Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is cheap here! There's too many other companies that provide much better deals. These other better companies or sites aren't secrets either! Walmart, Amazon, Ebay, Zulilly, Home Depot, Lowes, Jcpenny, ect. Just pick a store, any store, and you'll get much better prices.

I ordered some gorgeous white shag carpets here at a fraction of the cost of California Shag. The quality was nice, shipping was easy (even for large items), and the return policy is pretty generous.

I also ordered an eiffel chair that was to be assembled at home. The chair is gorgeous, but the instructions were incomplete, and it was hard to assemble. That said, the reviews for the chair warned me, but I took the chance.

Overall, the quality of all items offered varies, but by doing a bit of digital digging and reading the reviews, it's possible to get a great deal!

First experience with this company. I placed an order specifically on Dec. 14 for a pair of shoes that stated it would arrive in 3-6 business days. Specifically why I ordered through them. I called customer service 12/15/15 and the lady gave me a complete run around. 45 minutes of trying to tell me it could take 5-6 business days just to ship from the warehouse because it was a custom order. Custom? I said EVERYTHING on your website is custom because you don't manufacture any of the products you sell. Had asked to speak to a supervisor, not once but (3) times... - DEMANDED a supervisor who I cancelled the order with. He proceeded to tell me they would send over the cancellation request and once confirmed it didn't ship, they could cancel the order. WTF?!?!?! If it takes 5-6 business days to be picked why on God's green earth would it have shipped in less than 24 hours?! These people do not deserve ANY business whatsoever from anyone - DON'T GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED!

I have bought alot from overstock, returns have been easy, but always check internet for pricing, they do not always have the cheapest price, but they are reputable, don't have to worry about being ripped off like a site not as well known, shipping is cheap. A rug I bought which didn't match color in picture, was returned with no problems. Customer service always ready to assist. Great site. They also have a world site where you can buy hand made goods from All over the world giving people a chance to make money who really need it.

I felt I had to review this site- just to vent my frustration. I shopped for office chairs. I was happy to find several at a reasonable price- but each one I tried to purchase had a pop up note saying, 'sorry this promotion has ended,'. My feeling is if the promotion has ended, then the sale price should have been removed. How hard would that be? If feel the price should have been honored. I contacted customer service and they could have cared less. Just had to vent. I also am no longer a customer of overstock.com

Careful everyone! Watch out for Overstock's bait and switch! We purchased an item listed as a chair and ottoman, but when the order arrived, the delivery came short - it was missing the main item, the chair! So what did overstock do? They just changed the description on their website! So we are now stuck with the item that we don't need without the missing item. But Overstock won't make good on the order and send the missing item. We were going to purchase it at another site for only a few dollars more. Not they have no stock and were out of luck! So be careful, because Overstock's descriptions aren't accurate, they won't honor their word, and shopping there is a waste of time, money, energy, and very stressful! You can buy something, but wait for the surprise when you see what you actually get! Because there's a good chance it won't be what you ordered! And Overstock doesn't seem to care! Very bad service and unreliable!
