Like the title says, most parts are cheaper from Amazon. Why lay in the grease pulling parts when I can have new parts delivered to my house for free?
Pick n pull has the rudest customer service I have ever seen. If you hate your job that much, please find a new job!
Today January 4 I finally received payment for the car I sold November 13 to picknpull. What I thought would be a simple process of selling an older car to picknpull became a nightmare that only worked out because of some hard work on the part of Customer service rep. Claudia Martinez!
I sold my car, in mid November. I walked in the title, but did not receive a check. I waited and waited, then began calling. I kept getting different people that never put my address in correctly. Finally, Claudia became my point of contact. She traced the payment, had it mailed out again. It didnt arrive. I contacted her again. She had the payment delivered by UPS overnight ( which took a bit longer because of the holiday). The payment was much, much lower than the quote. I contacted Claudia and emailed her a copy of the quote. She was able to contact the main office and have it fixed!
Claudia Martinez, at picknpull was able to untangle and fix the mess that picknpull made of my car, the payment, address, amount, etc. She is a huge asset to this company. Calm, clear, reliable, and honest. She made sure I received the correct payment.
If you choose to go with picknpull, be sure to try to deal with Claudia M. She will help you.
The manager at the American Canyon Pick-n-Pull is a piece of s*** I would not do business with this company again ever in my life I've been Pick-n-Pull Shopper for 25 years and refuse to do business with this man my best suggestion is to fire him immediately he's not customer-oriented he's not very good for business and frankly just a piece of s***
My first time after 20 or somotors i have bought from pick and pull this is the first bad one. But they say i cant return it without my recept. I gave it to them when i returned the core motor and she only gave the recept for the core. Its ben three days since i was told they wood call me they didnt so called them said cant do nothing till monday now. This is the new yard at american canyon
Darrel nasty customer service he cut me off multiple times as I was speaking asked me questions cut me off ask again because he couldn't hear me from his voice cutting over mine. I feel like he used rudeness on purpose he is a corporate representative. And he needs to be redirect. I had a very simple task for him and he made a fuss through it all. I gotten disconnected and I wanted to hang up on him and try again thats how rude this guy was. Do something about it listen to our conversation train these workers who represents you. I overall like the company in my home town great deals just have to be one worded when its talking to corporate they don't care about the customers.
You need to fix your price chart please I asked Google how much a alternator was at picknpull and then I looked on your website price chart and their was a $11 difference and I've priced it before with a spindle and went their thinking I was gonna get two and a big price difference their as well and u should also make it so the core charge isnt already deducted on the chart please and thank u
It's crazy how I worked here for a year a was accused of stealing come to find out it was management that's y they are no longer there and get fired because of me giving a discount of an employee on his off day but someone can continue to call say $#*! and I tell my higher up as in management and $#*! don't happen and they don't even want to pay me my last check or fill out the unemployment info ppl have families and bills but throw all of this I'm going to tell u... don't ever shop here or go to the location on second ave.
And to prove that I was a great working I received a "bs" award for customer service...
I hate racism and I hate this company for how I was treated and I would never work here or have anyone of color work here again
For the first time in my life, I went to Pick-n -Pul on Truman Rd. I called first to make sure I had everything that I needed. I was not informed about the cost or the age requirement. I didn't see the age requirement on the website either. The age requirement was important because I brought my son to help me but he is not sixteen.
The employees there were not friendly or helpful. The employees there are direct. They have a Let's get to the point attitude.
I returned to them the next day because the part would not fit my car. I gave the employer the part and my receipt. She threw the part into a box, she kept my receipt and informed me that this is an exchange only.
I wasn't giving a map of the yard this day. While I was in the yard, I accidentally called Pick-n-Pull on Winner Rd. I believe Vivian answers the phone, with all the noise in the yard, it was hard to hear. Vivian answers the question I had even though it wasn't at their location. She told me what to do if the part I needed were not available, and she checks for the make and model of my car at their location, just in case I needed to come there.\
Pick-n-Pull on Truman Rd would be great with the training from the Winner Rd employees. I inform the same employer after returning to the building that I was heading to the Winner Rd location because they did not have the part I needed for my car. She did not check Winner Rd inventory or call them so that I wouldn't waste my time. She did not give me a receipt for proof of purchase when I needed to exchange my part before entering the yard. She did not give me a ToolKit rewards card in case I come again. She did not give me a receipt proving that I paid my admission fees for the day.
The employees at the Winner Rd locations are professionals. They will help you the best way they can. You will receive your ToolKit rewards card. They will handle their job and you professionally. Just go to the Winner Rd location.!
To Ms. Melody and Ms. V or Vivian at the Winner rd locations, you guys are great! Keep up the good work.
First couple women I talked to were lovely. My dads car broke down and we couldn't reach the title due to where it was in a filled storage container. First woman treated me well when organizing things. I called again, due to how long getting a replacement title would take (as its my fathers, who was full time with a long drive) and was told the offer wouldn't expire and given an email to send the in-leu-of to, after they suggested I get it if I couldn't the original title. I sent the email finally, then waiting a bit to ensure they had time to process it before calling back. Was never told an offer expired, just that the email never came through. I had the right email. It didn't bounce back. So I dont know how it got lost on their end. A lot happened to delay my second attempt, including covid and timing with my father, who had to be present when I called as its his vehicle. I sent the new email and only waited a couple days. Today I called, was told my offer expired and the email never came through, again. I was asked a question and started to explain my situation, and was hung up on. Overall, a frustrating experience. 3rd person wasn't helpful in the slightest, and 4th person hung up on me mid sentence.
