Never received my order. There's no way to contact the seller directly or to leave a feesback of shopping experience on the site. Customer service gives you totally useless advises. If I ever getting my money back is yet to be determined. Never again
I have bought and sold many items on Posh. I LOVED it. Then one day a lady buys my listing for a brand new pair of shoes. The listing had pictures of the shoes and the box, the box stated the brand and the size in men's Eur etc. The listing was under Vans for exposure, which I clearly stated in the description and said the true brand (even though the pictures showed it CLEARLY). I also had the listing under size 8.5, the box says 6, which I assumed was men size but I'm a girl and size 8 and these were a tad bit big-- also the box said Eur 38.5, so an 8, but again they were big on me so listed as 8.5. I wrote in the description that they were an 8.5 or 8. This lady complains FIRST that they were the wrong size, I emailed Posh back stating that they were not and showed pictures of my listing to prove it, didn't hear anything back. The next day I get an email that she sent ANOTHER complaint that they were not vans. I sent Posh an email back stating that I provided clear pics and wrote clearly that they were not Vans but similar, heard nothing back. I then sent a strongly worded email explaining why I was pissed and they just replied "we approved the case because you misrepresented the size." WHAT. No I did not, I replied explaining how that was total BS and still haven't heard back. Got 2 emails since though explaining that the shoes were being sent back to me and the money has been taken out of my account. Side note- when I sent a complaint about a purchase I made because I ordered a size S she sent me a size L and another item was damaged, they offered me $15 to just keep the items and not have them go through the hassle of them dealing with me sending them back... So ridiculous I do not trust them with my items anymore.
I never buy anything due to the amount of scammers; however, even as a seller I was scammed on my first sell. I posted a picture of a brand new sweater that I happened to never wear. When I shipped everything I even included some extra goodies. She ended up filing a complaint stating I had makeup stains and ripped the sweater! She won the case and I got back a sweater with makeup stains of a shade that was five shades lighter than my complexion as well as those tears she mentioned in her complaint, oh and I never got back the extra items I included. I didn't even bother trying to contact poshmark again because they were very slow in replying and were no help.
Use PUJNW to get a 5 dollar credit when you sign up. Posh has its ups and downs. It's mostly ups. I think I have only had a problem once but they were very good with helping me out. You just have to be careful with customers and the things you buy and sell
I am new to poshmark, this summer home from college wanting to sell some of my things that I never wear. My local platos closet barely offers any money at all, so I figured I would try and use poshmark. Overall, I don't think it's worth it. The only thing that is in high demand for the shoppers of poshmark are discounted lulu lemon leggings. And that's it. One time I sold a pair of leggings, and they got returned because they said I lied about the color. I didn't, so I reached out to customer service SEVERAL TIMES and they NEVER got back to me. EVER. They do not have a phone number purposely, so you can't reach out to them with problems. It's all through email, but they barely reply to them. Overall, it's also an inconvenience to go to the post office and print out shipping labels for every sell. If you're in desperate need for money I would use poshmark but if not I would avoid it.
Great at first. However when you start selling more you are in the way of people who work at corporate and have their own closets.
Or someone bribes them to shut you off. Then they suspend your account for no reason. They erase all listings that took you many hours to put up. Cancel payments of items you have shipped.
All the time you spent on creating followers is gone. You lose time and money. Their customer support is non-existent and so is their morals. Corporate employees and their friends use the computer system to add hundreds of thousands of followers and gain advantage through insider information.
When they don't like you they just shut you down. Do yourself a favor and sell on ebay.
Poshmark has no place in America. It's a shame the justice system hasn't looked into this fraudulent company.
I made my first purchase on Poshmark for a $600 pair of Chanel sunglasses. After paypal them, someone named Melanie emailed me to sreenshot my bank statement with my full name and address to verify the authorization.
I talked to Paypal. They adviced me not to give my bank info to Poshmark and opened a dispute for me.
Then I tried to contact the seller to tell her what was happenning and the seller already blocked me.
Poshmark is not a trust worthy!
