I never got delivery to my order and refund too. The customer service is also bad.

I have never used this service but somehow I was signed up for their monthly $9.99 service without my knowledge. They never even informed me of this. After 11 months I finally noticed this monthly bill on my credit card statement. When I contacted them about this fraud they informed me that their automated fraud detection system had already caught this fraud. I asked them why, if they knew these were fraudulent charges, they continued to bill me, collect my money and not inform me. They then refused to further communicate with me and answer this contradiction but with the help of my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau the charges were reversed. With help like theirs, who needs enemies!
My Delfina pizza order took two hours to arrive.
The pizza was cold.
Not hot, not warm, but COLD! The kids were hungry and disappointed and starting snacking as they had to wait so long for the pizzas.
What a mistake to use this service.
Postmates has horrible customer service. They do not care about their workers and I have yet to receive help from Support. I made a delivery and the app had glitches. I was unable to receive the drop off locations once I picked up the meals. They SUCK $#*!. RUN ME MY MONEY HOES.
I own a few restaurants in the city although this is my first order as a customer through Postmates.
Here are the issues:
1. I met the driver at his car. I handed the driver a $5 tip, He handed me a bag and said it was the complete order. I could tell by looking at it, it was incomplete. I asked him to leave the single item and either bring the remaining order or cancel it. He said the restaurant wouldn't believe the order was incomplete if he didn't return the item. I told the driver that didn't make any sense. I called the restaurant and they knew the driver left without the other items. I told the restaurant I would drive to them immediately if they could remake the one item and they agreed.
2. I got in may car and drove to the restaurant and when I get there I was told the driver took the order after they told him to leave it as I was on my way. They did offer to remake the meals, but it seemed like a waste so I said there was no need.
3. I rushed home, and the driver delivered the items prior to my arrival. When I got home I checked the order was still missing some items. I was going to just let it go until I realized the food was was soggy and not hot. I then realized it had HOT sauce and not mild as requested. I go to this restaurant a few times a month and there is a clear difference between mild and HOT.
4. Jason Pierce of Postmates offered to credit me about $8. I nice gesture, but being that I paid a $5 tip for a delivery (even though I drove to the restaurant) as well as a deliver fee and the order still wasn't complete or correct this is unacceptable.
5. I think part of the problem stems from the driver's car smelling very strongly like marijuana.
6. I emailed customer service as well as asked Jason Pierce to give me a call and have not heard anything.
I ordered last night and my total at check out and the total my card was charged were extremely different amounts. Unauthorized charges, I will never use this service again. To get customer service it's all through email, no phone number.
THEY SCAMMED ME SO HARD! Signed up months ago and right after I had input my credit card info I found out they do not service my area. I deleted the app right after. Months later I found out they had auto enrolled me in the subscription and it was doing auto payments monthly of 9.99, tried contacting them multiple times, no one ever reaches out back to me. The company charged me $11.00 more for a delivery than was on the original estimate. It is impossible to speak with a human and get it addressed. They placed a hold (or actually, they pulled $41 from my account, which still hasn't been released, and then charged me $43 for a delivery of $16.00 pizza, which is less than 2 miles from my house. I will never use this company again. If it were possible to give them negative stars and/or no stars, I would do that. Bad company.
They delivered my food wrong and then they charged me $78 for a $40 meal. When I finally was able to speak with someone all she did was offer excuses and place blame on me and the restaraunt. It was suppoed to be a free delivery and I was charged. Dont order ffrom this service, once they get your credit card info they overcharge. This company should be reported to the BBB and taken out of business.

