Out of all the parts I've ordered from Parts Avatar I've only had one issue. I ordered front pads for my Legacy and although I was able to use them it was very difficult to install them. They were extremally tight and squeaked a lot. Even my mechanic commented on how tight they were.
Other than that, everything has been great. I would like the ability to comment on individual parts to help other costumers make the right decision. I think that would be a huge help.
Overall I would recommend parts avatar over other online parts suppliers.

When I ordered the Rear Parking Brake Shoe, website showed it was still in stock.
But only after a week, Support team informed out of stock and waiting time 1-4weeks, I understand issue may happen and agree to wait for it
But after 5weeks, they still not sure when restock. So, I thought they would use an alternative part to compensate the issue. But very disappointed, after all the waiting time and hassles, they still charged me the part without mentioning it and proceeded it as a regular order.

Don't buy a single thing from these poor business people. Warranty means absolutely nothing. They don't have a phone number. Agents are useless. I've spent thousands here and the don't know what the word customer service means. Go to a local store and pay a little more and get proper caring warranty and help. Parts Avatar is nothing like Rock Auto. Run fast. I mean fast. They also lie about the warranty. Limited lifetime means one year and you pay pay pay. Take my advice from someone in the parts business. They don't know how to treat people. Awful experiences on anything after sale. The savings aren't savings!

These guys are clowns! Especially Jacob. Part wont work and because they have a policy they cant come up with a solution to fix the issue. Don't bother dealing with Parts Avatar. After purchase support is junk!

First, I ordered an exhaust manifold. The price was great. Then it arrived at my home. Exhaust donut gasket was all crushed. They did not wan't to replace it, only thing they did was give me 5% cash of what it was worth, which didn't do nothing cause this gasket can't sell anywhere by unit.
Second time, it was shapping that spark plugs were qualifying for free shipping, hell it was charging 16$ for shipping in my cart. Talked to the service bot, and it said shipping was free, then that I jad to pay.

Bought new rotors and they were damaged they refused to give me a refund and said I had to return them 4 hours drive or ship them back. Told them multiple times I couldn't and my car was on the jack wheels and rotors off…. Missing work this week because they couldn't refund me the money. Will have to wait until payday to buy ANOTHER pair from my local retailer…. Absolutely horrible customer service they're more worried about getting their broken parts back than actually helping people out. Stay away.

Ordered a front and rear brake kit (pads + rotors). When I go to install the front brake pads I realize that they sent me the wrong product. I email them to try to find a solution and after 2 weeks they tell me there is nothing they can do for me. It is obvious they didn't even read the emails that I sent because they kept asking for info that was clearly stated in my prior emails. I wish I had never ordered from PartsAvatar.
