Waste of time!

Gave me the wrong part and are haven't accepted my request to refund yet. I cant wait around till they send me a replacement which is a very slow process with the Rep who has been helping me Nicholas. I have been dealing with this for a couple days and please see pics to see how " Polite and helpful" they are to their customers.

BEWARE...I bought these tires from Parts Avatar 24 months and 26 days ago, the car has been stored /parked for Winter, only to notice all four tires show severe cracking, don't be caught by this so called special as these tires are not suitable for Canadian harsh cold weather.

Ordered parts on Monday, website said free shipping, and when I went to check out it also had free shipping, parts were supposed to arrive between Apr 27 and may 4th, today, Apr 28th, I get an email stating that I now have to pay $175 for shipping as they can't send them as regular courier, not sure how that's now my problem, to top it off there website states they're located in Edmonton, and I live within a 3 hour drive of Edmonton, seems a bit excessive to me and the only reason I ordered was because of free shipping, otherwise would have ordered somewhere else.
UPDATE: so they gave me no flexibility, it was either pay the shipping or cancel the order, I need my parts asap, my truck had already been parked a week and going to a normal parts store would have still been more expensive so I said screw it and payed the shipping, only now to find out they have sent my parts as 3 SEPERATE packages, 2 of which are coming from Ontario and won't be here till next week, and the 3rd package still hasn't been shipped so who knows when I'll see it. So learn from my mistake and just order from rockauto or your local parts store, at least they won't $#*! you around like this place

We admit the fact that it is in our shipping policy that free shipping is applicable on orders at or over CAD$ 75.

Unfortunately, this is one odd case where we are unable to get the order shipped out without charging the extra shipping cost which is the minimum of the overall shipping charges we are paying for the order.

Regarding the shipment, we have checked with the warehouse and have been conveyed that your complete order has left our warehouse and is en-route. It is confirmed that the parcel has definitely been shipped. Please wait for some time.

Horrible Company

Ordered the simplest items, black lug nuts 11 days ago. Got the runaround every time I asked where my order was. Got the order and 50 chrome lug nuts showed up rattling around in a box which horrified me and the person at the post office. Went into the company's chat and the horrible customer service said everything on their site was generic and very rarely matches the picture and offered me no more than a refund. As this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had ordering online, I will never shop Parts Avatar again nor will I ever recommend their company to anyone.

In the one picture you can see what I received and in the 2nd picture you can see what was advertised. Misleading much?

They send you a wrong part then make you jump through hoops to prove to them it was wrong to get them to send return label. Just buy from the local parts store, it's not worth saving a few bucks dealing with their "customer support" department.

Second time dealing with partsavatar.ca, and disappointment was at the highest level.
I place an order, and the next day they ask me to confirm that I'm legit buyer by verifying the tiny amount that was sent in my bank account. I do that and reply to the email with the amount. No one replies to me that now the order is good to go. I check the website the next day and I read "Preparing for shipping". OK.
I then ask on the chat if I can add another order and have it shipped with the other parts that are being prepared. I waited 30 minutes and no agent replied to me. I let this go and wait for my original order to be shipped. A week goes by and I decide to contact them and ask why the parts haven't been shipped yet and after one agent reads my question, he disappeared and another agent with different name appears and I have to explain all over again. He then says that the parts will be shipped in the next 24 hours, and just while I was chatting with him, I receive an email from partsavatar.ca to let me know that my order was cancelled and refunded. I was really mad. And after dozen of apologies from the agent that has been taught to say that word repeatedly, I refuse to accept the apologies. The matter escalates, and I hope they will do something to extinguish my anger, but guess what? THEY OFFERED ME 10%off. 10%?! Anyone without any complaint can get 10% off, any day of the year.

PartsAvatar sucks! I'll never buy from them again. 0 responsibility taken.

I replaced the control arm assembly, sway bar links, sway bar bushings in an attempt to eliminate the noise. I had a couple mechanics that couldn't figure the cause for the noise. Now the noise has turned into a loud rattle noise in addition to the popping sound. A mechanic has now confirmed it was a bad strut assembly all along but it was very difficult to isolate until it got so bad. I asked parts avatar I'd they could at least sell me a replacement part at cost since it is out of warrant being 1 1/2 years old. I explained how i waisted time and a lot of money due to the bad strut. Basically they said no that I could simoly pay full price for another assembly. $380.00. I am retired and my wife is on disability so this is not small change for us. Very disappointed in Parts Avatar and KYB struts.

Return on warranty

Partsavatar does provide the worse service on returns. How can I return something and pay the same if not more for postage than the item. If you don't have a permanent place for returns and only deal through postage, you should be able to provide shipping cost. If I could give a zero star review, I will do that. It is appalling.

Ordered parts on a Monday and Friday they still haven't shipped. Worst place ever to get parts from. This is the last time I will ever buy anything from them as I had the same shipping issues with them before but gave another try. Ordered from another supplier on same day from same area and received them on Wednesday. Don't buy here if you're in a hurry to fix your vehicle! And they will not refund or cancel my order. This place is a joke! I'd give a zero if I could.

I ordered tie rods for my 09 civic. Its been over a month since last tracking update. I can't connect with a live chat agent, they wouldn't respond to my email. Seems like an outright scam.

Slow to ship, 7days and not shipped yet. In fact only a label is created to missleading customers. Called Purolator and they confirmed that items not picked yet as partsavatar is saying. Get your parts from a better place where you can call and speak to someone not chat

Slow preparation for shipping, slow delivery. Expect at least 2-3 weeks of wait time until parts to be delivered to your place. And when you contact the online agent they just kept on telling me the same thing. Called them on Wednesday after two weeks of waiting, they replied the parts will be delivered by friday, and by friday i contacted them again they said it's weekend time please get back to us on the monday...what a joke...if you are looking for parts in a hurry please just shop at some local stores and they are not that much more tbh...saves you much more time.

Shipping times are wrong

Hard to trust this company when your order is stuck in "preparing for shipping" for an entire week. My estimated shipped to my house date has been passed and it's still preparing. Support couldn't provide any solution but to keep waiting. I won't be shopping here again.
