I been on and off all for 2 years I mat I few men a lot was rude and creeps very disrespectful ugly married a lot of kids drama and play a lot of games and waste of time liers homles and dirty a lot of men looking for sex or a women to feed them or take care of them... its really ppl like my self that's are willing to meet a nice young man but these wild $#*! men get on here and actin like the gold but broke as $#*! so that's why I delete it oh 95% of the men post these old as pictures from 10 years ago that's all I am saying is post real pics and update pics of who u are I live in Washington DC...

I found the love of my life right here on POF. He had just recently started on POF himself when I got on. We both had been single for years. I pretty much just gave up there for a while and so did he. We both had bad relationships in the past in just kinda figured that everyone we would ever meet would just be out to hurt us. But there comes a time when you need to try again no matter what you might get. I was talking to a few other guys on here but he was the only one I felt comfortable enough to give my number to. A couple months later, I realized that my brother in law new him. And that's a big part in why I gave him a chance. It was pretty much love at first sight. We have been together for over a year now and unbelievably giddy the majority of the time. I love him so much that it makes me wonder if I actually loved anyone in my past relationships. I have never cared for anyone so much. And he says he feels the same. I can tell that that is true because I can feel it. I can feel the love that he has for me just radiating out of him. It almost makes me cry because im 36 and he's 42 and I wish that we could have met sooner but better late than never. Also, if you are in or have been a bad relationship it only makes you appreciate the right one more. Im not saying that everyone on here is going to find the right person on here but, its very possible. I believe I did. POF introduced us, the fact the he knew someone I knew brought us together, and God made it all possible. Good luck to you all.

My experience on Pof has been just as bad as a lot of the men in there most wemen are on there to get money, and you get banded for no good reason you try to be respectful and nice to people and follow all the rules but u get banded like I did for no reason. Marcus your nothing but a complete $#*! hole and I would not care to say that to your face, you don't band people for no apparent reason, and say you got a really good site, and trust me I would not care one bit to tell you my users name that was on there you friggen twit, Guys don't spend on money on this site because ur just wasting your time and money

I sent a message to 1 women, she replied I am not interested you fat b*stard. Not only I am not fat I am 76kg! But how can you speak to another person like that? You wouldnt say that to someone in real life
The next profile said no mingers, which is slang for ugly. This was from a women in late 30s who was very average at best. How can she expect any decent men when that is her headline?

I can say when I first started this site I meant a couple guys through here, half of them only wanting a hookup. First date I went on, the guy looked handsome in the pictures only to find out after one date, he only wanted me to be his. Ugh. And he did not look like his pics. The second date I went on, the guy was 12 years older than me, very handsome and had two girls who were closer to my age. After the couple dates and waiting it out (if you know what I mean) it did not work out because his daughters did not like my age. Who knows what his real intentions were. Finally, the last guy I went on a date was very charming, an incredible smile that caught my attention from the POF site. Soon after, we were going on multiple dates including Clipper games, dinners, hikes and even going to the gym. After about a month and half, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I can say we are so happy and in love, he has evolved into my best friend and we have such a bond that I can not compare with anyone else I ever been with. Six months to the day.

I have been visiting POF for about six years. In the early years I dated and met a lot of women. Let me say I am NOT good looking. Just an average guy. Even some people might be cruel and say I am ugly. But no matter. In the early years women DID respond to messages. They DID read the profiles and they DID message first. At one time I had 38 unread messages in my inbox. This was about 2011. However, over the years the interest women have shown has declined. That said, even back as 2014, I was still receiving messages (different profile). Not as many as in 2011, but I was going on dates. But all this good stuff has now ended. In 2016 I have had six new profiles. No messages. No replies. And obviously no dates. With each new profile I felt I was invisible. And I probably am. No disrespect to the women on there, but I have even messaged the fat ugly ones and still no replies. Only 9 profile views over six profiles, over 11 months. It's not just POF. Oasis, OKCupid are also DEAD. I put this down to there being far too many scammers, fake men's profiles and of course the women are far too picky. Arrogant and won't even look at the profiles never mind message back. POF, RIP.

This site is so overrun by scammers. PoF will delete a REAL profile for calling them out. Check out this email's grammar. This profile was supposed to have been written by a man holding a Bachelors degree:

"please reply me with your email address so that we can talk better because i am not always on this site" EWWWWW

It's bad enough having to wade through the sex addicts and men with mental, physical, and hygienic challenges, and pretty certain hot looking guys are on their way out of life from STDs, but if you're not really blessed with a lot of free time and want to at least -sort of- screen possible mates, at least it's free.

Match.com is no better for quality potentials, tbh. Paying creeps are still creeps. $20/mo for a website full of emotionally starving, intellectually inept individuals is like shooting- or scooping out- fish in a barrel. Today's sexual predator is a wolf in sheep's clothing on these sites.

They could be good sites, but for the crappy people. Much like the world, huh?

Maybe it's time for a class action lawsuit?

Would give it 0 stars if I could, met total creeps, cheats on here and had a hard time deleting my account it's basically a hook up site avoid with all costs. I wouldn't rejoin if they paid me

I have written their NON- EXISTING customer service. I am angry that they let men 10 yrs older then my preference contact me. But when men who liked me, wrote me and wanted to meet who were younger then me I could not respond...beyond sexist!

But pof wouldn't let me respond even though I was a freaking paid member,. I highly DO NOT recommend...plus at least half of the attractive men are scammers who I report and they POF does absolutely nothing to get rid of the fakes...worst company ever!
