I was really interested in what this company had to offer and it was all really well presented, but it became very pushy and borderline rude towards the end. I went into a presentation meeting being clear about my intentions to see the product and compare to others I had in mind, but it became kind of bitter towards the end when I reiterated this. I was almost pushed into onboarding and when I stopped them, the tone completely changed and I even got hung up on. I felt the presenter got frustrated after I pulled back and that's when it went downhill. They just want you to throw your money at them and it doesn't work that way. I really was considering their services in a few months after being decently impressed by the presentation, but I won't be considering it now. Beware of this company.
This is the biggest scammer, The program does not bring result at all. It is literally a waste of money! The program is so generic and does not give you Return of your investment. They make their money through scamming you from the remaining balance from cancelling. Stay away from this company! Please refer of how many complaints filed for the same story! It does not bring any result of your investment! If they were good, of course people would not cancel.
I wish I would have read some of these negative reviews before signing up with this company. I went through my sales call with one of the account executives, and it was explained that Outbound Engine would have content for my business partners. The main reason I decided to proceed with Outbound Engine was so that I could engage my business partners. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I was also told that Outbound Engine would register my business on 72 different directories, during my onboarding call, it was explained that I would have to complete the directory information on my own for directories that I had already signed up for. Why would the sales person say that they would register me on these directories, and make sure that my existing information was correct on existing directories if that was not the case. It seemed too good to be true because it was. I tried to reach out to their customer success team and was promised a call on Monday, 5/16/22, no one reached out. I called back on Thursday to follow up, received a return call, the representative said that I signed a contract and tried to retain my business for a lower price. I wanted to cancel my services with Outbound Engine. I never used their platform and never got through my onboarding call because of all the discrepancies. Shame on them for handling the situation the way that the did. Where's the customer service that you provided me during your sales call? This company is definitely a scam and I would not recommend their services to anyone.
Do not waste your money with outbound engine. There is no result of the advertising they send out because they are so generic and does no reflect your business. There is no return of investment.
When you want to cancel, they want to charge you 3 more months for the service they don't perform.
Biggest Scammer!. If they program is good, people would not cancel. Please refer to the BBB and find out how many complaints filed against Outboundengine with the same story, trying to scam people when they want to cancel!
I've had this service for several years and now want to cancel as I am trying a different service. Canceling is very difficult and they are requiring a phone call. However, there is not a "specialist" to actually talk to. I've been attempting to have a conversation with them for 2 days. I suspect they make the cancellation process as difficult as possible so that agents get frustrated and keep the service. Planning to have my bank refuse more charges from them as their website does not allow you to delete your credit card information. Beware and think at least twice before getting involved with this company.
I contacted Outbound Engine on several occasions and advised that I wanted to cancel the service. They did credit me for one month prior to my cancellation date of December 15,2021. HOWEVER, I was billed on December 16th and when I called to ask why, I was told that my contract billing was until January 15. My contract expired on December 15. They refuse to refund the money.
ALSO, I DID NOT GET ANY LEADS FROM THIS AT ALL. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
I signed up for the program, thinking it was something that would be beneficial to me. You have to sign up on a SALES call, which goes over the product very quickly. Once I signed up, I explored my account on the program and determined that it was not a good fit for me. The product that I'm currently using for email touch campaigns is MUCH better and has more flexibility. Also, the website was not what I expected upon further examination. I was expecting that I could eliminate other services (website and email drip campaigns) by signing up for Outbound Engine. After spending time looking at the program, which you are not afforded before signing up, I immediately called them to cancel the account (nothing was sent out or posted on my behalf at that point). They told me I could not cancel without paying half of the yearly amount as a cancellation fee. CRAZY. Terrible customer service.
The same exact thing that is happening to the the previous people is happening to me. What they do here with this company is lie, I asked them to cancel my membership because the information they are providing one is not relevant to my industry, and secondly they are not producing what I've asked for, which was full social media management on all platforms, (Video Editing, Thumbnails, Hashtags). Outbound engine is the worst company I've ever worked with in my life. I ask to cancel my membership due to the irrelevant information and not getting what was promised by the sales agent and they say I'm locked into a 12 month agreement. I'm afraid I'm going to have to sew because I was lied to and was not given what was promised. I spoke with the solutions specialist and he told me nothing except to cancel id have to pay a cancellation fee. Outbound engine needs to be shut down and out of the real estate business for good. I've been charged multiple times and would like to never work with this company again, if your thinking about working with outbound engine DONT! Seeing the reviews here all being similar over and over again means somethings going on that shouldn't be.
When I initially spoke with the sales person to sign up with OutboundEngine, it sounded like a great way to fill in the gaps in my social media and email campaigns. However after a few months of utilizing their service, it's really just a bunch of boring articles that read no better than anything you can find online, and the social media posts just hurt my engagement because they are painfully generic. The account managers change out every couple of months, and our monthly "strategy" calls ended after month one. I already use boomtown, which they were aware of, and OutboundEngine does nothing to fill in the gaps and is a total waste of money. I have tried with no success to cancel this service, and each time I speak with someone, the cancellation fee goes up in price because I signed their ridiculous contract. My last quote was $1100 and the rep could not even explain why. What about their claims? I do not feel like this company is fulfilling their promises when I signed their "contract." DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS IF YOU DO ANY OF YOUR OWN MARKETING. The marketing you do on your own behalf will get more positive results to retrain and engage your client base.
OutboundEngine works well and we haven't had any issues with it so far. It simplifies many tasks that we don't have the time to carry out ourselves. It's easy to use and helps me stay in touch with people.
Great sales job with very bad customer service. Stay away. They have had our website disabled all weekend and as of now nobody cares are are not willing to help. You have been warned.
The service is very cost-effective for the amount of value it has brought to me and the business overall. The whole program is easy to use and the newsletters are always high-quality! They look professional and I don't have to worry about exposure to clients and keeping up with the latest marketing trends. Overall, I would highly recommend.
They will hound you to the ends of the earth to sign up and then charge months up front even before set up. They asked twice if I wanted my money back and I said yes and then nothing... Crooks...

So far, I've had a positive experience with every aspect of the Outbound Engine program that I've used. The customer service reps and the account managers have great follow through. I think it would be helpful to set up a call once a week or once every two weeks to get additional information, that way I know that I am maximizing my usage of the program. I like how I'm able to personalize all outgoing social media posts and that it's not just generic. I can have as much or as little involvement as I want.

All they want is your money! They lied to me over the phone. Said I could cancel with no obligation. Wrong, lie. When I went to cancel all they kept saying was that I had signed up for a year and would have to pay for half of the remaining months. Don't believe a word they say. Total Scam! (I was not allowed to give them no stars or I would have)

Definite sales pitch hooked me with look of their product but zero benefit getting client calls to list or referrals. The continued involvment from clients in my emails continued to go down over this long year. Plus! I never agreed to a year's worth of outbound business, but low and behold they said I did, so when I wanted to cancel after 6 months, I was unable. Buyer beware! You do not get your monies worth from this company.

We signed up with Outbound Engine with high hopes they would help us grow and post content for us. Thinking they would be able to do what they say they could, we signed a 1 year deal. After using them now for 4 months we are very unhappy with the product they offer! The content they post is not relevant and we have not gotten one lead from the service. We are stuck using them even thought the service is terrible, because we signed a 1 year contract. I would recommend going with another company.

I've done a lot of research on ways to improve my business, and I've read a lot of encouraging things about social media engagement, newsletters, and the importance of consistent outreach. However, I felt that we did not have the time and resources to implement cohesive practices until we found OutboundEngine.
