Very upset and disappointed customer

I am very very upset and disappointed in the way the way handle my order was dealt with. I ordered a set of brake parts for my vehicle over a week ago that clearly indicating on the website the items were in stock. The mechanic is anxiously awaiting the parts: now to find out more than a week later that the parts that is showing in stock is actually out of stock. To make matters worse Parts Avatar fail to update me in advance that the parts were not in stock, it was only after I sent an email enquiring on the status of the parts that Parts Avatar sent back a response that I will have to wait 1-4 weeks to get the parts. This is very unprofessional and very much dishonorable to a loyal customer that consistently purchase from yuo guys.
To add insult to injury I got a notification indicating now the remaining parts to the order was now shipped. Who told you guys I need the remaining parts since you can't complete the order? What can I do with brake sensors and pads with no rotors? This is ludicrous...I will not be purchasing from you guys again. I am very disappointed as I previously pointed out.
I sent an email to ALEX M in customer service and he/she did not have to courtesy to respond back with an update. I wish I can complete this review without any stars because this does not deserve a half star.

Wrong size on the rotors
June 29, 2023

I brought 2 rear rotors for my 2018 dodge grand caravan. They are smaller (305 mm) than my original one (328 mm). On the website said they fit my van. But they are wrong. Now I can't return them because it passed 30 days. The parts number is 8-*******. I am not happy with this site. They shouldn't sell wrong part size. The mistake is on their end not ours.

Sent damaged parts

My parts were damaged in shipping, basically getting hung out to dry by their team, want me to pay for a replacement then send them the broken one so I can sit around for weeks waiting on the parts and out twice as much money

False advertising = bad parts

I ordered Raybestos Rotors from Parts Avatar (R-Line rotors). I ordered on Feb 2023 and writing this in May 2023. The rotors have already become warped. I had my entire braking system checked and there is no issue (no sticking caliper, no bad pads, nothing) but even then the rotors have not even lasted me 3 months. When I wanted to go through warranty, they said warping does not cover. Also, the brakes I got said it was coated to prevent corrosion... what a lie that was. Now I am down $170 for brakes that lasted me less than an oil change. Will never be ordering parts from this scam of a store. Not happy with their parts not their customer

We ordered parts for our customers Land Rover. We received a box with heavy brake rotors and two sets of heavy pads in it. Inside the box, they also threw in the two brake pad sensors we ordered with no protective packaging or paper or bubble wrap. One of the sensors was crushed by the brake rotors banging around in the box.

Reached out to the company via three email addresses on their site. Day one, no answer. Reach out via chat and was told they will look into the problem... no response. Now we are on day two with still no resolution or contact from them.

They obviously have no sense of urgency or care about the issues that sometimes arise. They care little about the end user having to wait. I'm actually sad to say that this is a Canadian based company like we are.

Complete disappointment
June 17, 2023

It was my first and last experience with this company. I regret I decided to deal with partsavatar and I will never buy anything from them again.

I bought the following items (Order No: 81E7OH1MA):

Front Semi Metallic Pads by EUROROTOR - F1D843H
Rear Semi Metallic Pads by EUROROTOR - F1D1055

Firstly they promised to deliver the order on May 5th but I got it just on May 9th after multiple emails with their support.

Secondly it turned out that the pads do not fit my car even though they advertise them as compatible with 2005 FORD ESCAPE V6-181 3.0L DOHC.

As the pads have scratches appeared within the installation process they would not refund the order.

Stay away!

New Axles Vibrates horribly
June 16, 2023

I bought these to install on my mazda 5 to replace oem axles. Turned out it was the worst decision ever. It made the car vibrates horribly and warranty requires to sell parts back on buyers expense for replacement which costs alot. I am installing back the OEM axles. Save yourself time and trouble and dont buy these cheap axles

They stated that "As we checked the part Alternator Belt by BANDO USA - 6PK940 you ordered is for the alternator and you require Serpentine Belt that's why the part didn't fit. This not true,; this car does not have a serpentine belt, only a power steering belt and an alternator belt/ ac belt!, they will not pay for return shipping or give a refund. Now I have another part that I can not use.

I have never ever left any review for any store but this time.

As a first time user i didn't get the promotion they offered on their website, that's fine, just 10% i am ok with that.

I placed the ordered for a set of front and rear brakes a week before my appointment with my shop, the latest delivery eta were shown as a day before the appointment, the front brake arrived just in time, but they don't have any notification of backorder or signs like "only one remaining" like Rockauto for the rear brake on their website, and did not even email me about this situation until the front brake had been delivered, man, it is been a whole week and you don't need to ship the front if you don't have the rear, i ordered a set not a a piece!

