My husband recently took up the guitar so I thought he would enjoy having a music stand to hold his music rather than resting it on a table. The stand arrived and he loves it! It is both practical and beautifully made. Dean, the owner of Pro Winds, was incredibly helpful and made the buying process easy. His professionalism and experience in the business made the process easy. I totally recommend doing business with this company!

I ordered a new Bach Trumpet through Dean Foster. I can only say that the service and communications was great. Dean followed through with Conn/Bach to make sure that my new Bach trumpet would be delivered to me in a timely manor. Dean at Pro Winds was great to work with and will be my number 1 choice to buy musical instruments and gear for now on. Pro Wind also have great prices and can get anything you need in the musical field.
I had placed an order for a Bach Trumpet, a new mouthpiece and a mute for my daughter's birthday. Both my husband and I were in constant communication with Dean, especially reading reviews after we had already ordered. I had not one issue with anything. Dean was upfront, kept his word and always replied back on email or answered the phone when my husband called. He was upfront with delivery and although the mouthpiece in mute were a little delayed (by a week), he was upfront about that as well. Both my husband and I were very pleased and will definitely do business with Pro Winds again!
I placed an order on April 8,2020 and it's now April 29th and I still haven't received my items. I tried calling them and nothing. Their customer service is really bad I asked for my money back and he replied with "fine" didn't try to make it better. Order has been pending for 3 weeks never ordering from here.
Ordered a number of items. Was never told that two were back ordered (was for a Christmas present that I wasn't able to give). After 2 months and multiple calls (getting the run around) trying to find out an eta on the product I asked for a refund. Was told it would happen that night. Nothing. Sent another email 5 days later. No response. Called yet again and the owner was rude. Received a refund approx 2 and I/2 months after purchase and only after several calls and emails. Not worth the hassle. Buy somewhere else.
I finally did get a complete refund from Pro Winds. They also gave me two boxes of free reeds. A spokesperson from the company called as well and apologized for all the problems. As I said in my review title - All is well that ends well!
I have ordered and paid for a saxophone neck strap on 16 October 2015. Being overseas, I have also paid $30 extra for UPS express delivery. Today,@ November, my order is still showing as "pending" on ProWind's website and my two emails and international phone call remain unanswered.
I will never order anything from this site again!

Promised instrument delivery for Christmas. I called a few days before Christmas and was told delivery wouldn't be until January. Cancelled order that day. Still haven't received credit (0000) and they just tried to ship me the order I cancelled in December! Then, they didn't even have the decency to call FedEx and cancel the shipment, even after I expressly told them to do so!

3 years ago, I bought a very expensive yanagisawa bari sax from Dean. Of course I was very concerned about sending thousands of dollars to a company I've never done business with. But the sax arrived on time. The sax was better than advertised and the price was the lowest listed on the internet. Then, I asked him for advice on a mouthpiece. He talked me into buying a mpc that was 1/3 the price of the one I was interested in. Again, the mouthpiece was more than what I had bargained for. Recently I called him about a tenor sax mpc. I just received it [on time] and it's the best tenor mpc I've ever played, and $10 cheaper than Musician's Friend. Dean has always replied to my emails promptly and every time I've called, he picked up the phone. I don't normally write reviews, but in this case, i'll make an exception. I'm very please with my experience with Pro Winds and will continue to do business with this gentleman in the future.
Happy with thier services, i ordered a flute online using a poromocode and they quickly delivered it to me. I got some discount too.
And quality of product is very nice, i must say.

Have been buying all my sax needs from ProWinds for a while now and I have always been more than satisfied with their service and products.
In a world plagued with Goliath corporations that carry anything they can sell doing business with people that know my instruments and their needs is a breath of fresh air.
If any time anything got delayed from manufacturers Dean at PW was always on top of it, a pleasure to deal with.
I ordered a mouthpiece January 7. It is now June. I have reached out to their customer service trying to find out what is happening and it's obvious at this point this is a complete scam:
1/7 I ordered the item.
1/23 I emailed to find out why it had not arrived. I got a response from Dean in customer service stating we should receive it in two weeks.
2/24 I emailed asking for an update on what is going on.
2/24 I received a response again from Dean stating it "will ship out the minute it arrives"
3/7 I emailed asking for an update on an ETA. No response.
3/10 I emailed again
3/14 I emailed again
3/20 I emailed again and then called them at *******907. I was told they "just spoke" to the manufacturer CEO and will be receiving shortly. Again told two weeks.
4/15 I emailed for an update. Dean responded that they just met with the CEO and the product should be in their warehouse "in the next few days"
5/5 I emailed requesting shipping information. No response.
6/1 I emailed again.
Do not buy from them. Nothing will be coming. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB if I can ever find an actual address for this "business". The lack of a physical address anywhere on their website or email responses probably should be a clue but I missed it. I'd give zero stars if that was an option. Worst online buying experience I have ever had - total fraud.
I've been dealing with Prowinds (Dean for 4 years now). I've bought 6 saxophones, numerous boxes of reeds... any and everything related to saxophone. Dean is always in close communication every step of the way. In cases that an item was backordered, I was fully informed up front, with ETA. All delivered as promised. One-stop-shop here, no need to look any further!

I recently ordered a Yamaha professional trumpet for my son for a middle school graduation gift. It arrived 4 days later. Had I read reviews on here beforehand I definitely would not have ordered from Prowinds but my transaction was wonderful.
No doubt, Pro Winds deals with its best, eminent service...really gratified with their services, i ordered a trumpet and its going good.

I ordered a practice mute on July 8th, and as of today, Halloween, October 31st, I haven't received anything, even a note explaining why the status of my order was still listed as "pending" on their website. They only responded to the first of my e-mail queries, two weeks after the order, but all subsequent e-mails were met by cyber-silence. One representative in August told me that the factory workers in Wales were off for the month of August, but that a shipment was imminent in the beginning of September. Another simply told me that the mutes were so popular that they simply didn't have any to ship, and that I could cancel my order if I wanted. Please, gentle buyer, beware this firm... it doesn't seem to care whether your order gets filled or not.
Bought a $595.00 Bam HighTec alto sax case Sat morning. Received order confirmation email within 15 min. Monday morning received shipping track #. Tues. Tried to track package several times USPS # did not work. Contacted Dean at ProWinds he said package shipped Fedex not USPS. Tracked package Fedex delivery set for next day Wed. Received package Wed. As scheduled, sax case is very nice. New Jersey to Chicago in 3 days very good.
