I orderedrear blade wiper for my car.
The order came quickly, but unfortunately it did not fit my car.
The customer service said that of course I can return it, but I have to pay the shipping costs. Why?
If I chose a specific model for a specific car supposed to work, if not this is not my fault.
Is hard to contact them.
I ordered trailer hitch. Hitch came with no hardware. I called Partsgeek and it was very difficult to get customer service on the phone. Finally i reached customer service and they told me they don't sell hardware. And they not responsible for this. And if i want return i have to pay for shipment. Finally i called distributer in Michigan and they send me hardware.
They sent me an item for a ext. Cab teuck instead of a crew cab. It was clearly their fault and would not re-imburse my return shipping. They just so happened to be out of the one I needed for an exchange. The pictures were of the item I needed but they switched the order.
Twice ordered the same part as it indicated it was in stock - the second time after speaking to their customer service on the phone to confirm, only to receive an email stating the part was in backorder and that the order was being cancelled and to check back in 1-2 weeks.
They send me wrong part I got a 03 told them they sent a 01 part what ripp off company don't buy crap from them go to the better site or dealer ship
I ordered exhaust for my Honda Pilot. Everything was processed the next day. The tracking order for UPS was bogus. I attempted to call their "CUSTOMER SERVICE" After being on hold for an absolute unacceptable amount of time, I was greeted by the RUDEST and uncaring person I had ever spoke with. I got no help and ask to be transferred to a supervisor. That's when I met Dwayne. Dwayne must be a trainer because he is just as rude and unhelpful as the rest! I was told that UPS damaged the exhaust and returned it without delivering it to me? Needless to say I had to file a dispute with the credit card company to be refunded! Can I give 0 stars?
I ordered rear break lights for my 2001 Chevy Silverado. When the boxes arrived, they looked as if they were ejected from a transfer truck at highway speed. They were not "broken" but they were not in new condition; they were scratched badly. I desperately needed the lights for inspection purposes and Parts Geek had a very competitive price. I informed Parts Geek customer service and they told me to try and get partial reimbursement from the shipping company. What?!? This is not a good way to handle this; I didn't hire the shipping company. I've been stonewalled. I suggest not using Parts Geek.
I placed an order for which they charged me $8.96 for shipping. When I got the part it was used and wasn't the one they had on the picture. And the nightmare started for me, I had to contact them in order to get an authorization to be able to return the part I was emailing back and forth with their Refund dept (over a week) which even asked me for pictures where you were able to see that the part was all scratch up, however they said It wasn't enough proof for them to pay for refund. I had to pay $44.46 to refund the part and when they gave me the refund they only did it for the part not including what I have paid them for shipping 8.96. I lost more than $50.00 on this. I had never had to pay this much to refund something and never had to get authorization to be able to return anything that I have order online and I do order a lot online. Will never order from here again and will not recommend this website to anyone
I bought a complete TRQ front suspension system for my 2008 Saturn Aurora and rear shocks. Wheel bearings, lower control arms with ball joints, Struts and shocks, stabilizer rods, control linkage, and inner and outer tie rods, and rear shocks. After installation, my frontend still sounds like it is coming loose, yet everything is tight. Took it to a shop to diagnose it and they said my front struts are making noise.
Called to see about return or exchange options and was told they would refund my money if I sent all the parts back. The problem with that is I already through away the original parts. The new rear shocks I put on, took them off to reseat them better, went to reinstall them and the screw metal is so soft they stripped out and I had to buy another brand.
Please don't waste your time with TRQ Parts, you will only have to redo it at a much greater expense.
