Rating 0! I placed an order on the 12/21 and paid for express delivery for 12/24 arrival. When the package didn't arrive by Christmas Eve, I called and was told the shipping company had a 3 day order fulfillment policy and I would have the order by the 29th. It was a Christmas gift but I also needed a birthday gift so I accepted the delay, with a refund of the express shipping. I called to check on the 28th and was told it was in route by no later than the 30th. I received an email on the 30th. They never had the item. It was never shipped and the employees lied about all the shipping information. No gift for Christmas or the birthday! I did receive a refund, but with all the lies I'm stuck trying to find a replacement at the last minute. I will never order from them again!

The lead tells it all. Were they kidding me? No, an acceptable substitution by Overstock's standards. I am not sure what kind of home these standard setters live in, but not home I have ever been in would be equally served with an end table in front of the sofa instead of a coffee table. I had to return this fiasco and buy an end table at a local store. When mistakes like this are made, you are only given one chance. I am through with Overstock.com. A David
They are always quick to ship and offer great customer service. Typically, they have great quality and free shipping. I love being a gold member and getting 5% back on all my purchases. Love them!

Used to be great deals but they have gotten greedy. You can find a better deal usually on Amazon. But Amazon rips off their sellers to make their profits... big racket.
I order alot of items from overstock. I can say if something is wrong customer service will correct it promptly. I have not been disappointed as of yet.

We ordered the Li'l Rider alien car for our grandson for Christmas. From the time he saw it, he loved it. He is 2-1/2 and got on and immediately knew how to run it. It is such a sturdy toy and the lights ar amazing. It came so fast from Overstock. I was surprised. Definitely recommend the toy as well as the company. It was packed well and the price was excellent.
Well they send me an Xbox one I've wanted for over 2 years and my mom finally got it. From here and it connected to the controller that came with it but if you try to sync another one the Xbox won't even do anything! It's broken and I have to send it back and hopefully get a working one! Thanks a lot for making my Christmas with a broken Xbox! Means a lot!
Customer service and response time for questions and returns was excellent. I received a damaged product and asked how I could return it. They responded immediately and arranged for a UPS pickup the very next day. Done. I waited for refund and did receive it in about 10 days (a little longer than quoted). When I inquired about when the refund would come they were quick to follow up, and - BAM! DONE.

Answer: Hey, I would be very careful. I have transacted with Overstock three times and I don't believe there is as much security in terms of guarantee as with Amazon. And, if you buy items fulfilled by Amazon (meaning the product ships from Amazon's warehouse) you are even more guaranteed. For example, I bought some dinner napkins from an Amazon seller, fulfilled by Amazon. They were not what they were supposed to be and Amazon issued me a credit immediately and scheduled UPS to pick up my item to return. I'm very confident that with Amazon you will get quality service and if the product is not as described or substandard you will be in better hands especially with Amazon fulfilled items. Overstock is just not up to par and I wouldn't purchase something like a medicated cream from Overstock until they get it together.
Answer: I used a credit card on Overstock when purchasing my bed. It was years ago, I still sleep on it. I had no problems using my credit card on Overstock
