I have only been with Poshmark for 3 months and have already had 5 orders cancelled for questionable reasons and had a buyer lie that the very expensive shoes i sent her were fake. I complained to Poshmark right away that she was trying to scam me, they did nothing, other then to rule in her favor! Ignorant, they are 100% authentic, I am expecting to get fake shoes back if I get anything at all and they refunded the buyer. My plan is to send the item and a letter from my lawyer to corporate if my exact shoes are not sent back, and in the condition they were shipped out in. Extremely irresponsible way for a company to do business, I have five star reviews and have been a consistent shopper/seller, the buyer has no backround and is shady, yet none of this is looked at? Awful.
Placed one order on Nov 27... Dec 7 still not shipped and seller will not respond. Requesting refund. Nov 29 placed another order. The very next day Poshmark cancelled. Placed a 3rd on Nov 30. Still waiting on that is one. You can only place a post to the seller which my experience was ignored. I looked all over for a phone number to actually talk to someone. But only get links to email... I will never use again
Do not give them any high end items.
They keep it under the guys of being not real
And ask you for 200$ to get it back
It's a total scam!
They only redo d to email which is a total scam! Do not use this website!
The whole return process is a total hassle. I ordered pants marked large but were not true to size. I sent pictures where the pants were at my waist but over my feet. They ask for more pictures. Do not do business with this company it's unethical!
I've tried to purchase four items on Poshmark. Three of the four orders eventually were cancelled because the items were fake. Poshmark does not police their stores well. Most of the items on Poshmark are fakes. I'd avoid them at all costs!
This company is awful to deal with and will not give a refund on a product that was not as advertised. I do not blame the seller that the size was wrong and seller agreed to my return. But poshmark was flip about it and said no refunds if the items doesn't fit and that I could donate it or sell it on poshmark... Lesson learned I would never sell or buy again through this company again. Bad Business model. I will never use this site again. Please beware and read their fine print.
I sold a pair of authentic shoes on Poshmark bought directly from the brand's monostore- customer said she is purchasing for her wedding in April on the message- she sent the item back 6 months later to poshmark saying this is fake- poshmark sided with the customer, refunded her and debited my account on the basis of ungrounded accusation- would not trust to buy or sell
Woman with the above username bought my item, and filed a misrepresentation case. I am currently awaiting to settle a dispute. I had taken excessive pictures of the item on my phone. I did not even know that you could deny a return. Poshmark accepted her case. When she returned the dress which was completely new, I found that asgutierrez10 had made rips in the dress, which I suspect is how she got the item returned. I am awaiting to hear the case currently, but seller beware.
Purchased some cute pink sneakers as a size 8 from kilma1. They arrived marked as a size 8. But, in actuality they had to be a 9+ with a very wide toe box. There was no effort by Poshmark to rectify the situation or make good the transaction. It was just "screw the customer".
That's a business philosophy to stay away from. This is fair warning.
Shopping on poshmark is horrible. The way you have to communicate is awkward. Sellers rarely respond. Often items are sold and never shipped. The format/layout is a pain. Search portion of the site is useless.
I made several attempts to contact customer support without success. I received a standard email without follow up or resolve. I would not recommend shopping on this website until this company improves its customer service.
I don't remember joining a Poshmark club. $107.90 was deducted from my Pay Pal account from Poshmark. I could not contact Poshmark no way, no how. I contacted Pay Pal and they told me Poshmark withdrew the payment for some membership or something. I immediately blocked Poshmark from my Pay Pal. If they are a good outfit, they should have a much better communication method with their customers. It looks like I was victimized out of $107.90
The idea of the website is fun, but the end result is a waste of time. The selling fees are ludicrous. The designer bags are overpriced, if I'm going to spend the kind of money these sellers are looking for I'll stick with Fashionphile or eBay and get a better deal. Any decent clothing is way over priced, again I've done 100x better on eBay. Most of the closets I've looked through are filled with mediocre crap I'd just throw away or donate. I honestly don't understand how anyone sells anything on there. All people wanna do is trade with you, or low ball you. I currently have a few items posted. I'm probably gonna just remove my items from the website at the end of this week. There seems to be a lot of scammers on Poshmark and little to no moderators, which makes me nervous. It seems extremely easy for a scammer to get away with anything on there, on both the selling or buying side.
I began to buy a fair amount of merchandise on Poshmark. It slowly occurred to me that the clothes were severely used, smelly, stained and yes broken. Three pairs of shoes snapped apart and the coach sandals split apart twice. I do thrift stores a lot and you would n't see these items in these conditions sold there.
Worse they to put other clothes on my account that I never ordered. Somehow the sellars got the go ahead to sell to me. I wear a large and I know have a closet full of small clothing I did not want.
They still owe me for two items. I have reported them to my bank since the charging was wrong. I have wlth held so much money. Poshmark had the nerve to tell me my account was suspended. I told them I beat them to it! Haven't heard anything since. RIP OFF! BUYER BEWARE!
Ordered item and after 6 days, it still hasn't been shipped, but without explanation. Have contacted Customer Service twice -- once via online form, once via email. NO RESPONSE. They don't let you contact them by telephone and they ignore written inquiries. NEVER will shop there again!
First of all, how can a place have no return policy?
I bought a pair of jeans which were A. Not the size listed. They didn't have a size tag, but I could pull them off without unzipping. B. Stunk to high heaven of cigarettes.
I email Poshmark. It takes them forever to answer and then they want me to take pictures. How do I photograph a smell?
I told them to just pay the vendor and I would throw the pants in the garbage. What else can I do?
I will never shop there again and I urge everyone to stay far, far away.
I've bought 8 things on poshmark and only got 4. The 4 I bought and never got because the sellers never even responded to me. Very disappointing to purchase something you want that is for sale and then nothing. No response... what is the point of this website. To take 19% of your sale but no one is held accountable for making sure customers get there items and with no reprimand to the seller. F*** these guys I'm done. Ready for the next app
I can't understand all the complaining up here. Yes, PM takes a 20% commission and yes, the mandatory shipping is usually $5.95 per item, but that's all very clear when you sign up. I've bought and sold several items through PM with no problems that you wouldn't see selling elsewhere too (I'm an eBay seller as well). So if you don't like the commissions and shipping costs, don't use the service. If you order something and it's not shipped with the mandatory week, cancel the order and move on with your life. It's not the end of the world. Shipped something and the buyer claims you sent the wrong thing? Try to work it out through the dispute process and if you can't, again, move on. It's not like people are selling $10,000 cars up here. If these kind of things bother you that bad, maybe online selling isn't for you. Anyway, my PM experience has been good and I intend to keep using the service with the understanding that nothing is perfect, including the people who work for PM.
I made four purchases on Poshmark & I will NEVER shop there again. First was a hand bag that smelled as if an entire bottle of perfume had been spilled in it so it was not usable for a year or so. Second was a shirt that was too small & the seller told me after I bought it, that she knew it ran small. Third was a jacket that the seller took the label out of so I could not see that it was 3 or 4 sizes smaller than what she advertised. Fourth was a pendant that was fine. So, 1 purchase out of 4 was ok. This is why their score is pathetically low.
I placed an order I received it and it was not what I thought I was ordering. I took pictures of the item I purchased and sent it into Poshmark saying I wanted a refund. They sent me an email back saying they excepted my refund. But I still have not received my refund. I sent an email asking, where my refund is. I get an email back saying they can't find an order with my email. So I sent them my whole order. It's not much money but that's not the point. This site is a scam in my opinion. I'll never order again and will never recommend them. I'll stick to Amazon who has wonderful customer service.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
