They are very true to their sizing! Not only did the dress get delivered earlier than expected, but it fit perfectly! I was also send extra fabric and extra jewels just in case I needed them! It was like the dress was made for me!

My daughter loves this dress. We did have to take up some, but we ordered big just in case they ran small. I think that it would be true to size and looks great. It is see-through, so we need a slip, but that is the only thing we would change.

LOVE IT

Beautiful dress; nice quality material; the rhinestones on the flower area is a nice touch; I'm having more added to the waist area during alterations to bring some bling to the top. Fits true to size. Processed and received within one week of ordering. The clasps at the neckline were not very secure and one fell off while trying on the dress - will have it replaced during alterations as well.

Awful experience

Bought a dress. Toooo long. Unexpected issues came up with our family. We tried to return-NEVER WORN. The company would not refund,! Because we contacted them a few days too late. No empathy. Never again.,,

Evidently returns are only accepted within 7 days of arrival - no exceptions. After that, you are stuck with a horrible dress and wasted money. I was told to try to resell it on E-Bay when I called customer service. A 7-day return policy is absolutely rediculous. I will not purchase again from this company.

Beware of "restocking fee"

They boast "free returns" but charge a $12 restocking fee per item. I would have never ordered five dresses that may or may not fit had I known that. Too many other sites truly offer FREE returns.

Also, quality was very David's Bridalish.

The return policy agreed to states the following information: Regular-priced items may be returned for a full refund, unless otherwise stated. There is no restocking fee on the first two regular priced items. There is a $12 restocking fee for each additional regular priced item being returned.

Don't do it!

Very misleading with the free returns, especially when this site is shopped by high school girls that aren't as savvy to the tricks these companies pull. My daughter ordered the dress she wanted in 2 different sizes to see what fit better since she could return for free. BIG mistake. First, you have to return within 3 days for the shipping to be covered, second, he dress was on sale so it qualified for store credit only. It is her fault for not reading the policy completely but I still feel that prom girl is taking advantage of young girls that are just trying to find the perfect dress. I wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE i let her order. Never again.

Do not order!

Do not order! I bought a prom dress from them and it was the wrong size, color, and looked like $#@! The sequins were falling off, some parts weren't even covered. They are HORRIBLE with dealing with returns.

My daughter decided to be in the class beauty pageant at her high school again this year. I realize that a lot of the other girls spent $500 + on their dresses, but I am not willing to spend that much. So, off to the internet I went. After searching tons of online shops, I stumbled upon Promgirl.com and couldn't have been more pleased to find THE dress! I took my daughter's measurements, entered them for the dress she wanted. We placed order on Monday and dress arrived on Thurs. Dress was perfect and just as pictured on their website. She even place 1st runner up in the pageant... judges scored her 28 out of 30 for her dress. Will definitely order from them next year as well!

Horrible!

Horrible! DO NOT ORDER. Neck opening is so small my petite daughter couldn't even get her head through it. I contacted customer service to send it back and the only answer I got was to have alteration shop fix it. Quality is nothing close to what you see on website.

Total rip off

Ordered a dress from prom girl and paid $30 for international expedited delivery. Imagine my surprise when UPS said I had to pay an extra £29 upon delivery or my dress wouldn't be delivered! So I ended up paying over $60 in total for delivery to the UK.

Dress was also made of cheap material and nothing like the online picture - spent nearly $200 on a dress that I can even wear. Terrible

Absolutely Amazing

I'm always skeptical of purchasing clothes online because sizing can be so different but I seen this dress (after looking on many other sites) and I had to have it. The ordering process was so easy and delivery was excellent. This dress is amazing! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit. Very satisfied customer here.

Ordered a dress for $185 on promgirl.com that I had seen in stores for nearly $500. Arrived within the promised time and is exactly the same as (not just a knockoff of) the one in an expensive dress store! So super happy with getting such a stunner for so cheap without the expected faults/ differences from original/ bad colour that so many online buys have. Awesome site! I would totally buy from there again! :D

After reading so many horrible reviews I was pretty nervous to order from this site. But WOW! I ordered my dress yesterday and got it today. Less than 24 hrs later. It was in perfect condition and looked just like the picture showed. It fit great as well! It's a little long so I'll have to have it hemmed, but I couldn't be happier. I'd recommend this site any day and definitely plan to continue shopping here.

My daughter ordered several dresses online for prom with the intent of deciding and returning the ones she did not wear - reasonable plan. Promgirls return policy made a return IMPOSSIBLE. They wont accept returns unless you complete it within 7 business days and you have to have photos to prove you didn't wear the items. I went ahead and returned without a return request and they had the balls to ask me for a CC to send the items back to me. This site sucks, the dresses were not great and such awful customer service from an online dress company is inexcusable. Will never shop there again!

Ordered a dress for a Sweet Sixteen party that is a size small. My daughter tried it on, it ran big, but went over the "5 day return policy". So, now stuck with a dress that doesn't fit and cost me $100. Promgirl is not customer friendly at all. Won't order from them again. Their return policy, and 10% re-stocking fee is a detourent for keeping any "new" customers.

I bought two dresses for the military ball. Didn't know how each one would fit or if I would even receive them on time because I needed them shipped to an APO address. Both dresses came 8 days after I ordered them. The online representative was very helpful in explaining the return and exchange policy. One of the dresses didn't fit me how I would have liked. No fault of the company it's just my body type wouldn't have looked well in the dress. The second dress is BEAUTIFUL and everything I was looking for. I'll just have to adjust the straps a bit but it's an easy fix. Over all I'd definitely suggest promgirl to anyone looking to find that perfect dress. Great service all around!

Lack of compassion

Bought a dress for daughter with full intention that she was going to prom based on the schools recommendation. On May 19th, we are told that prom is cancelled. I paid almost $400 for a dress that my daughter will NEVER wear! I understood the 7 day refund policy but like i stated, there was not an intention of not going. Promgirl does not care about this at all and is not willing to return me my money, even during this financial crisis. I will NEVER shop or recommend anyone to shop with your stores again due to your lack of compassion during this horrible time where our seniors have already lost so much.

The website was easy to navigate and the gown arrived in a timely manner. It is stunning! It is difficult to find Sherri Hill where we live, so we were thrilled to be able to get this dress.
Just an FYI-for those that are complaining about the return policy, the 10% restocking fee is standard when buying evening gowns on line. Yes, gowns are hard to find the right size and run very true to measurements. It is best to contact the company if you are debating between sizes or fit.
