Horrible... absolutely horrible. I placed an order and heard nothing for almost two weeks. Finally, I cancelled it and it says oh it has already shipped. Would have thought I would have had within a week since it already shipped. We'll now I'm on vacation and supposedly it just got there and I'm suppose to ship it back within 48. I'm livid because now I'm getting screwed over and have to change my schedule around just to meet with them. It shouldn't have taken this long for this item. This is an absolutely ridiculous app for clothes... don't expect your stuff on time, don't expect them to work with you, don't expect good service, and don't expect to get your money's worth. Atleast with wish (another buying app) I could send it back on my schedule, but no this app doesn't care to understand... they only care about getting their money or $#*! back.
This site is very unfair to sellers - they take a huge percentage and buyers can return items no matter what the reason. Had someone buy a suit from me and then return it as not being accurate according to the listing when she admitted in a message to me that she had ordered the suit by mistake - totally unfair! There are much better sites out there - stay away!
This is such a dysfunctional and unorganized site. They do not keep any control over their sellers. I ordered an item that never shipped even though I tried contacting the seller several times. She had many excuses, and said the item would ship "the next day" but never did. They do not have a way to rate the sellers so you never know if you are dealing with a good seller. Stick to ebay! This site sucks!

I just started selling on the site a couple weeks ago and most of the buyers where great. I had quite a few name brand purses some of which where just like new. I had a buyer claim that I sent her a damaged Patricia Nash purse which is not true. Poshmark only responded to me with automated emails. I ask to see the photos of the damage because I know the hardware, which she claimed, was damaged was not. I even submitted all my photos where you can clearly see no damage to the hardware... still nothing. Then yesterday I get an email that tells me they are refunding her money because she proved her claim and there was damage. So now I am waiting to see what exactly I am getting back... since my purse was hardly used. If your thinking of trying this site BEWARE! I am currently waiting on the remaining money to clear and once it does I will be deleting my info and the app.
Update---I had to give them a star which if given the choice they would get no stars... this is an update to my original review. So I reviewed them on their customer service And on their response to the damage the buyer claimed to my Patricia Nash purse... so got the purse back and she pried off one of my studs. Why you ask? So do I all I got back was the back of the stud which u could clearly see she had pried off the beautiful brass stud from the front of my purse. But again Poshmark sided with her then had the audacity to offer me $10 for my troubles... seriously? I sold this purse lower but that doesn't change the value... again I do not Like people who have no moral compass and that would be this buyer. But the worst is Poshmark's stance... let me just say that any good name brand selling site needs sellers. No good seller will put up with this and that would be why Poshmark is full and I mean FULL of fraudulent products. BUYER BEWARE... SELLERS BEWARE!
The pants I ordered via Poshmark arrived with holes in them (this was not mentioned in the item description). My process of dealing with their glitchy website as well as dealing with their customer service in trying to get a refund has been insanely frustrating. No phone service; you must communicate via email and it took 2-3 days for them to respond to me. After receiving 2 generic cut-and-pasted responses from them that did not fully apply to my situation (ultimately saying that they were not going to return my money), they finally returned my $56 after my 3rd dispute. It felt like they were just putting off my case with the hopes that I'd let it go so that they could make more money; it all seemed sloppy and dishonest. The only reason I gave 2 stars vs 1 is because they did ultimately refund my money, but I don't plan to use this site again.
I just decided to empty my "Poshmark Closet"! My husband just purchased this gorgeous dress for me on Poshmark. This purchase was based on the answers given by the Seller to other Poshers. Why would we pay $71 for a dress if I knew that the info she gave me was incorrect or false. After 3 days of sending pictures and going through this case (which was probably a pacifier anyway) they gave me a $5.00 credit! What an insult! It does not even cover the shipping I paid for it! (which is $6.49). This is the 2nd time that I opened a case...(I rarely complain). I have been with Poshmark now for about a year and I am totally done. I have received dirty clothing in the past and I could clearly smell that the seller had worn it and just tossed it in a box to ship out. Gross!
I have noticed a lot of bullying and shaming of others! Misleading comments, sellers suggesting to others to just check the "never received order/item". So that buyer and seller get their money back! (seriously?) I have noticed people left and right offering to sell through PayPal or other sites thus not to have to pay the 20%.
I can now understand the 20% is ridiculously high if there is no buyer protection or a decent seller protection. Because of another case I have noticed that Poshmark tends to take sides. (NOT ETHICAL). They allow all kinds of %^&* if the seller is constantly making money for them.
Yes Yes! Poshmark is doing great! They always get 20% of the sell.
So... I am now stuck with a gorgeous Sherri Hill (valued at $450) dress that can not even be altered and the seller just tossed it in a plastic bag and glued a shipping label on it. I rather donate my clothes or give it away than ever paying another 20% to Poshmark. Never ever again. Removing this app off my phone as soon as my recent orders have arrived! Buyers BEWARE! They really do not care!
Oh... I added this because I just realized...
Watch out while on the app. While swiping to watch all the items go by it is sooooo very easy to accidentally purchase an item!
PROS:
I've scored some unbelievable deals on legitimate designer items.
Easy site to search.
Bundling and making offers is easy
CONS:
Poshmark does allow the sale of fakes.