I've made nearly $100 in the past month selling old clothes out my closet! It's extremely convenient to sell because of the flat rate shipping labels that you can simply print out at your house so no trips to the post office or waiting in the long lines :) you can also have free boxes delivered and schedule pick ups for your outgoing packages through usps right at home! I've contacted poshmark support because a package i sold was lost and they were very helpful and responded to my and the buyer quickly and refunded her and I still received my payment as part of the protection they provide their users! I've purchased several things from posh and the other sellers are always helpful and quick to ship items in my experience (: Join me on Poshmark! Poshmark takes no responsibility for the actions of their sellers. Over the last month any purchases I have made have taken up to two weeks to ship. The *******@ganileys actually blocked me after I asked if she had shipped my item. A few months ago I was having great luck with the site, but over the last few months each purchase has taken longer and longer to ship with each seller. Once I get everything straight with my final two orders I will be deleting this app and only using Mercari.
U want to get designer for the lowest price shop here and buy the replicas of any authentic item u really deserve
If I could of rated 0 I would. There customer service is a joke! Rude! I sold the item and the buyer didn't like it so she sent it back to me. And when I opened the box it wasn't in original packaging/gift bag. It was just throwned the box! I contacted poshmark 5 times saying that I understand the buyer didn't like the item but should have sent it back the same way she received it in original packaging and all. There answer was "We Can't help you don't contact us"! Are you serious. I'm going to resolved this problem one way or another.
Bought a bracelet, and the pictures made it look like the stones were much bigger than they really are. I contacted customer service and they wouldn't refund me. They said I should have asked for exact measurements before ordering. I wouldn't order from them again, because I never had customer service be of such little assistance before.
I am a high-rated seller through posh with over 2000 followers, 100 sales, and over $1000 worth of sales and Poshmark decided they wanted to restrict my account for something I was never aware of. Everyone on this site offers to sell cheaper on other websites because of their incredibly high fees and unjust profits they take out of your sales. Not knowing this was "against Posh policy" I did the same as everyone else. I NEVER received a warning (although they claimed I did) and wasn't even aware that this was a rule on Poshmark. Thus, they have restricted my account and made it HELL trying to get it back. They want me to send them a DRIVERS LICENSE with all my personal information just to have my account unrestricted...? Totally unrelated and unnecessary. Side note, if you try to contact them they either never respond to you or your issues don't get resolved until a MONTH later. I used to recommend this app to friends and followers of my blog but NEVER again. I'm now preaching to everyone I know to NEVER use this site and use Depop, Mercari, ANYTHING before Posh.
This website is full of scammers. There are sellers in this site buying wholesale cheap crap from
China and are selling for 95% up! Just to inform
You, if a seller has too many of the same listing in different sizes and various things, please know that they only paid $1 for the item. I have discovered the apps they use and figured out that's how they had so many listings. Many of them claim that their items are from a "boutique" or "handmade" please keep in mind there not. Beware! Never pay an expensive price for anyone who has a wholesale and listings of the same item.
I was a buyer on posh bought a coach wallet had a tiny hole they failed to do anything I'm assuming because the seller was making them a lot of loot. So I became a seller I have Chanel items, pink Victoria secret socks, shorts tees. And more I was selling my items very low to get buyers to start off so almost 2 months of selling I had 5 star ratings top seller about 100 listings made over 800$ but posh took 20% that is a lot but hey it was helping clean my closet so reading rules one of them is you can't sell replicas because it's disrespectful to the designers I've seen so many replicas omg I seen this one person selling a Chanel blanket for 300$ but seen it on ioffer for 27$ omg ok fine make some money but to burn someone for that much is not right so I reported it and they send there generated emails saying rest assure were on it thx for keeping posh safe blah blah so I kept seeing things I'm just a honest person I reported it and how does posh repay me they deleted my account for the following reasons you can't sell lotions or bath & bodyworks items I'm like that don't make sense so I did research on posh found people selling the same items but used so that's my story if anyone has money to spend on a fake Chanel item way over priced then this sight is for you. And know I'm not jealous of what so who ever leaves me a ignorant comment you can shouve it.
