This company requires you to take a picture of your credit card, photo ID and also yourself holding your credit card before they accept you as a customer. If they decline you they will not tell you why and will instead simply close your ticket without explaining why. They also require you to upload these pictures to a sus website and "promise" to delete the pictures afterwards. Extremely suspicious company with absolutely no customer service. I had to reopen my ticket twice just go get a reply that said, "we will not tell you the reason why you were declined." Like I get it guys, decline me, but at least be direct about why.

I'd purchased a vps plan on 18th sept, tried to setup 3 times but always returned with some error. The first time issue with root access, 2nd time issue with outdated command and third time with securing vps,
I give up after 3rd attempt and wanted to cancel the vps, but their cancel form always returned with error.
Then i'd opened support ticket to cancel the order, they replied after 3 days "Please note that we offer the refund only if there are any hardware faults"
I explained then next day they replied "Our billing team has reviewed your refund request and we regret to inform you that you are not eligible for a refund."
Their stupid server not workings and now they don't refund for it too.
I lost my money but you better be careful.
2 problems in the same month. I had a website with an application for patient tracking that cost me $20,000. The email associated with my account was that of my programmer who no longer works for the company. During the renewal, I was never notified and when I realized the problem, it was too late, there was no way to recover my site, I lost everything. Another problem that I just had, I reserved a domain name a month ago. I received the confirmation of the domain name as expected. I went to install WordPress on the website, received confirmation that everything was done, tested it, and it didn't work. I opened a ticket, which they closed telling me that everything was correct. I opened more tickets, and the same scenario played out every time, they told me that everything was correct. They told me to call CIRA to confirm my domain name, and that they would resolve everything quickly. I called CIRA and after talking with the support, the guys told me that the domain is not reserved... I call OVH to tell the new and two minutes later, they cancelled my invoice without even telling me. I called OVH for more details, and they told me that there was a registration problem and they decided to cancel it, the easiest thing for them to do.
After the fire they just concentrated to their infrastructures. They leaved alone their customers without service and without data. An auxialary server for the customers it would have been a solution for a rapid interaction to the users keep somehow they work (eg. Load back from a local backup). But they did not communcated directly with the customers (ovh did not replied to the tickets and did not picked up the phones. And ovh did not given any help to the users) whos therefore lost lots of work, money and business (a complete life). They caused for the customers a very big damage! It seems for ovh the customer is not important, just the customer's money.
Everything seems to have gone to garbage with OVH. It's like what happened with their servers a couple of years ago: a dumpster fire. The interface is HORRIBLE, some times it doesn't even load and you're stuck endlessly waiting for it to just display. I'll have time to write my review before this garbage loads.
The UI is horrible and I can't understand why they don't do anything about that. They have millions and improving the UX would make a big difference in getting and keeping customers.
The second thing that is appaling is their customer and technical support. If you want to TALK to someone, just to take an answer about an error that may be caused by their garbage service, you have to pay a hefty annual fee! It's so gross.
The only reason I keep domain names to OVH is because they wouldn't transfer it quickly and I'd have websites down for a week or two. But even as a registrar their service sucks because their interface is so bad.
It pains me to say that as it's a French service and I'd like to support it. But if you're a new customer, stay away from that host. It's really, really bad.

I tried their 50GB Additional disks, and it cannot be cancelled. They charged me $8 for the 2nd month, I create a ticket to cancel it and asked for a refund, after 5 days now, they still not responding!
Great servers. Very BAD SUPPORT. HOWEVER! If you know what your doing, they are great as actually they provide a easy to use GUI to reformat the server, put it into recovery mode meaning that they support is not actually required.
I'd recommend purely for the advance IT person who knows how to manage servers as support does not translate to well into french with them.

Service mediocre, support mediocre, et expérience utilisateur plus mediocre.
This is an absolute nightmare of a company: whenever you have a problem, you are directed to standard "solutions" for whatever question you have, which never lead to a resolution of the problem. They are also impossible to contact. I would definitely look elswhere for your hosting.

I was with OVH for nearly 10 years and thought they were a good company. How wrong I was!
They took my whole server offline for over 2 days with over 36 high level clients on it just because one of my clients' website was hacked with phishing files. Despite the phishing files being deleted the minute we were notified by the OVH Abuse team on Friday morning, they still took down the server on Friday night for the whole weekend. It's now Monday afternoon and they still have not put my server back online. The tech support says I have to wait for the email from Abuse team because they can't do anything due to being a separate Dept. I sent the numerous emails to their Abuse team with no response since Friday! And I am still waiting. As a result, I lost 8 clients as of today over the weekend and over $15,000 in revenue from those clients. I am speaking to a lawyer about suing OVH for loss of business and bad business practice. WARNING! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OVH! THEY ARE THE WORST!
I have purchased a dedicated server and I saw in plan detail 256IP was included and when I signed in to my account, there was no IP's and I write some tickets and they didn't respond after one day. I called them and asked about the IP's, they told me you have to pay extra fee for every single IP's and I had purchased couple IP's and paid immediately but it's take one day to get activate. That was terrible experience that I had with them.
I have been an OVH customer for 5 years, and I never had good support from them. It was mostly okay since I didn't really need support most of the time, but about 2 weeks ago, my VPS went down completely, on its own, without us doing anything. And when we rebooted from their OVH manager page, it didn't come back. No SSH, no WHM, couldn't even ping the server. No access whatsoever. Same in the rescue mode. (Same inaccessibility issue whether we reboot in regular mode or rescue mode). Their KVM didn't launch either. So, it was completely dead. So, it was them who had to do something about this, there was no way the customer can do anything. But they kept responding to the support ticket by asking us to reboot the server in rescue mode, and/or use their KVM to fix it ourselves. Even after explaining the issue the way I did in this post, they kept coming back with the same response. Very frustrating. Just gave up trying to reason with them, and requested a refund of the last payment, from the day the server went down to the end of the current billing period. And requested to terminate the service. They haven't responded to that ticket either. I don't think I will be getting my money back. The good thing is I was uploading my daily and weekly backups to an external backup environment, and I have my data. Otherwise, it doesn't look like I would even be able to recover the data. Terrible service, terrible company. Stay away.

Support request are not handled at all, tickets opened waited 3 days, had to call multiple times on the phone to get them to check, and even after that they just wrote a standart tekst in the ticket.
I bought a dedicated server with 500mb up and down, max I could get was 30mb network, sometimes it would go to 100mb, but 99% of the time not above 50.
After 2 weeks of problems and strugle I have canceled the service and now trying to contact them to stop their auto payment taking money from my account.