You pull it was bought out by pick n pull. The first thing I noticed is that pick n pull raised the prices and charge an "environmental fee" on top of the admission fee. Many times I can buy a part thru a wrecking yard cheaper than at pick n pull and I don't have to remove the part. I only buy special items that traditional yards don't sell. Also I get a better price selling a scrap car to a scrap yard. Yet another way pick n pull rips off their customers...
Very shady worker gave mexicans better rates... not sure why. It was cheaper to buy the PART NEW at part stores or amazon
Claiming parts are OEM on 300k mile, 25+yrs old vehicles s unrealistic as well as their purchasing vehicle price, and the most ridiculous is parts pricing supported by OEM claim
Worst place ever for customer service the Mexican manager will only help Mexican customers and on top of that she's price gouging I went to buy a belt tensioner it came up to almost $46 dollars there price list said $24.99. Needless to say I didn't but bought a new one at O'Reilly's cheaper then P&P for $27. There ripping off customers by making up there own prices when you get to the register or they don't even know what the part is. DON'T GO TO PICK N PULL ON TRUMAN ROAD KANSAS CITY MISSOURI.
Website listed front fender at $29.99, I go pull it and step up to the cash register...$69.99. I told the cashier the website listed it at 29.99 and he said
"Not for that fender. I can offer a 10% discount but that all you ll get." This is after driving an hour to get to the yard, then spending an hour finding the car and pulling the part... pick and pull is notorious for b. S. business practices like this... how in the $#*! are they still in business?!
Hire someone that will UPDATE THE WEBSITE after you crush cars. You wasted 4 hours and gas money going there for NOTHING. Update, it's not rocket science.
Pick and pull has parts for every vehicle and they have awesome prices and awesome customer service. Give em a try!
Take a look at the pricing of what you want before you pay. Sometimes they will charge you for 2 Assemblies (Example Strut + Hub) when the items are sold as one item somewhere else on the Price Sheet, for half the price. I shop there a lot and the only big complaint is the prices have gotten really high.
My experience with Pick-n-Pull is a very good experience Danny was really a great help this lot is very good they tell you the inventory of prices over the phone you're very very helpful they work with you all they can I'm trying to find you a proper inventory they're really a good good good salvage yard keep up the good work Pick-n-Pull I don't know how much more I can tell you about Pick-n-Pull other than that you're working on cars it's not a need it's a necessity do you need anything call our visit Pick-n-Pull on Applewhite Road
GATE ENTERANCE WHEATHER THEY HAVE PART OR NOT YOU PAY, NO REFUNDS?
WITH MY PAST EXPERIENCE I BOUGHT ONE TIME SINCE ALREADY PAID BUT WAS NOT SURE IF IT WILL WORK. WHEN WANTED TO RETURN NO REFUNDS ONLY CRDIT TOWARDS FUTURE PURCHASE? SAD NO ONE EVEN INVIREMENT OR ANY AGENCY LOOKINING INTO IT. MUST BE GETTING TIPS BENEFIT TO SECURE THEIR JOB IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THEY ALL SUCKS. BETTER BUY FROM RECYCLERS OR EBAY OR ELSE AND SAFE. DEFINATELY DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY. BADLY MANAGED SCAM IN SALVAGE BUSINESS I GUESS MAFIA POSSIBLE
On 3/16/2019 I had the worst experience I have ever had in my life with any business. At the Pic-n-Pull at 1805 N West Bypass Road, Springfield, MO ******* I was looking for a good used transmission for my niece's car since she is pregnant and due in April. So I called around the Springfield area to see who had the best price on a transmission. Pick-n-Pull of Springfield seemed to have the best price so it seemed at the time. They said they had two transmissions available. So I go there to pick up the transmission. What I found was only one had a transmission the other one was completely gone. The cars are all supported two feet off the ground by 2 steel rims that are welded together. On the vehicle that actually had the transmission I needed, the rims were supported on the cross member that I needed to remove to get to the transmission making it very difficult to pull the transmission out on my back in the dirt and the rocks. Keep in mind I am 56 years old and not as agile as I once was so this took me a little longer than I expected. Well without having a watch and being focused on getting the transmission out I lost track of time. So it's 5 o'clock and they lock all the gates and all the doors and go home with no notification that this was going on I find myself locked in a junkyard. So I call 911 and have the police call the owner to have someone come and let me out. 2 hours later they finally send someone who makes me wait even longer for the police to get there. The police finally arrived and with the manager, As instructed by the manager I am treated like a criminal I'm searched and patted down to make sure I'm not stealing anything and the manager has the audacity to tell me that I cannot buy this transmission and that I am banned from the store. After spending six hours pulling a transmission in the rocks and dirt on my back in a car that is poorly supported and because the makeshift jack stands are in the wrong place. Now I'm escorted to my truck by the police. I'm told by the police that as a business they have every right to do this. Well, Pick-n-Pull can be assured that they will never be getting any more business from me and then I will never recommend this place to anyone.
