I use a variety of plug ins and apps for FCPX, but none of them crash my projects and FCPX like Pixel Film Studios. Every time Mac or FCPX has an update, it is days & hours wasted with projects crashing, installing, re-installing, waiting on customer support etc. The app runs slow, but the main issue is how hard it crashes the FCPX app, no other app or plug in does that for me.
I've been using Pixel Film Studio plugins for nearly 5 years now and I continue to come back for more. Their plugins work great and almost all of them are M1 compatible. Which is great for me as I work only with apple computers and software. I would love to see more Christmas themes like the PFS Christmas Eve. Love the 3D candle video style. I have used many of these plugins in my music videos.

I've been using their plugins forever, they're really good, affordable and they have a ton of video tutorials for them, the only issue i find is that eferytime I upgrade my Mac OS, it shows issues and it makes me re install or go through a rabbit hole of youtube videos to know how to fix them when they don't work. I just had a chat with one of their chat assistants and he hooked it up, i hope it was a 24/7 service but people need to sleep too. This guys rock!
Had an issue with installation and red screen errors after I transferred to a new Mac. Getting hold of the Live Agent to Chat was tricky as I'm in the UK...so had to wait until they all got to work Pacific Time. But, once I got an agent online, they were AMAZING. Walked me through everything step by step and helped me until it was done.
The Product itself is good. I'm hoping I don't get any more red screen errors (probably my bad not theirs) but otherwise it's great. I got the Cartoon Mega Pack. Would love some more of the same as there are often not enough options/designs etc. but it is what it is. Easy to use and looks good.

I have been really pleased with my Pixel Film Studio purchases. I write music and wanted some cool effects to make my music videos more interesting and modern. I found many plugins on the site that will do just the job. You do need to invest some time in making the plugins work, mainly by watching YouTube video guides or through experimentation but you do get a big pay off. Overall, really pleased and will purchase again.

I have around 12 plugins in the last 2 months awesome though I wish they would improve the installer tried downloading and it says limit reached and I didn't even get download then it says installed but can't find it in FCP. They are prompt with customer service though and most of my problems have been solved ultimately.

I had a very difficult issue that needed resolving with graphics not working properly. After trying the most likely resolutions, I was guided by the PixelFilmStudios rep to go further into the computer to see if the problem was at my end. Sure enough we found a disabled "Font Book". I would have never thought to look there. I am very grateful for the kind and expert guidance I received from the PixelStudio representative.

I paid for a plugin, sent emails but they caim they cannot find any history of my purchase. I bought many plugin's from this business. Emails sent has not helped even though I tried to query why it is not in my downloads. I ask them to reset my downloads as I had to reinstall final cut pro. Before the reset my download was there, now missing in downloads and orders. The last email sent to me from Pixels was a smiley face saying sorry we cannot help. Shocking way to treat customers that spent lots of money. I will not buy again.

These products always crash. I have purchased one plugging I need to let them know it is not longer working at all. Very sorry for this review but in this occasion this product made my work had a bad consequence. Tried to contact them, and they never replied.

You can pretty much drag and play in your timeline, but what I don't like the most is that when updates come, you'll see a lot of red screen and it can be annoying as you have to delay your project and update everything. With all that though, they have a great chat support can help you fix it.

I edit professionally for a youtube channel that is pretty popular in its specific niche. I bought a massive titles pack so that I could up the production quality for the channel. It had tons of really great looking title templates that all have a nice amount of customizability. Admittedly there are occasional bugs with them but in my experience that's just kinda the way it goes with plugins. Usually I am able to sort it out myself but for a couple tricky ones I have reached out to customer service and I am very happy with how helpful and responsive they are. Have not had an issue yet that we weren't able to solve in 10 mins or less.
I have also browsed their larger catalogue of products. It's massive and I want to try out a few more of them. Motion tracking titles, etc.
