We purchased a pair of number balloons from Party City at Freemont Village Shopping Center, 2109 Hawkins Street, Port Coquitlam on April 22 at 6:50pm for $12.99 each but we saw at Superstore that they're selling them for only $6 each. We went back to Party City past 8pm to return the balloons but the store was already closed. I called Party City at 10am the following day and spoke to their Supervisor Danielle and she said that we cannot return the balloons. Needless to say that we are very disappointed with their store policy and how poorly Danielle treated us. Other than their products are overly priced, their cashier who sold us the balloons was snotty. She was even busy chit chatting with another cashier behind the counter while we wait for them to ring our purchase. I've searched Google and it seems that Party City is now owned and operated by Canadian Tire, no wonder they have poor customer service. I will never buy a single product from Party City ever again.
I called to see if they had plastic cups from the Mandalorian (the computer website said 12 and when I called they have 5). I gave them my name thinking they would have it at the front of the store. I got there, picked up something else and stood in line. I am waiting and this woman walks over and she goes straight to the register. I look at the cashier and she didn't say anything but helped her. I didn't say anything and then got up there. They hadn't put the cups on the side. One of the workers got them for me. I paid for my stuff and got out. I filled out the complaint on line. Sunday, June 21 the store manager called but I didn't hear my phone. I will call tomorrow. He said there is a policy to take curbside and prepaid customers. That is the policy. Where is the policy located. If the policy is not listed how am I supposed to know. I will not be going to that store again. This is ridiculous.
I drove out of my way to the Party City in Indio to get balloons for my Mom's birthday instead of stopping at the Dollar Store because I THOUGHT the quality of the balloons would hold the helium longer. WRONG... her balloons were drooping to the floor the next morning. Waited 15 minutes in a 3 person line for these balloons and spent close to $20. Never again... back to the Dollar Stores for balloons...
Bought all of our party supplies from Party City online for Gender Reveal. Were told from the local Store if we brought in the balloons the would take care of us- the day before the Reveal they told us they would NOT blow up the Gender Reveal balloon and there would be a charge to blow up the rest of the balloons! Worst experience ever! They just lost a customer! I will go ANYWHERE else! Way to ruin our special day Party City!
I purchased a piñata online that what was way too small. So I took it to the north I 35 party city by Palmer Lane in hopes that either they can exchange it or return my money, I was told by the rude manager who rolled her eyes that she does not do exchanges or refunds at this location that I need to go all the way to Cedar Park and carried on about what she was doing instead of just continuing to talk with me. I will never ever purchased from party city and I will will be returning all purchased items that I purchased for Easter back because I don't deserve this no one does.
Walked in with no greeting, although two employees stood there arranging the entry table. No help from them or clerk. Was there for about 20 min without a word spoken to me.
The employees were very friendly and answered all my questions about the stuff I had purchased it was a great experience and would recommend this place to anyone for your party needs
This company's customer service is abusive! They even accused my local post man of trying to scam me. Won't fix their shipping issue and won't refund my money. Don't shop there!
I shop at party city MARKHAM frequently due to my party planning business when I need last minute items. I have to say I am very patient person but the service at this chain is terrible. The staff are completely confused and disorganized and stand around and seem to have no idea what's going on not to mention how rude the main managers are. I watched them completely ignore an elderly man who clearly needed help and was having a hard time standing in the line for so long. The store never has ANY stock in balloons and I am forced to find other options every single time I come here. Even having to purchase one item, I've waited in line over 20 minutes many times waiting for a frazzled staff member to even acknowledge the line and even when I'm the only person in line I still have to stand there for a ridiculously long time. Party city also started a money grabbing rule that when you purchase balloons from them you have to pay the helium fee even when you are not having them blown up at all. Anyone who is able to read this, party supply depot is way cheaper with the exact same products x10 without the helium fee for flat balloons, not to mention helpful and pleasant staff who have knowledge on the product. If I could give less than one star for party city I would! I've tried many locations and it's always the same thing at every store!