I quickly ordered another set and chose "pick up in store" as they said it can be picked up the next day which would be right on my appointment date, so 2 days later, they are still showing my parts are being prepared for shipping, the customer service told me it would be good to pick up in the next 24 hours? Man, just don't promise anything if you cannot make it!

I went to the pick up location without receiving any email from them and luckly my parts were there already for pick up. I returned the previous delivered front pads at the store while picking up the new and they charged me 15% of restocking fee, I don't inow why a customer should go through all of these inconvenience caused by their own mistake and still be charged for restocking fee, if they really feel "sorry for any inconvenience" like what they said at the beginning of every reply to my emails and the poor google reviews, they should do something rather than just keep repeating these meaningless SORRY!

Oh one more thing, I email their customer service and requested the phone extension of their service manager to discuss my issue in person and they simply refused to do so, so the only "guy" you can talk to are just some dead robots who won't provide any help, they just want to piss you off LMAO

However, as we checked, our team contacted you via email to inform you about the out-of-stock part. We had to process the refund as we could not find a substitute. As the parts were not ordered as a kit, the rest of the order got shipped and delivered.

We forwarded a request for the 10% discount to the concerned department. You will receive a confirmation email once the discount is applied from our end.

It takes minimum 24-48 hours for the order to be ready for pickup, once you've placed your order. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused due to any delay. We will try to do better next time.

However, if a part is returned because it is not required, our policy does require a restocking fee on returned items. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope you understand. I ordered Left New CV Axle Shaft by CARDONE INDUSTRIES - *******. 3 months and 3000 km later, the new axle is clicking when turning just after startup, and giving me vibrations between 50 and 70 kph.
Parts Avatar says to order a new one, then return the old one. How can I do that if I don't trust the outcome will be any different?There is also amount of time and extra expenses involved in installing an axle (e.g. Transmission oil).

Very poor customer service
June 10, 2023

Ordered two parts from them which qualified for free shipping. Once the order was processed, they let me know one item wasn't in stock (although displayed on the website as still in stock). Asked the customer service attendant if I could refund the order so that I can qualify for free shipping on next order to which he refused me a refund multiple times, saying 'the order cannot be modified once allocated.' Then he just sent a refund without explaining what had changed. I then asked him to confirm the stock of parts which I wanted to order (as the parts I had ordered still showed in stock although they were just cancelled) to which he didn't want to check and said I can see stock levels online.

Very bad english skills and not helpful at all. Didn't want to help me with my issue and just wanted to end the chat.

J'ai acheté un Étrier de frein chez Avatar dont j'ai retourné le core et le support neuf qui ne s'adapte pas au Kia Niro Hybrde plug-in. Ma commande était au no 81F44L1FM. J'explique ci-bas pourquoi:

Le support d'Étrier fourni par Avatar Parts est fait pour le Kia Niro hybride 2019 non plug-in qui possède un disque de frein 10 po de diamètre, tandis que le Kia Niro hybride rechargeable 2019 a un disque de frein de 11 po de diamètre. C'est pourtant pour le Plugin que cette étrier est annoncé sur le site. Il ne s'adapte pas sur la version Niro Plug-in.

De plus, j'avais demandé à Hayden, votre représentant de m'assurer que cet item était compatible en fournissant le NIV de mon véhicule, il m'a assuré que c'était compatible pour Kia Niro Hybride rechargeable (plug-in) 2019

Notez aussi que c'est moi qui a payé les frais de retour du core et du support neuf inadéquat pour mon véhicule.

Horrible service

Can't even get a full refund cause they won't let u cancel an order. Why even have a cancellation button if u can't even use it. Can't even talk to someone on the phone, useless

I ordered tire pressure monitoring system for vehicle they showed the part in the picture then sent a completely different part. When i contact them they tell me their pictures are generic and may not represent the product you are buying. Their representative says all big company do this. Complete B.S. TOTALLY ILLEGAL to misrepresent what you are selling in Canada. The picture must represent the actual part. Glad I used PayPal. I have started a claim with papal because this company cant be trusted.

I have ordered many parts for my 1980 F100 and am very pleased that I can get them from a Canadian store. Parts Avatar provides quality products, excellent delivery. It is my first choice when searching for parts. I find the prices very good and delivery is fast. In my purchases, products are either OE or OEM.
I also ordered OEM parts for a 2020 Rav 4.
