Postmates has repeatedly messed up orders of mine and coworkers. I work in a large company And our lunches usually fall on the same time. We have tried ordering from postmates on multiple occasions. Not ONE time have they successfully gotten an order correct. They show up with complete orders missing, or sometimes they dont show at all. Today I placed an order for the team and postmates sent me a notification saying our was being picked up and 20 mins later they sent another notification saying it couldnt be delivered. I recieve a call 5-10 minutes after apologizing and saying a credit would be applied and to reorder. I logged out and logging back in no credit and when trying to reorder it stated no post mates are close enough to place your order this app is complete trash. Ive never received customer service this terrible. If I could put zero stars I would. I recommend sticking with Uber eats or door dash if they are available options to you. Postmates should not even be considered as an option. They CAN guarantee to mess up your order and leave things out.

Pre-ordered lunch today, got a page, that appeared to be a confirmation that my order was placed, waited and waited, no lunch! Emailed to follow up on why no order, was advised they had no record of one being placed. Sent them a copy of my receipt, was advised, Sorry, that is not a confirmation of order, "with screenshot provided shows that your order was never placed. This order wasn't fully checked out. We apologize for the mix-up and we hope this helps." From my end, it appeared it was fully placed, it showed they receipt of what was charged and to what account. Not to mention that I tried to place an order yesterday and was told my card was invalid and I addressed that with them and they stated, there wasn't enough in the account to cover the pre-authorization. I said, unless the pre-authorization was more than $200 there should not have been a problem and got absolutely no response! Are you kidding me! Needless to say, now my lunch hour is over and I had no lunch! With just a gee, golly, I'm sorry! Will never use postmates again!

Stole my money
July 11, 2018

I worked as a postmate driver for over than 2 months and didn't get paid yet, i quit working more than 7 months ago... still need 432 dollars from them, i emailed them like 10 times and they weren't answering me...
I need an advice about how to get my money from them please...

Order took way to long to deliver and we only live down street. I scheduled our food for delivery at 12:30 and we i check time of delivery when i tracked my order it said 1:10pm. Never will i trust or promote postmate to anyone. They lost a customer for life and I will promote this company as a peice of manuer

Not only was I shorted an item for a restaurant recently, they did not refund me for a promotion they were running and when I made them aware of a $21 price difference on an item they gave me every excuse in the book to not pay me back. Not only is all this bad customer service, they are outwardly stealing money from me.

My experience with Postmates has been really really good. Sure, they should fix the menu typos on their site... I mean, sometimes they misspell really hard words like ' Pizza " haha. They also have hidden fees so you have to know how to work the system. Look for the deals on there and stuck with the Postmates partners when ordering, otherwise extra fees galore. Do not get their unlimited because unless you are ordering for a family every time - you have to hit a 20. Min instead of a 12. Min. Ask for your order to be left by your door- it's just way easier. Customer service has really been good to be for the most part.

I thought I was going to make monthly installments. Like a regular subscription service. Come to find out the it all comes out at once. Never again. Cancelled and will never order anything through this company. If anyone asks me about it. Steer clear!

Please learn from my story. If you are having a random craving for a Taco Bell bean burrito, and you see that Postmates will pick it up, for the love of God don't do it. You will not get a correct order from Postmates. Or this Taco Bell. You WILL get yelled at by the TB manager. You WILL be offered $1.24 refund for your $21 order that you cannot eat. Here is what happened to me between 12:15 PM and 2 PM today.

I ordered Taco Bell from Postmates. I asked for pretty easy things = no cheese on my burritos and put in a hardshell taco, no cheese or lettuce on my taco, and selected beans for the third taco. Why order a burrito? Because the menu gives no option to order a bean taco. WTF. This is your work around. It's not clear to me if the person who got my food or the people who made my food created this mess.

I called Taco Bell to let them know what happened. I was very calm when speaking. I asked for the manager, and a very angry man was put on the phone. He said The mistakes are my fault, not his fault, we make what you give us. He continued to yell, so I hung up. I don't need to be treated like that.

I used Postmates app to send information that four of my five orders were wrong, and I could not eat them. I got a very quick reply. It said sorry your order didnt turn out the way you wanted it to, but here is $1.24 in refund.

Enjoy learning from this, and please find somewhere else from where to order your food. Never never never never NEVER use Postmates!

I was charged 24.90 for a #1 Big Mac meal from macdonalds (big rip off) there usually 8.00$, but worst of all the girl kept my soda so I only received a burger and fries. Yikes!

