I tried to sell kids' branded clothes, never worn, like Ralph Lauren. I simply wanted to sell it at little price so others can enjoy it but Poshmark immediately removed it and notified me that I'm not allowed to sell counterfeit items. Without any checks they just PRESUME that someone tries to sell counterfeit. Shame. I feel offended. I will never sell or buy on that website. Lazy procedures just so they can say they quarantine no counterfeit.
I have bought two freezer mugs both were damaged. Trying to get a refund is not been met with customer in mind. Sent photos but still have not received a response from the company.
Disappointed in the product and the lack of customer Service.
I was directed to Poshmark, from Google, when I was searching for a certain item. I placed my order and asked a question from the seller. After 3 days, when I received no response, I checked back, and I noticed that the listings don't exist anymore. I contacted the so called customer service, and I never received any response (other than the automated response message). It was my first, and certainly my last time to even brows this scam oriented website.
So please be careful.
Never received my order. There's no way to contact the seller directly or to leave a feesback of shopping experience on the site. Customer service gives you totally useless advises. If I ever getting my money back is yet to be determined. Never again
After reading other reviews, I felt really bad about my order. I was going to wait till Monday to send them e-mail to follow up with the case. Last night, I checked my e-mail and found they approved the case and sent me a return label. The case for review took 4 days. At this point, I felt so much better. I did not get any angry messages from seller either. The label was printed and order was sent back today. One reviewer said is correct, if the products are used, sellers should not use the NWT and try to cheat. So far I had 3 buying experiences and 1 selling experience from this site. Not sure if I should keep buying from here.
I have both selling and buying experiences on Poshmark. Overall, the selling and buying transactions were OK until last week. I ordered the designer sunglasses from a seller, the seller identified this sunglasses as new, never worn. Once I received the sunglasses, I realized that the sunglasses is used. I see scratches on Both legs and scratches on the lenses. I contacted the customer service and filed the report and requested to return. The next day, got e-mail from customer service, asking me to turn in more photos, same thing just like the other reviewer mentioned. I turned in 7 more pictures and waiting for the answer. From the other reviewers information, probably they will refuse to return. I will put more reviews once I hear from them.
I ordered for the first time today to have my product cancelled because the seller said the product was "too low! Sorry." Poshmark removed my money and said I won't get it back for 10-15 business days. There is also no customer service number so you will have to file a claim with your bank. Also do not buy from shopper dodobird2. She's an awful seller. She finds it amusing to insult her customers for her mistakes. She literally harassed me because I wanted my money back. Stay away from this site.
I was a new Poshmark buyer and purchased boots that were labeled in the listing as a size 7 and once received the tag said size 6.5 and obviously too small. In addition the buyer showed the tag with a price of $80 but on the flip side it showed they were purchased for $30. Emailed Poshmark twice as well as the buyer. No response. The site is a scam.
I purchased two pairs GUCCI shoes on Poshmark. In both case the sellers misrepresented the shoes, describing as very good condition. They came with a heavy yellow discoloration and extremely filthy, Poshmark is not evn trying to help or support the buyers. Trashy shoes will be donated to charity, money lost. Terrible experience. NEVER EVER Poshmark!
I have had great experiences with poshmark so far. However, I have limited myself to buying accessories and a light trench coat. I personally wouldn't buy any clothes or shoes unless I have tried on the item beforehand, and I already own London Fog coats. They are usually true to size.
It seems like a lot of people have been ticked off because the clothes or shoes have run small (surprise, surprise dealing with designer items). Honestly, use common sense when buying stuff through a third party and not a department store. It is simply the chance you take when buying from an individual (think craigslist).
Also, I like the "make an offer" option. I got the London Fog coat at $40 when the seller originally asked $75. Make sure to see a lot of pictures of the item: front, back, and sides. Ask the seller any questions that they haven't addressed... Any flaws? When can you ship? Is this from a smoke-free home?