Earlier last month I wrote a review about customer service and the gasket they said I needed for an oil pan I bought from them, I did not need the gasket and they wanted me to pay for shipping to send it back, I did all this and spoke with customer service and they just refunded me the cost of the part and the shipping, so this place is getting real good taking care of there customers, I will definitely shop here again when I need automotive parts. Way to go
I ordered a flywheel and was sent a FedEx tracking number on Wednesday PM July 1st. Knowing that Friday is a holiday (observance of July 4th on July 3rd) I made sure I placed the order so the holiday would have little effect on my delivery. My part sat there for FOUR days until finally was scanned by FedEx the first time Sunday PM. They can't use the holiday excuse. Somebody took off mentally or physically early for the 4th and screwed me on my car repairs. Bad business
We ordered brake parts and used THERE suggestion for our car and it was there mistake and do not fit the car and they wont take partial returns even thou there like new and was not our mistake. Buyer beware with this company!

I ordered upper arm controls
It was a breeze installing until I couldn't slip the upper ball joint into the spindle knuckle
I tried and tried... For about an hour. HS!
Turns out the upper ball joint on the arm was a hair too big after I remove the mf and compared to old one. I was so PISSED that I just went down literally a block and got them from Advance Auto. Parts Geek was awesome and understanding. They paid for return and got refund in 10 business days after approval and you get an email to let you know your refund was approved. So idk
My experience was top notch
Purchased a cooling fan for a 1985 Pontiac Fiero. They sent a defective (unbalanced) fan. We could not figure why there was a vibration after putting in the new fan motor and fan. Motor was removed and checked to be perfect. We reinstalled motor and fan and still have vibration. We checked all mounting points and any interferences, all good. Finally, bought another fan from GM Parts Direct, it works great. Tried to return defective fan and Parts Geek said it was after 30 days. Sad, con men like these get away with shafting customers. Don't buy from Parts Geek, you will be sorry. There are many others to buy from that are better and offer better service.
I order a part it didnt match my car the refund is a headache I have been waiting for almost a month for my money back and the costumer service reps a rude and will hang up the phone in your face you literally getting what you paying for cheap service I will never buy from this company again
They stole my money. I paid 200 for a complete strut assembled pkg with shock absorbers. The struts did not come complete. So i returned them and only got 1/3 of my money back. I did everything they asked and still didnt get all my money. Im reporting. T o bbb consumer affairs and State attorney General bad experience.
Remove the annoying as $#*! chatbox that pops up every minute trying to shove automated half-$#*! service down my throat. It's annoying enough to make me never use the site again, Rock Auto is better. Use Rock Auto. Remove the the $#*!ing chat box.
This was my first experience with PartsGeek. The box they shipped the heavy items in was flimsy and not able to withstand the Fedex experience. There was no shipping label inside. I ordered a set of front brake pads and 2 front rotors. The package came with the pads, one rotor, and a package of ethernet cables for computers. It had been smashed and retaped a few times.
When I tried to call them they did not answer the phone. The tried to email me. Then they said that I had to return all of the parts and reorder them all. I would have to pay for the return shipping and take it to Fedex. The supervisor that I finally got ahold of was named Gustavo and it was clear that he could not possible care less about any of this. I would have to wait 3 days for a response from customer service or the supply center for instructions or an RMA number.
This is not the company that you want to be dealing with.
It seems like every time something is ordered from these guys it gets returned. I ordered door repair kit and they sent an actuator how the $#*! does that happen? But what's bad is THEY made the mistake and i STILL have to pay postage..
Avoid this company, they only have a 30 day return policy Amazon has a 90 day reutrn policy. I ordered parts for a long block which took longer then 30 days to recieve. They have no problem sticking you with the parts you can not use! This is the thank you I got for ordering over $500.00 in parts from them.
Answer: Because they're unprofessional, unethical, communist fuckin jackasses!
Answer: Parts geek had the rudest and most infuriating customer service I've encountered ever.
Answer: You'll pay plenty for shipping and if they give you the wrong part, you'll pay to ship it back. It's in their terms. You pay shipping both ways, regardless of fault.
Answer: Because they are either crooks, or they have some nut in the warehouse grabbing whatever and sending it to you even if it's wrong wrong wrong!