Out of the first 4 orders I placed, only 1 was actually ever fulfilled, and that was 3 weeks later. I eventually cancelled the other 3. What a waste.
Bought a brass purse and seller shipped it in a flimsy envelope with only tissue paper... no packing whatsover. Of course the post office bounced it around... now the clasp doesn't match up to the catch. Contacted Poshmark, sent pics... not good enough for them. They wanted detailed pics but the ones that I sent clearly show the problem. Done with them! What a farce! Don't buy from their site... they have no concept of the difference between a leather and a metal purse.
So, i am looking at these bags all over this site. Most of them are fakes. I love designer bags and I study how they are made. Some of the site's are ridiculous. Regular Joe's ( you can see their photo) claiming they have all this designer clothing they have never worn. Women who can afford a 100,000 dollars worth of authentic Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton are not sitting around selling on Postmark. Wake up! People actually buy these. Then you have people who have a couple of items of Louis or Chanel. Yet everything else they have sold is Aeropostle, J Crew, and Kate Spade. It just makes no sense! This website is totally fake... ridiculous claims. I am about to purchase a Louis and I am going to the store. I would rather spend that kind of money on the real thing instead of getting a fake!
I sell on this website but never bought and don't plan to. I use Poshmark along eBay to give my listings more exposure, in order to clear my inventory faster. I gave this platform several chances in the past, but sold absolutely nothing, and only had beggars, lowballs and trade requests. I gave it a chance again, and this time, I did make sales. I give extremely accurate detailed descriptions of my items including when I got it, why I don't want it, down to measurements of it to even listing the materials.
I had all 5 star reviews up until recently where one buyer gave me 3 stars and said the item isn't a medium, despite the tag on the pants saying Medium, AND I gave waist, hip, thigh and inseam measurements. She actually had the item for three weeks before she gave me this poor rating. She also said my description was poor, but when I went on her page, NONE of her 180 listings showed ANY sort of specific details on her items.
Another buyer purchased my item without contacting me in ANY way, but gave me a 2 star review saying my communication could've been better. What? While the star reviews aren't public, it's just disturbing and annoying that people say the dumbest things with absolutely no way to counter or defend myself.
Some buyers are the worst and they are consistently spiteful. I end up having to block and decline people all day. On top of that, 20% fee commission to Poshmark is outrageous, along with $6 shipping. Neither the buyer or seller are benefiting from this!
If you don't like the price of the item, make an offer. If you're declined, then forget it. Don't buy it. If you don't like that the seller doesn't offer detailed descriptions, just don't buy it. Read all descriptions carefully and ask questions. No response from seller? Don't buy it. This advice could save so much trouble.
Once I'm done selling all my unwanted stuff, I would never use this platform again. I rather use eBay because at least people there READ descriptions before purchasing. And I have 100s of transactions on eBay with not a single neutral or negative feedback. I can't believe Poshmark allows a buyer to leave a bad rating over something that was their own fault.
Did you ever see that gif where it shows the most annoying things on the Internet? Well a top pick was when you start getting a dump load of stupid emails from a site you barely ever use-the kicker being that to opt out of every email type completely, you have to sign into your account. By this point you probably don't remember your screen name or password, or they forced you to make a password with certain specs like a number and a symbol. So those of us who keep the same, simple password for garbage sites like this can't remember after multiple login attempts. They also have a genius capcha system where you have to look through photos to find ones that have a similar theme. This is every time you mess up your password or username. After attempt 5 you just give up and hope the opt out choice at the bottom of their last email worked for all types of emails. Which it does not. It's truly ironic though; this variety of imbecile marketing usually backfires as customers like me become so infuriated with the system altogether that they just want to delete the entire site out of their lives. This is where I'm at right now.
Oh also: the 12 year old dumb asses who sell their wrinkly old "designer" trash dresses think that a name brand means they're gonna get paid. I don't care what brand the item is, if it looks like you wore it to a college frat party and probably tried to scrub the cum stains out of it, I ain't buyin it. DONE.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
