About 2 months ago I started shopping and for a pair of sneakers that come out over a 2 years ago. I came across this site that had my exact size and was brand new! I should've known it was too good to be true, but my first reaction was to buy them before someone else did. So I made an account and brought them! 3 days later I started checking for the shipping information, nothing! I tried contacting the seller, again nothing. Then I tried contacting the site, also nothing! I brought sneakers from resellers all the time, this was an eye opener!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON HERE!
I've bought several items from Poshmark & am thrilled with the experience!
Quick Shipping & Great Deals!
Will buy from Poshmark over & over again!
Don't. Do not buy from this site. I have purchased a cross body over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. However, my card has been charged! I can't even get the seller to respond to messages. Stay away..
I have bought and sold on this site. 90% positive on the buy side. On the sell side... people have A LOT to complain about paying $10 for a sweater thats been worn once. Ridiculous. Beware giving people a platform to complain
I have purchased 3 things off Poshmark, and only received 2. The 1 I didn't receive was a horrible experience and luckily this wasn't my first purchase or I never would have bought anything else in this app. *******@katapillars was late shipping the item 1 week after the purchase but confirmed in the Poshmark app that it would go out soon. Instead the next day she cancels the order, blocks me, and relists at a higher price. Mind you, I didn't even make an offer on the item -- it was purchased at full price and had already waited over a week for it to ship without any complaints. I do not recommend this seller!
This site has absolutely nothing "posh". They should change their name to Slimemark. I worked for a luxury brand for 15+ years and am well aware of their products. When I would see I fake or counterfeit piece, I would do my due diligence and report it to Slimemark. They, being nothing but slimy and greedy, would do nothing. People work hard for their money and are thrilled to buy something they might not otherwise be able to afford. To spend it on fake merchandise is shameful. It's a great place to go if you're selling crap counterfeit stuff. If you have good quality, legit products, I'd sell elsewhere.
I've bought 8 things on poshmark and only got 4. The 4 I bought and never got because the sellers never even responded to me. Very disappointing to purchase something you want that is for sale and then nothing. No response... what is the point of this website. To take 19% of your sale but no one is held accountable for making sure customers get there items and with no reprimand to the seller. F*** these guys I'm done. Ready for the next app
There is such a lure to the site with discounted labels and hard to find items. Unfortunately the lure ends there. Have purchased three items on their site now and each one has ended in a nightmare. 1. Sellers are slow to ship 2. The quality of your item is usually not as stated 3. Trying to get a refund or return is a mess. 4. It is very easy for a seller to accept your money then cancel your order and sell it to someone else. Poshmark has serious things to do to reign in their rogue sellers (there are a lot). If I wanted to misrepresent items and cheat people as a seller, I'd sign up for Poshmark and sell here. I've never had a positive transaction as a buyer here. Navigating their customer service is horrific. Also, sellers are terrible at communication and can block you. There is no seller accountability.
Finally, most items for sale are vastly overpriced.
I have been selling on PM for years and never had an issue until one scammer decided to try and scam me. I shipped out her dress in perfect condition and even had video to prove it. She filed a claim the following day after she received it so she used the dress that friday night got it dirty then filed a claim. I even emailed poshmark my supporting evidence and they still refunded her. She sent me an empty box. So now I'm out of my money & my item. This is bullsht. Apparently you can buy anything oh poshmark file a claim and send back an empty box keep the item & money.
I recently sold a bundle on Poshmark (3 items). In this case it happened to be jerseys. I listed all the items at $110 total and someone offered $60. I needed the money so I sold 3 authentic replica jerseys for $60. I bought all of them brand new at over $100 a piece. So the lowballer opened a case with Poshmark who almost always sides with the buyer. They are no help. You can't call them cuz they have no number and their emails are automated. I give this app a negative 5 star review. I refuse to sell on there ever again. I'll go make extra money on another app.
Seller we bought from misrepresented the "slightly used" watch. When we tried to get our money (over $300) returned was told we had to follow hidden procedures that expire almost immediately. There is absolutely no help or cooperation for the owners. If you are looking to sell your unwanted junk, this is the site to do it on. No worries, the customer who you just duped won't have time to get their money back.
