Greed
February 26, 2025

I had an offer for my BMWZ4 for $925 from pick n pull and to my surprised they rescinded the offer and sent me an email the following day for $325 offer. And they kept on aggressively calling and emailing me to accept their ridiculous offer. I declined and guess what I contracted another company called "peddle" and I was offered $1385 and it went well and quick. I wouldn't recommend pick n pull to anyone they're way too greedy and their customer service sucks

If you ever get store credit I recommend using asap. You have 30 days, only problem is it completely disappears from receipt paper and that is the only way of tracking. Happened to me twice, Out $90.00. I recently witnessed a elderly disabled man in complete disbelief, as he was told sorry not legible after pulling from his wallet. How come tool kit cards are issued on hard, durable plastic and store credit on generic thin paper?
1)store credit. (2) core charges (3)O. E. M claim are all insulting,

Charlie & Rene
August 28, 2021

The greatest customer service experience I ever had. Renee was polite respectful and professional Charlie was knowledgeable on parts and very resourceful when it came to extracting parts of vehicles. These two one above and beyond stayed a little bit later after closing time just so my wife and I could get the parts we needed. They didn't overcharge and give us parts we didn't need. I feel that these two are role models and should be considered for promotions.

Terrible
August 8, 2022

Apparently the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing at pick and pull they schedule me for the tow to pick up vehicle at 2 pm but never showed up or even call me I called and they rescheduled for 9 am the next day but was told the drivers are not allowed to reschedule pickup I made 4 calls to pick and pull and had to repeat the same story 4 times and still didn't get anywhere. It's unfortunate because you can't rely on professionalism and simple common courtesy in business today!

I was treated horrible by pick n pull in Redding CA. They sold me illegal tires and 2 days later when multiple tire shops said it would be illegal to put them on, pick n pull refused to give me a refund and told me I'm $#*! out of luck. I'm a single Mom and can't afford new tires right now. I can't believe a business can sell you something illegal and refuse a return then treat you like scum. I'm very upset and stuck with tires I can't use and no money to purchase more. I don't recommend this location.

Like the title says, most parts are cheaper from Amazon. Why lay in the grease pulling parts when I can have new parts delivered to my house for free?
Pick n pull has the rudest customer service I have ever seen. If you hate your job that much, please find a new job!

Vehicle was inventoried as being in yard 34 days. It was the only one with compatible part. I called the desk twice from yard and got no answer. 2 trips back to desk to confirm its location in the yard. Not there. Walked a mile around the yard looking for it. Before i left i was told it was "policy" to remove cars from yard after 45 days. I told them it was listed as being there 34 days. They said "Sorry". I drove the 25 miles back home. Wasted afternoon and $5.00 gas. Part (dome light) was priced 50% higher than area competitor (Midway U-Pull).

Nit Picky Pricing
May 15, 2021

The yard in Tacoma used to be great when it was Pull-A-Part. Prices were great. Customer service was great. As soon as Pick-n-Pull took over many prices nearly doubled and customer service went down hill quickly. They nit pick every little part that comes out of there. Example: I need a factory stereo for an '05 Accord. These stereos are basically one unit with the heater controls. Their pricing is $20 for factory radio/cd player. After finding and pulling the item I was told $65 because I also has the heater controls. These units don't easily dissect and separate. They would rather eat the part that they most likely don't have a buyer for than make a paying customer happy. I'd be willing to compromise a little on the price. Maybe somewhere in the middle of $20 and the $65 I was quoted. There was no budging on their side. So, I told them they can keep it. First picture is in dash. Second is out of the car. As you can see, it comes out as one unit. Third is from the backside. No way am I going to take it apart. There needs to be a different price structure for parts such as this. As I said, they would rather lose the sale, eat the part, and have an unhappy paying customer than to work with that customer in a situation like this. I'll find it elsewhere. They can add the one I pulled to their scrap pile.

Pick n pull is a great website business as well as local opportunity to get used auto parts for very cheap. You just pay two dollars for the entrance fee and enter with your auto tool set. Needed a toyota car rear mirror and an auto retract antenna. Both fixed for under $50. Obviously much less than buying it direct from toyota.

Just make sure you bring your own tools, gloves and check the website before heading down to one of their locations.

Take a look at the pricing of what you want before you pay. Sometimes they will charge you for 2 Assemblies (Example Strut + Hub) when the items are sold as one item somewhere else on the Price Sheet, for half the price. I shop there a lot and the only big complaint is the prices have gotten really high.

Been to pick and rip a thousand times, but now im done. Tired of their horrible service, and way to costly parts. Almost all parts are more at pick n pull used, then new on line, or at the auto parts store. Then their fake environmental fees. Door fees... please. 20$ plus buck for a used late 80' headlight at pick n rip... auto parts store, 7$ bucks. Honestly, garbage prices, and rude service. Buy on line, its cheaper and better quality.

Corporate office rep
October 27, 2020

Darrel nasty customer service he cut me off multiple times as I was speaking asked me questions cut me off ask again because he couldn't hear me from his voice cutting over mine. I feel like he used rudeness on purpose he is a corporate representative. And he needs to be redirect. I had a very simple task for him and he made a fuss through it all. I gotten disconnected and I wanted to hang up on him and try again thats how rude this guy was. Do something about it listen to our conversation train these workers who represents you. I overall like the company in my home town great deals just have to be one worded when its talking to corporate they don't care about the customers.

Arlington, Wa location..
January 11, 2015

Arlington, Wa location.
They are way over priced, on top of made up fees and OMG! Core charges!, at a junk yard, The worst part is they nickel and dime you for extras as they call it. I bought a center console, and they wanted to charge me extra for the cigarette lighter and ash tray,
A few months prior I bought a moon visor that had five lights on it and they charged me extra for each light,,, so pissed. That's like going to the store and getting a fountain drink, and u get charged extra for the lid and straw and then getting a ice recycling fee

WTF I am sure that 80% of customers leave feeling ripped off or pissed

Website listed front fender at $29.99, I go pull it and step up to the cash register...$69.99. I told the cashier the website listed it at 29.99 and he said
"Not for that fender. I can offer a 10% discount but that all you ll get." This is after driving an hour to get to the yard, then spending an hour finding the car and pulling the part... pick and pull is notorious for b. S. business practices like this... how in the $#*! are they still in business?!

They may say they have the car year and model you are looking for but they will not guarantee they have the part you need. Most of the cars are damaged and/or partially stripped. Over an hour drive to the location and guy wouldn't look to see if they had the part I was looking for. When I got there, no luck parts all smashed. Plus they charged me just to enter the yard and look! What a rip-off. I found new parts on-line that were cheaper than what they put you through. Don't waste your time!

You pull it was bought out by pick n pull. The first thing I noticed is that pick n pull raised the prices and charge an "environmental fee" on top of the admission fee. Many times I can buy a part thru a wrecking yard cheaper than at pick n pull and I don't have to remove the part. I only buy special items that traditional yards don't sell. Also I get a better price selling a scrap car to a scrap yard. Yet another way pick n pull rips off their customers...
