The sales people are good. It's the delivery and installation people that need improvement. The last team to deliver my refrigerator was terrible. Not only did they show up late but upon delivery in my house, one of the guys slammed my refrigerator onto the kitchen floor by letting go of his handtruck too quickly. Neither the kitchen floor nor I were amused. They only did the bare minimum in setting it up. Not only did they not take all the plastic coverings (which I had to do) but two days later, the water line which dispenses drinking water started leaking all over my kitchen floor. Apparently they did not install it properly by doing a rush job. I have purchased practically all my kitchen appliances and TVs through PC Richard but now I am having second thoughts.
The store is great and i am comfortable with everything that they offer.
But do not buy the maytag mvw6500mw0.

Purchased microwave plus installation- microwave didn't fit- installers ruined tile around range- when I wouldn't sign for delivery they signed it themselves. Customer service says "not their problem" call installer. Installer won't address the issue at all. So I'm stuck with damages and no microwave.
The salesman at the Newington store, Chris S. Was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and patient. It's always a pleasure to shop there when Chris is there. After looking at the many washers and dryers on display I chose the Samsung front load washer and matching dryer with pedestals in champagne. The color was beautiful and they were easy to understand plus they had an app for my phone so I would know when they are done. The delivery and set up was great, it's nice to have experienced delivery people that know how to set up your appliances. I am very happy with the Samsung washer and dryer, they are quiet and efficient, I love the steam feature for wrinkles. P.C. Richard's in Newington is the only place I buy all of my appliances, they have outstanding service and delivery, there are many appliances are on display to chose from and you can't beat their prices! I have attached a photo I took in the store of the Samsung washer and dryer I purchased, the pedestals are not shown. I hate spending money but when I have to I always go to P.C. Richard's in Newington because I know I will get the best product at the best deal.

What a wonderful experience we had yesterday at your location in the gateway store in Brooklyn NY. Our salesperson, Haseeb Mohamed was very knowledgeable about the dishwasher we were purchasing and very professional throughout the purchase process. He also explained the delivery process as far as date and time frames I will definitely be back to Mr Mohamed whenever I need additional purchases and will recommend my friends and family to him

Absolutely horrible service. Hung on me more than 3 times when I called and waited for over 1 hour and I waited 6 weeks to fix my electric stove. I bought insurance years ago, and I explained in full detail about the issue. It seems like they still did not notice that I need 2 parts not just 1 part of the stove.

I bought an a/c last year and I've complained to pc Richards patchogue many times. I am diagnosed with ALS and need a working a/c to breathe. I can't go through another summer like last summer and i notified pc Richards so many times. I can't speak because of this disease and I had many people call on my behalf.i even wrote letters! I'll use tv help segments for spotlight on pc Richards. I live on social security and small pension. This is heartless! I need help!
I got sent to PcR&S from Best Buy when I couldn't find a product there. I did not find the product there either, however, Saed (I hope I spell that correctly) was hugely helpful in helping me find a work around and with items that were on sale. I went to Best Buy expecting spend over $100, and managed to get away with spending around $60 here instead with almost exactly what I wanted. I recommend everyone go here, and talk to Saed in particular. As a technician, I have had little to no help, and often times, been hindered by salesmen trying to tell me an item is what I'm looking for. Most won't take "Leave me the hell alone" as an answer. Saed knew his product, and had multiple different ideas and was generally very helpful and genuinely very pleasant. I will be back for my technical needs.

The last call I did, I ask for a manager, they kept me on hold for another 15 minutes so i hang up the phone. I was calling to find out if they had a kitchen package before I went to the store. I was going to spend around $10,000.

Went to the Southampton store to look at a TV that I was going to buy online but your salesman, Rob, was so helpful that I ended up buying it there.
I bought a microwave on may 26, paid $35 for same day delivery, next day I had an email explaining What I ordered did not apply for delivery on the same day. I called and someone told me delivery will take 4 or 5 days, I accepted, today, a week later I have to call again and the order for a simple microwave could be done until next Tuesday, 2 weeks for a microwave, and over all. The customer service person tells me with an attitude that He does not care that I cancel my order, without explanation or anything, he offers me the return email and goodbye, First and last purchase at pc richards
At the Greenvale location, Tom took great care of us from beginning to end. He knew the ins and outs of the easiest way to get the products and best prices and sizes for our tvs and mounts. He made sure everything was in working order and checked up on us after the sale. I highly recommend this store and especially Tom.
I purchased a stove for my parents in January 2022 as a gift. The stove has never worked properly. Over a year later we have had several rude service men (one in which tried teaching my Italian mother how to cook properly) in our home to fix it and nothing. I was told they have to order parts again. Why would a brand new stove need new parts?! At this point, we just want it replaced and it's been a nightmare. I will never shop at PC Richards again. Best Buy will forever get my business and I will make it a point to deter anyone I know from shopping at PC Richards.
Tried to buy a new refrigerator,took our current measurements to the Hanover store. Picked out a new one,but the size and the opening were questionable. They charged us 50$ to send two men out to check if it would fit. They came unprepared with no information. We had to call the store to get the info. They said it wouldn't fit and left. PC Richards delivered a dehumidifier to my home a few months ago ( February 2023) in the process the delivery truck took down the power line running from my home to my workshop. I contacted the company they told me to send a quote and pictures of the damage and they would take care of it. I did as was asked all they did was give me the runaround for $2500 worth of damage and refused to cover the damage that their delivery truck caused. Repeated e-mails and phone calls resulted in no action and steadily denying the claim stating that it was not covered as their responsibility. They still have not taken any action as of May 2023.
Answer: This company is a scam. Buyer beware! They sell damaged appliances as new and charge full price, promising they're new. We paid full price for a dryer. They delivered a unit that would not power on. They took 2 weeks to ship a replacement - also severly damaged. After two more weeks, they ship another one. Arrived just now - DAMAGED. This company can not be trusted.