If a seller is a scammer, abandons their store/does not ship, there is no system to kick them off like ebay.
Their case review system is random at best. It sucks for buyers and sellers.
No communication other than a very slow email with corporate or cs specialist. No other way to communicate with sellers/buyers other than public posts.
Poshmark is the epitome of a terrible business-mostly for sellers. They let people return items simply because they weren't what they wanted or something and poshmark hardly takes into account the fact that this is not the sellers problem and that furthermore, returning an item that isn't even damaged is ok. I recently had a buyer that reported that 2 of the items were broken when they got to her but this couldn't be more untrue. She even stated herself in the comments that she had broken one of the Bracelets herself and the other was not even broken, just cracked (which she should have been able to see in the original ad and photos). I did not send damaged items or even items that were different from their listing. This is an unfair case of the buyer trying to return something simply because it's not what they expected. I have heard from many users that Poshmark unfairly accepts returns from buyers who do not have a legitimate reason and now I've experienced it firsthand. Absolute $#*! customer service and complete disregard of the business ethics they claim to follow. So honestly $#*! YOU POSHMARK. 0/10 would reccomend
Not working well for me yet as seller although it is very easy to get a lot of followers. Seems more people are trying to sell than folks want to buy on Poshmark. High Shipping cost and 20% commission to poshmark makes buyers think twice about shopping here.
OverThree months ago I ordered leggings and never received them. I have been waiting for 2months for a refund but they say the usps insurance dept is handleing the claim now and that is all they know. They have not offered a credit or to resend the product or even an apology. Bad Business men.
There was a pair of jeans advertised incorrectly. Once I recieved them and realized that I was deceived I disputed it. They requested pictures and thst didn't work. They denied my claim. This sight sucks! I gave it a 1 one because it made me rate it!
Has anyone ever listed a item top sell on poshmark and been asked to go through emailing, personal check, and local pick up to do it? This had happened to me twice now and it's making me very nervous.
I was trying to find a specific Handbag for my wife for Xmas who had hers stolen. Found it on Poshmark for a reasonable price. Bought it for her in November. Mid December, I finally get an email from the seller - It is no longer available! She probably sold it to one of her friends or something! So I try again in June for my wife's birthday on July 8th. Do a google search for the style/ brand of handbag. Once again, only place I find it is Pissmark. I order it and wait. Hear nothing. It's the day before her birthday and I still hear nothing. No confirmation of order, no tracking number, nothing. I hit the seller up on her Facebook-like page asking where the bag is and if she even got my order on July 4th. It's the 9th now and still no response. This site needs a way to contact their sellers OTHER THAN THEIR BULL$#*! SOCIAL MEDIA INTERFACE. If the seller doesn't check it, they don't know to contact their buyers. Really $#*!ty way to do business.
I Have **WANTED** To Buy some Items--Oddly The "Sellers'' I Use that term Loosely--REFUSE/Wont Answer Questions? Post One Pic--NOT even saying if its New Or Used--I Have Not Heard from NUMEROUS SELLERS--That ONLY Leads Me To Believe What is the Actual Condition of this item? Its Actually QUITE FUNNY! Poshmark How do you stay in Business? Start Charging to List SO MAYBE Sellers will Answer a Question and God Forbid SELL AN ITEM!
I've had a couple of great transactions and a couple to be desired. Essentially, there is no quality control. You can buy something that isn't actually still available because people don't delete their sold items. The biggest complaint is getting an item that isn't remotely as advertised, I. E. in poor condition. It's just annoying from a site referring to itself as "posh mark". And why the hell are people allowed to sell crap from old navy?
I've purchased 5 or six things in the past month. For the most part the experience has been positive. I've had one bid accepted but merchandise never shipped; refund was made promptly although I was disappointed not to get the item I thought I bought. Another item was refunded right after a bid acceptance and payment. I don't know why this system is much more loosey-goosey than Ebay, but you do have a chance to get high-end merchandise at really good prices. My other experiences are positive and went without a hitch. All in all I will continue to use this site as there are item I can't get elsewhere. So far I haven't had any disasters. LOL
Same situation happen to me and they don't have a phone number that actually works. It's constantly busy and only do e-mails. They are nothing but white trash thieves!
I purchased one of her Revamp Productions Handbags for the price listed for the item ($200). She cancelled my order and said I owed her $200 more, finally she said she would sell it for $250, but then she would not honor this either and blocked me from any further comments. If this was a store the Attorney General would be looking into this business!
I purchased a Consuela purse from a person out of San Marcos Tx for my wife's birthday advertised in posh mark very recently I accidentally responded to overall rating and deleted my e-mail before my wife saw the tote. It is a brand new tote, buit too big and the color was not a white color as seen on photo advertised. I need to return it but have no way to contact the seller nor a way to let poshmark or e-bay know that it was not what she wants. I have tried to find the original post where it would be posted as sold and can not find that. Any suggestionsTIA.
I purchased a pair of jeans on poshmark and when i recieved them they were way to big. I contacted the seller and they were more than happy to issue me a refund however poshmark says all sales are final and recommends i sell the jeans or give them away for free. I cannot get a refund. This to me seems very wrong.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