From dealing with the problem of not receiving my food, they gave me excuses such as - We've texted you! We have push notifications for you! They did not even think about the customer, that is what aggravates me. They passed my issue from person A to person B to person C, each individual saying different things. At the end, they wanted to charge me when I didn't even RECEIVE my order. Wow. They clearly do not know what they're doing or even understand the basics of customer service. Never going to use this service again. I recommend Doordash. Do not ever use this service! You will not experience this terrible service as I did.
Postmate is a scam. They can't get an order right. No way to provide instruction, no way to contact the driver. No way to get anything right. Then they'll refund only half of what you paid for. Scam! I don't understand why these guys are still in business.
I saw a promo online for new customers of $100 delivery credit (FB412). The ad made it seem like you would be getting $100 credit on your account so I ordered three times with them. The first order I put in at 11:30AM to be delivered by 1:30PM. The order never came, waited hours, contacted them via email took forever to hear back and Postmates canceled the order at 4:30PM. Still wanting to take advantage of the promo I ordered a second and third time a $40 and $60 order. Btw my second order was incorrect! I contacted Postmates to see why my order was not credited and both orders cleared my bank and they email saying it is only a "delivery credit" that last 7 days of using. SO THEY EXPECT YOU TO ORDER 25 TIMES IN A 7 DAY PERIOD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PROMO CREDIT. WHAT A SCAM. THE PROMO CODE IS A JOKE AND I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND AM DISPUTING THE CHARGING WITH MY BANKING INSTITUTION AS WE SPEAK!
I put an order in through Postmates for Smashburger for four different burgers and some fries. When the order arrived it was for four classic smash burgers, none of which I had ordered. What was worse is that one lunch was for a woman with celiac who could no longer eat her lunch and one was for a co-worker that did not eat red meat for religious reasons and was waiting on a turkey burger. Frustrated and highly embarrassed as I was buying for the whole office I tried to contact their customer support. Initially, they responded and gave me $7.00 back, not even a quarter of the disastrous order. Since then I have emailed their customer support center daily requesting a call from a live human being and there has been no response. I want everyone to know that this place has NO customer service, careless drivers, and NOT to order through them EVER.
Terrible service. My friend let us use his debit card, but the charge was disputed. Even though I've switched my account back to using my own card, which works fine, they have put a freeze on my account. When I wrote to the support team, they said I had to get my friend to provide bank statements to unfreeze my account?! Bull$#*!. Use doordash, eat24, or grub hub. Awful company
Non delivery, Did Not arrive at the projected time and policy of waiting 5 minutes then taking the food that Ive paid for with you. At least leave it at the front door... if you arrived at all.
I joined Postmates as a naive girl in need of some food from restaurants that lacked a delivery service. Since then, I have blossomed into a well-informed adult who is now a part of Postmates' hate club. This journey has been difficult. It has been traumatic. Not only does the food take a long time to arrive, but that is on a good day. Some days, the app says my food is at my front door. This information excites me. What happens next, however, might surprise you (*solemn face looking off into the distance). I go to my door, happy that my order which initially stated would be here in 30 minutes, to find that my order which has taken over an hour and a half because my deliverer decided to run half a marathon around the city of New York never arrived. Where did my food go? Is it out there? Is it okay? Is it in the belly of another? These questions haunt me at night as I drift away into a deep slumber. For all I know, the delivery guy might never have left his couch. Probably just attached his tracker to a cat. Unacceptable! Who goes and attaches a tracker to an innocent kitty? Probably bribed it with some catnip to do the dirty work OR MY CHIPOTLE! GUILTY! POSTMATES IS GUILTY.
The main point of Postmates is to keep the cost of support functions like customer service down. As such, there is no way to directly contact this company.
Their website does not retain order information such as delivery time as you navigate through the order creation process. As such, it is very easy to order food for the wrong time since your requested time may not have been saved.
There is no way to update an order, even minutes after placing it, unlike GrubHub and others. There is no way to talk to someone about situations like this.
The suggested way to deal with this is to cancel the order (and pay the fee) and place a new order. The help instructions did not mention that you will not be refunded for a cancelled order, even minutes after placing it.
If all goes well, and sometimes it will with Postmates, then you're golden. Though the extra unexplained $20 fee and high delivery charges are troubling. But if there is any question or issue, you are out of luck.
On top of that, the replacement order I did place was an hour late and I got no status reports about what was happening.
Would not recommend.
It is impossible to do worse than POSTMATES! It took FOREVER to figure out how to order to only find that the PLACE CHOSEN WASN'T IN MY DELIVERY AREA! WHY WAS IT SUGGESTED WHEN I PUT MY DELIVERY ADDRESS IN?
Then, by the time we found a place to deliver, it timed out because it took so long and the restaurant had stopped delivering because they entered into their peak hours! NOT THE RESTAURANT'S FAULT HERE!
Lastly and certainly not least. After we finally weeded through these incredible problems and went to successfully place an order, IT SAID MY GIFT CERTIFICATE CODE HAD EXPIRED! It was said never to expire!
I contacted customer service 6 days ago and have had NOTHING BUT AUTOMATED RESPONSES SAYING THEY are experiencing a higher than average number of requests and thank you for my patience! I HOPE THIS COMPANY GETS WHAT IT DESERVES!
There isn't enough time in the day to address all of the problems with this service. My feedback can be reduced to: absolutely disgusting customer service. I've never been offered actual help, assistance, or anything to make up for wasted orders, incorrect orders, orders that show up 2 hours late, etc - these are all things that I've experienced in my ~10 orders.
Second, there is no obvious way for the customer to voluntarily reach out to the Postmate before they pick up the order.
As it stands, this service has costed at least an extra hundred dollars so far - and not so much as an apology or offer of a single free delivery service. I understand that people will gauge you if you let them, but WOW. You'd think a SF company in 2017 would be a little most customer facing. HA.

I was charged for orders I never got and also I reached out to them multiple times never got anything back. They actually put on the app that the order was resolved when I have never spoken to them this company is a fraud and I do not know why they are still in business! I'd say remove your card information.
