One parts at a decent price

I had part numbers for parts that I needed for a four wheeler. Parts VU had them price less expensively than other websites and four wheeler parts outfits. Parts arrived in good packaging, good order n quickly.

All the parts I ordered were received very timely, even the back ordered parts were only a couple days behind the other parts. It was a very good experience, pricing was better than anywhere else also on genuine parts.

Excellent. Fast. Unfortunately the cover that arrived was for an F350, not the F300 I thought I ordered so it's a little big, and doesn't quite match my other 2 covers. Nonetheless, I needed it and am using it. Otherwise the service was great as usual.

Was a little disappointed to get a call after ordering a new outboard that I would have to pay extra for shipping if I could not provide a commercial address for shipping. I work from home but luckily was able to provide a commercial address.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience, It does state on our website that oversized and heavy items would require additional shipping. In order to keep our prices low, and not put an extra cost on you we do need to take an alternative route. In cases like these, where the motors are shipped freight, the price is astronomical to have them delivered to a residential area. In order to avoid having that cost passed on to you, we had to have this shipped to a commercial address where the freight company can easily access it and therefore do not charge extra fees. While shipping freight is always expensive we do not mind paying the price to make sure the item arrives to you in the best condition possible. I again apologize for any inconvenience.

The service team told me the impellar kit was the item i needed but I since have discovered there is an item with just the impellar and gaskets for sale. I am out of town and haven't contacted customer service yet.

100 hour kit Yamaha F250
December 11, 2021

Everything was delivered on time, the only hiccup was the oil filter wrench I ordered didn't fit the filters in the kit. Not sure if I ordered the wrong one or if the wrong one shipped. Anyway overall a great experience.

I didn't realize that the impeller didnt come with the rest of the 100 hour service kit. I should have read closer and realized it ahead of time but that would typically expect the impeller to be part of a 100 hour service. All included parts were excellent. There was more oil included than was required by the engine.

Boat key replacement
November 29, 2021

I placed the order a couple of months ago and just received the replacement key. I did email the company a few weeks after ordering for status. They responded right away arising that the order wouldn't be shipped due to the manufactures back order. I did appreciate the communication and will place another order in the future.

Very helpful but due to the yamaha isssue fro the part ordered it took forever to get and to tell you the truth had no idea it was showing up until it landed on my porch but very happy it came and hopefully this will be done in a week and i get back in the water

The trolling motor finally arrived

The trolling motor finally arrived. Fed Ex first said it attempted delivery on Easter Sunday but no one was home. 1) I was home... 2) It was Easter(!) and 3) Fed Ex is closed on Sundays. It took them almost a week more for them to find it and finally deliver it. No fault of PartsVu, but you might consider another carrier.

I have searched our database and only found 1 correspondence from you late Thursday, and when the agent responded a little less than 24 hours later your order had already arrived, thus they provided a response advising of the delivery. I did not see anything prior to that with your email. I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I assure you we do not try to hide anything. We do state in our terms and conditions that items may not be available or in stock but that we will notify you within 1-3 business days which in fact we did. When items are on backorder all we can do is advise of the estimated availability date so that you may have the option to cancel or carry on with the order. In this case, you did not cancel and we kept your order open and had it dropshipped directly from the vendor to you. I do sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this has caused as that is not our intention. Thank you again for your review.

Decent Customer Service at PartsVu - Purchased a Mercury remote control. Had an issue with a decal on the remote. (Manufacturers factory defect). PartsVu shipped out a replacement label free of shipping charge. All good!

That was 5 months ago, unfortunately, given that timeframe, there is nothing we can do. There could be several reasons the decal is peeling including outside elements, user error, and weather. We unfortunately are not liable for replacing the decal. I am again very sorry for the inconvenience.

What I can and will do is refund the shipping cost, so you incur no extra charges. You will receive a credit memo momentarily reflecting the reversal of funds.

When ordered it said all parts were in stock, when i got my order 2 items were backordered, i did get my hat a few days later but i am still waiting on my water pump rebuild kit and the order was short the drain plug gaskets it said 2 were shipped but only 1 in a baggy.

Backorder vs shipped
February 24, 2022

My experience was strange. I placed the order and shortly got an email saying the item was backordered about 6 week. Then, less than an hour later I got another message saying that it shipped! Its since come in the mail and is in great shape.

Obviously a quick mix up but otherwise PartsVu was great.

It was a problem with shipping through the US Postal Service, as my Post Office returned the first shipment. After contacting your customer service representative all was resolved. You shipped my order UPS and it finally arrived today in great condition and I am happy. Thanks to everyone at PartsVu, especially the customer service team.

1st experience with Partsvu:
April 3, 2022

Placed a order for a set of steering cables for a bass boat on 3/18/22, received confirmation email on 3/19/22. Received another email once item shipped on 3/23 and item showed up by UPS on 3/28/22. Steering cables were sticking in the through the box when I received it, but I am pretty sure it was caused during transit. Item itself did not appear damaged. Installed cables in boat 4/2/22 and sunburnt looking like a boiled crawfish by 4/3/22. Boat steers like a dream now! Item was as advertised and was cheaper on Partsvu than anywhere else that I was able to find online. Definitely recommend shopping through Partsvu.

Backorder
March 20, 2024

I ordered a Yamaha tach 8 days ago, it's been over a week and I didn't receive a tracking number so I called today, sounds like the Yamaha tach that I ordered was out of stock so they had to order one from Yamaha, even when I bought it said they had in stock
Now they don't know when they will receive the tach and I have to add 5 to 7 days for them to ship it to me
Terrible business!
Never buying again from here

Sometimes you can get your parts quick and cheeper on parts vu. But latly have had issues where orders where processing for over a week. When my parts finally arrived only 1 of 3 items where in the box. Now have to try and deal with custmer service to figure out what is going on. As a industry professional I would not rely on having your parts on time. Upset customers.

PartsVu attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

This was sold as a new prop, but it had been ran

This was sold as a new prop, but it had been ran. The box was retaped, there are minor scratches on the prop that would not be there if truly new, and you can see where the exhaust had stained the inside of the prop including the brass hun which is usually nice and shiny when new. I am not happy with that aspect, but it does not appear to be hurt so I willing to accept it. I assume someone bought it, ran it, didn't like the performance and returned it. Will I have the same courtesy? I have 2 other props that I don't need based upon same trials and tribulations. Short of that, I am happy with the service, and fair price for the prop.
