt. I would recommend Prowinds.
Ordered item for my daughter that needed the following week! They're claiming that items will be shipped within 24 hours!
Followed up after 5 days: ONLY TO FIND OUt, NEVER BEEN SHIP yet! AND MY ACCOUNT been CHARGED already.

If only I had checked the reviews in advance of sending them any money. They never sent one item and the one item they did send was defective. They are not responding to my requests for a refund - they owe me over $110.00 This is a terrible, terrible company. Snappy looking website - but they do not delivery what you order. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.
I ordered a trombone mouthpiece, they charged my account, provided "order and tracking" information however, it seems I can't track the order, can't get anyone to return several emails or phone messages and haven't received the mouthpiece I paid for nearly a month ago! I searched around online for hours looking for a Bach Artisan Piccolo Trumpet in lacquer and nobody had one that would ship out any earlier than 2 months from now. Dean, from Pro Winds found one for me THAT DAY! He followed up with me on the wonderful financing program they have available and just like that, 2 DAYS LATER I have the Bach Artisan Piccolo in my possession straight from the manufacturer. Brand new and beautiful! Will certainly be shopping Pro Winds in the future!