Purchased an item that was misrepresented. I thought that Poshmark's escrow service would step in once I submitted the evidence of obvious fraud and they told me the item was as described and gave the money to the crook! They are aiding and abetting people who are selling fake items on the site. GO ELSEWHERE!
Unless you consider getting ripped off part of the bargain avoid poshmark like the plague!
Waited 10 days for seller to send my purchase or even acknowledge me. Sent a request to customer service who contacted me with a generic cancel if you wish. I stated how looking at other purchases from said seller who is consistently bad and no comment or action from customer service only for me to cancel my purchase. What! If I didn't find some cute things I would NEVER shop here! Oh and seller never even apologized!
Bought four items from seller " timetopawssc" Seller never shipped the items. After 30 days Poshmark automatically cancels listings that have not completed. Going through this sellers reviews I find a number of similar comments from buyers regarding the non shipment of purchased items. Check closed sales for comments/feedback for sellers before you buy. Poshmark took no action to correct this problem.
Would give Zero Stars, but wouldn't accept Zero. I sold a vintage Grateful Dead T-Shirt on Nov 10,2022 using a printed Poshmark shipping label. I personally dropped off at my local Post office and received tracking confirmation. On checking my Poshmark account there was a notice that my sale was cancelled. When I inquired as to why it was cancelled I received the following email: "Thanks for your email. It looks like your cancelled sale is a counterfeit item. Please note that selling replica/inspired items is against our policy, as well as Federal Law. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any additional assistance. We appreciate your understanding." I then contacted the Buyer and his response was "That's not what I said. It just never arrived." So Poshmark is using the counterfeit excuse to prevent reimbursing me for an an item that was lost using their shipping label
In an attempt to buy a certain Nike shoe, I tried buying them on Poshmark but all of the sellers told me their posts were fake and they don't have the items for sale. What is the point of this website if they don't regulate sellers. What a waste of time to use this site.
I had two orders I placed and paid for with a seller. I waited and waited for days for her to ship them all the while attempting to ask her what was going on. Now today I get notifications (and my money refunded luckily) that my orders have been cancelled because the seller "changed her mind". According to their rules, this isn't even an option. I am absolutely livid and I think Poshmark is a piece of garbage.
Now I can't cancel my account because of rules that don't apply to me!
I bought sneakers and they where advertised as a 9. They turned out to be a 8. When I tried to call Poshmark they have no customer service phone number. They did respond with an email and gave me a long list of what I would have to do to try and get my money back. Would never use this company again!
Their fees are outrageous. More than even bigger sites that get more sales. Insane. I would stearate clear of this site. With the high fees you won't make much plus as buyers high fees means over priced items.
Avoid
This site has zero support for buyers. Seller can sell you dirty smelly items with no penalties. They can also deiced to just change their mind and not sell what you have bought. The "customer service" is a joke. I filed a case because I bought something with an awful smell ( cigarettes) they kept asking me to provide a picture of the damage. Another dress I bought came dirty and they continued to ask me for pictures. I have sent them several. They advised me to resell my dirt dress and my smelly dress to someone else. Don't wast your time or money on this site.
This site has absolutely nothing "posh". They should change their name to Slimemark. I worked for a luxury brand for 15+ years and am well aware of their products. When I would see I fake or counterfeit piece, I would do my due diligence and report it to Slimemark. They, being nothing but slimy and greedy, would do nothing. People work hard for their money and are thrilled to buy something they might not otherwise be able to afford. To spend it on fake merchandise is shameful. It's a great place to go if you're selling crap counterfeit stuff. If you have good quality, legit products, I'd sell elsewhere.
I have been using Poshmark for a couple months now and have both sold and purchased items using the site. If you market your stuff well, they're almost sure to sell. Same with buying. I only buy from poshers who I see have good reviews, and I love everything I've gotten! I did have one seller not ship my item. Poshmark emailed me after a week or two and offered me a full refund. Overall, I say this is a great website/app for buying and selling clothing.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