Biggest SCAM EVER!

I worked for them for a month while I had someone referr me and they said I could make at least 500 dollars as a bonus if I did 55 deliveries in under a month, so after working my $#*! off for a month straight to hit that 55 mark on a bike which they still sent me across the world btw doesnt matter what vehicle you have... they only gave me 180 as a bonus and basically the person who referred me made more money than me and didnt even have to lift a finger. This is the most dishonest dicieving company Ive ever worked for and honestly I just feel so disrespected at the fact I went so hard for a Month just to basically be lied to at the end of it and have my friend make more money than me for nothing. I really hope a postmate creator reads this if you are then shut down this trash $#*! company.

Stay the hell away from this app. My coworkers and I waited an hour for our food and received a confirmation email that our food was being prepared. After waiting outside the building for 20 minutes I emailed Postmates and they basically said sorry won't happen again and updated the arrival time to an hour later. Then, after I emailed them demanding a refund and saying this was unacceptable, they cancelled my order and all they would offer was a $3 credit. I am beyond furious. Never again!

WORST EVER!

I used Postmates to deliver my Dad's Father's day gift to him and it never arrived. Worst yet, the driver kept the gift for herself. When I wrote to them they brushed it off saying that the delivery had been canceled while on route which is not true. I will never use this service again and would recommend that nobody does.

The first time I used it my delivery person was walking around the city on foot and was visibly intoxicated while she was making the delivery. I decided to give it a second chance and they next time I ordered delivery, the delivery person did not come to the correct address and I was charged for a delivery that never reached me. The customer service people refused to reimburse the charge because they insisted he was at the address, even though I was outside my front door and never saw him.

You should be able to give 0 stars. It seems that this company is more frequently having issues due to incorrect menus listed on their site. Most recently I had ordered 6 meals from a restaurant and only 2 orders came, 3 were missing completely and 1 was incorrect. While I have the original order on my app Postmates refuses to fix the issue and only issue a partial refund. Driver had originally stated he was confused on how to place the order, yet never tried to call me to clarify (even though it was a straight forward order). After receiving the items I immediately told driver the order was completely wrong and missing items. Driver couldn't do anything and told me I had to go through the app. It has been 2 days of going back and forth with Postmates through email as they do not give you a phone number, and will only issue a partial refund making me still pay for items I did not receive. Will not be using this service again. Terrible customer service on all ends.

Price Gougers!

It was the first time using the service. I placed an order for 2 pizzas, which were priced at $27.50 + tax + $5.99 delivery fee, which was fine. I ended up paying $49.00+! They are price gougers! Never use this service. They dont have a customer service PHONE number, just email and the responses are generic and really dont answer your question. Stay away! I do have to mention, my driver was wonderful. She went a step above and also included paper plates and utensils. She should get a job with Uber Eats, now that is a service that has their stuff together!

AWFUL

When I started using Postmates I absolutely loved it. I rarely had issues and when I did the customer service was excellent.

Lately, my experiences have been less than pleasant. Today the restaurant did not have half of my order. I was told I had 10 minutes to change my order. I tried changing it immediately and they said my Postmate had already left! What?! I try to cancel my order and they say they will not only charge me for the available items, but for everything I tried to order. He the. Arrives with half of my order because he didn't want to wait. So, I contact customer service and all they do is refund me for the missing items.

AND I paid for yearly Unlimited which I was told I could "cancel anytime" but when I tried to cancel they said I would not receive a refund. Liars.

Postmates would not refund the cost of food that was ordered and charged but never delivered. I was charged the full price of my meal without ever receiving the meal... I reached out to customer service and told me they won't provide a refund.

They do not care! Used them twice, and both orders were wrong! Wrote an email to them after each order, and they sent a response that you can get at the grocery store check out line ' HAVE A NICE DAY!' I would not use them!

Ten minutes after our order was due to arrive we got a notice that it wasn't coming. Nobody to deliver it, they said. They offered a delivery credit which is rich as we were already trying to use a delivery credit. We wanted dinner, not more credit. Too busy? Not enough drivers at dinner time? Really? Pass.

Postmates would not refund the cost of food that was ordered and charged but not delivered. They failed to follow up with the restaurant and were only prepared to refund part of their delivery fee. The brand has flimsy standing and will eventually fail once people realize that they are not able to deliver what people actually order.