I have always shopped from their website, but looks like they never value their customers and never listen to their customers. Experience I had was horrible I am sure anyone would have stoped business with them. They lied to me saying they never recieved my email they lied that they will ship at and of course they charged me overnight. Nothing hurt me but the way the lady treated me over the phone the way she talked to me It hurts we give business for this company. You know there are lots different websites we can buy party supplies. Right after I was done with emoloyee over the phone I took everything back to return I did have party next day but decided not use their item I went i bought them from target with great service no matter online or on site. I am hopping this company adress this issue and train well their employees if they want to stay in the market.
I placed an online order recently, but somehow the order was shipped to a DIFFERENT address, and then returned to sender. If I had not gone online to track it myself, I would have only realized it the day before my son's FIRST birthday. They didn't call or email me to notify me of this, as though the address mistake is my fault.
This is my first (and BAD) experience with their shipping service, so I'll advice anyone looking to order online from them: TRACK your order yourself, cos apparently customer service does NOT exist.
I spent $60 on paper plates, paper cups, one plastic table cloth and a couple of balloons, and recieved ONE party favor. The party favor was listed under "Party Favors" "Squishables" and showed a description of 14 small stuffed animals. Apparently, they were priced $15 for just ONE party favor--as in the HIDDEN description listed one Squishable for $15 dollars. My shipment was supposed to arrive on a Thursday, they delayed shipping to the following Tuesday. My son's birthday was that Sunday. I had to hunt down my package from UPS (luckily they worked on this particular saturday) and I was able to get my overpriced party stuff for my sons Birthday. I could have purchased everything at the dollar store for far less! But was primarily ordering for the party favors. I added the rest of the crap just for convenience. Don't waste your time or money.
I ordered balloons for my son's graduation.
When I ordered inflated balloons online, I asked how long inflated balloons last.
They told me it will last 6days but I could pay $1 extra to to last another day.
I told them I just need these balloons to last two days so that I don't need extra day.
I picked up on monday 5pm on those balloons that I have to drive round trip of 45 Minutes.
When I came down stairs next morning and find out that ALL BALLOONS are flat already.
Those balloons only last not more than 10-12 hours.
Very disappointed with Party City.
If you call their store to talk to someone over the phone, it's impossible.
Nobody pick up the phone.
I got a email saying that my balloons were ready to pick up but when I got there my balloons were not ready.
I have to wait another 35 minutes to pick up.
I will never shop this company ever again.

I placed an order 7/24 and it shipped 7/26. It was split into two shipments and both said they'd be delivered by 7/29. One box came 7/29 the other never did. The following day, deliver changed to 7/30 by end of day. Again it never came. On 7/31 progress changed to "please check back again later". On that day I contacted party city. Got an email saying one box was delivered and the other in transit. Since then I've emailed them 3 other times and no reply. Today is 8/10,15 days since it was shipped and I still have not gotten it. I've not gotten a reply. I filed a claim with UPS and they've changed my progress to "trying to locate package/investigation only". That was 4 days ago and nothing yet. I've asked party city to refund my money or send another product since it is not my fault the package is lost and I paid for it along with the shipping. Can not get to a live person when calling no matter what option I pick. I understand UPS lost the package not party city but I did business with party city and feel they should be finding my package or replacing it but nobody will respond!
I ordered the Barbie box off the website for a birthday party for my daughter and it was supposed to arrive three days prior to her party. I received the confirmation email and everything was great. Fast-forward a week and I received another confirmation that it just sent. It was supposed to be sent well before the day it was actually sent. I spoke to a gentleman the week after from customer service, on the phone and he stated he would provide a refund. I received the Barbie box package the following week of said "refund".
I never received a refund.
I called customer service YET AGAIN, and was hung up on, and was also told there was no supervisor to speak with. I even called my bank to have the payment refunded to me because I should not have to pay for something that was approved for a refund.
In summation, I will not be shopping at party city any longer and I used to shop here (in store and online) for all my party needs, on a regular basis. The lack of sympathy from the customer service agents at party city was appalling. I have informed my friends and family of the situation, and there is quite a few people who will never return back to this company for anything moving forward. I know this means little to nothing to party city as a whole. However, I don't feel you should shop at a company you cannot trust. There are plenty other party places that offer supplies at much lower cost. I will be using them moving forward.
Employees don't get any kind of training, same reason why they can't help costumers, they are racist with every one.

Hi I went to your store in Port Richey Fla. Off of highway 19. Shelby and Cory were Amazing, they made sure I had what I needed to celebrate my friends birthday. Thanks so you two I am so thankful.
They didn't ship a hellium machine I ordered 74 bucks total after taxes and shipping. Item never shipped no one told or emailed me I call them have to " open a claim" only to get. 49 dollar refund! I never received the item And it never shipped and yet PARTY CITY IS SAYING THEY " DONT REFUND CUSTOMERS FOR TAXES OR SHIPPING PAID" Illegal! I've never heard of such a thing in my life. No other company does this because it's common sense every penny paid should be refunded! Especially on an item never shipped! Awful company. Let's start a small claims on this company. Looking into one now

Poor quality products: 12" balloons package you only find three the rest are a smaller version like 6" GRRR! The helium tanks (2) couldn't Inflate 72 balloons in the one package. Cheap & CHEAT You! Better going to Dollar Store they do all the work great quality balloons lasts up to a week $1 per Balloon!

Answer: There are many locally owned smaller party stores that are always cheaper and the service is better most of the time. No long waits and if they don't have what you need they can order it.