"Agresale" (Alexa Moiso) of Oregon advertised a pair of shoes saying:
In good condition. Does have wear in interior from use as shown in pictures. A few creases near front toes. Material is patent leather. Heel height is approx. 3". I personally think these run slightly small and would fit best for a size 9."
$40 plus $6.49 shipping (which they asked - you can make offers which I didn't realize) I paid and upon arrival they fit like a true 9.5! I'm a 9 so I contacted seller and seller said:
I'm sorry they didn't work for you! I'm an 8.5 and thought they ran slightly small for a 9.5. I am unsure of what to do for you as there are no returns unless there is a flaw with the item.~agresale
*******@maureensharib maybe you can email poshmark and see what you can do? You can always resell them yourself as well.
I did as suggested and here's poshmark's response:
Have reviewed the case you submitted for order "j. Crew valentina patent d'orsay pumps". Unfortunately, this case does not qualify for a return because:
- unfortunately, this does not qualify for an item not as described return per our guidelines
- sizing can vary by fit and was not misstated by the seller
- moving forward, we highly encourage prospective buyers to ask as many questions as possible before making a purchase, including exact measurements, materials, etc
- Item can be re- listed and sold in closet
When I tried to contact the seller again the seller had blocked me.
I'm NOT a poshmark seller - will not be a poshmark buyer again in the future and encourage you not to be a poshmark buyer in the future based on this case of bait and switch and self-dealing on poshmark's part.

Terrible app, no protection so liars win - they purchase an expensive item and then lie and claim they revived something else and send false photos - total bs - this app is built for scammers (probably by scammers)
I would have given zero, but the review doesn't let you. I purchased an NWOT onyx bracelet and when it arrived it was scratched, the onyx is plastic and the latch is broken. I sent the pictures to posh, but they refused to refund me. I opened a case with BBB. Poshmark does not protect consumers. They protect the seller because they are paying the fees to sell on their site. I will never buy through them again.
So the seller had already sold one of the 2 items I ordered and paid for but it took her a week to tell me that. I am so mad. I asked for a full refund, we shall see what happens with that. I will never order or recommend this site to anyone. This is terrible customer service, she didn't know for a week the item wasn't available and now has my money?
I googled Anne Klein mesh watch. One came up and it was through Poshmark. There was a picture. The seller said it was oversized without a battery. I ordered it. When I received it, I tried it on but it was so small, I couldn't latch it. I am a 5foot 115 pound women so I was surprised. I contacted Poshmark within 18 hours. They email me back after 4 days and claimed I hadn't followed the return procedure of 3 days. They will not honor a refund. NEVER buy ANYTHING from this place. They suggested I donate the watch! They are very unprofessional and don't support the buyers, without whom they couldn't exsist.
I've been a seller for a couple of months now and have made extra pocket money selling my gently used clothing and stuff. If I never found this app, I wouldn't have made that extra rent money. I think this app is good to clear out closets! But even though shipping cost is high and 20% commision sucks for me, I still like the app. It's easy to use and I haven't had any problems with it so far. All the buyers are nice& haven't returned anything they bought from me. Another thing that sucks is that sometimes I have to wait 3 days for the buyers to accept the items they received from me on the app in order to get my money in to my account. Sooooo, 1 star off from that.
I've made many purchases from here before. Have had good and bad experiences, mostly good but it's normal not to be able to have perfect transactions all the time. Always be careful of purchases as I have had received fake replica orders as well. Just be careful
They are the worst online seller of clothes. The seller doesn't give a good description of their items (very brief). Poshmark will not give you your money back if it's the wrong size or if you didn't ask the Seller enough questions about the item. I had one seller unable to find the item I was trying to buy and had to wait 8 days and ask for a refund, which is only handled through Poshmark. You can't talk to the Seller again after the sale. You can only email Customer Support with the problem and it takes forever for an answer. I have closed my account with them and only buy things from Ebay or Amazon. You can call them and everything is 100% customer satisfaction with Ebay and Amazon. With Poshmark they tell you to resell the item or donated it. They will not help you with a valid problem. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS, THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO THE BUYER. I wouldn't give them any stars if I could.
This site is SO BAD. I have had countless problems with the customer service that it baffles me they can't do ANYTHING correctly. I think this app is horrible but only due to the customer service. Go to depop who have great customer service and are extremely helpful! SAVE YOUR TIME! Stay away!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
