There are some members on this site who are under 50. Ran across a few in their 30s. This site promotes for members 50 and over. Need to filter out the ones who don't meet age requirements.
A lot of Profiles are fake, made by people who get paid to create profiles.
All they do is take your money and offer you other apps they say to help you be more successful but it's so they can get more money out of you.
There are real people on here.
But a lot of them live in another state.
And the real ones that are on there
I'm not really too interested in. They don't have a good selection
If I were you I would stay with the top five rated take a chance with them instead
This site is a scam. I have watched over the months how I will be bombarded with messages until I enroll and then all of a sudden the messages stop. I have also seen profile pictures continually change. I had one profile picture that was supposedly a "match" transform from an African American male to a white male. Whoever is orchestrating this site to rip people off should be reported.
I have been a member for 3 days and still can't get a password. They sure are fast at taking your first payment though. My question is how does the Better Business Bureau allow these rip-offs to stay in business?
Many fake profiles, and the ones that are not rarely respond. Why? Ourtime try to rope you in with extra expenses like they can make your profile more visible if you pay them extra, which I'm sure is illegal because they dont tell you this feature BEFORE you sign up. Total waste of time.
This is the worst site ever, so much advertising and scripts running. Its worse than the free sites. Changing screens feels like you have dial up. If you use your phone it constantly crashes. Constant interruptions for upgrades, more premium services, it just SUCKS, horrible!
You believe your signing up for one month and when you look at your bank statement OurTime has taken out a six month subscription fee…good luck getting it back. More fake profiles than real ones. I found a friend's profile that was canceled three years ago. Stay clear of Our Time.
As a subscriber Ourtime.com you get 100 profile suggestions/day.
- I daily discover so called scammer/misused pictures
- Over manipulated pictures with fake backgrounds, oversized upper arms, enlarged hands. Too obvious
- Pictures with under aged children
- Too many profiles have no picture, visiting your profile even sends a like to you
- For an additional fee you can browse other profiles incognito
On their web site is says: "Verified profiles"!
In the end of the day I wonder I pay for. All my contact with their customer service has worked well.
Joined in January. Most of the profiles don; t have pictures and/pr profiles written. I have got "interest " for no one local, have gotten inappropriate messages. Is nothing like what the commercials represent. Wish I had seen reviews prior to joining. Would NOT recommend this site to anyone- it's absolutely horrible. And they do not give refunds if you cancel your subscription - again wish I had looked into that.
I tried to check out Hinge and was automatically directed to this site I guess because of my age. I remembered not having a good experience once before, but decided to try it again. Nothing has changed! I've tried many x's to "delete selected" people I'm not interested in and they won't go away - do I really need to block them? Unsophisticated filter options. Limited profile information - where is there age and where they live when they message you? If you click on their message and then click on "profile," you cannot get back to the message without completely exiting out and starting over. Seem to be a lot of spambot profiles. I only signed up for one mo b/c of my bad experience last time and I won't be signing up again.
Beware - this site is loaded with scammers. I don't see that they do anything to verify members are real. Look out for those with heavy accents, fall madly in love with you quickly, say they travel internationally, never meet and of course eventually ask for money. I've had 3 send me to their fake "I own this company" website. I will not be extending my membership. Customer service didn't respond to my emails asking what they do to verify the member is real.
Rip off!
I cancelled my auto renewal and they decided to renew it anyway! Bull $#*! I say! They send all these fake likes right before and after your renewal date and when you cancel they then a window pops up for a cheaper rate. I hate getting ripped off! Used to be mush better. Also, there is about twenty of sites owned by the same media company!
I have absolutely nothing nice to say - men don't use their real names in profile. Not a good start. Some seem desperate to meet right away and others just want to be pen pals. I had one conversation with a guy that was terrible! The majority of men on this site were nobody I would ever want to meet. Ugh! If they are semi-attractive, they want a woman 10 years younger. The site is useless! What you can write about what is limited, can't see the competition, and the matches sent to me were terrible. I said Bachelor Degree or higher and they sent High School for education. They need to have videos of people to see as well. Selection of single men impossible and mostly gross. They force you into a 3 month subscription when 30 days was way long enough to know I am never going to meet the kind of guy I am looking for on this site. My guess is there are no good dating sites out there. My dog is a much better dinner date so I shall go with that for now.
I was flagged for saying "No drug use" because I used the word "drug". Since I was flagged once, I'm no longer allowed to have a completed profile.
I have been emailing back and forth with CS (after 2 weeks of trying to get a live person) and after several emails, I still haven't been told how to correct this issue, only that I was in the wrong. Why would anyone pay over $100 for this aggravation?
Save your time, save your money, if you want to meet someone, join a meetup.com group! They're free, fun & have no cat fishers as you're actually meeting people in person with your same interests.
To cancel Ourtime payment phone fraud department at your bank explain your problems with site, financial not emotional, and ask them to block any further debits from Ourtime. This they will do. I signed for 1 month which is a contract in itself. They took another £9.99 no idea why and without my authority. I could never get online. Funny the cancellation website worked gir another £27. Get real. I deleted details and phoned my bank. They will scream but they can't get my money. If they sue I will fight it and make counter claim for breach of contract in site failure. My interaction should be recorded.
I regularly get notification that someone "likes" me, only to discover they never contacted me! The first few times, I bought into it and replied with a statement or question, but none responded. Why would you "like" someone and not respond when they speak? This is FRAUD!
Every man on the site looks like they have just been released from a maximum security facility. Tons of fake profiles and men sending long messages to scam you at every turn. This site is horrid. So glad I only signed up for a month! I haven't met one decent man here yet. People should NOT be allowed to create a profile until they COMPLETE every section. If you go to the chat, it looks like a hundred men are on there but if you click on someone, it shows they haven't been on the site for awhile. So very strange! Bottom line, save your money. Going to try EHarmony. Expensive but likely more worth the time & effort!
Site is filled with fake profiles and guys pushing to get personal information. Also, filters don't work; keep getting smokers, women and people outside the age range I set.
Go to the Bar. It's more effective.
I joined Ourtime, but when my initial billing period was up, it was impossible for me to turn off the auto renew. I wrote to the company who has no human customer service reps, only bots. I challenged the billing from my bank, the bank dropped the charges 3 times. On the third time I re filled out my profile using rather vulgar and false information. They finally closed my account. So I now have no proof of purchase. This site is run by people with no business ethics, no integrity and quite simply put, crooks who only want your money and make it impossible for you to cancel.
Started a free subscription in May 2015 and then went inactive one week later following website rules. When I reapplied 8 months later for a paid subscription I found 50 + emails to me. At no time was I informed by the website of these contacts and this is very poor customer service and complete rudeness to all the parties involved. No phone number to contact OT. Don't waste your money on such a poorly run website for dating purposes.
Answer: Not sure what you mean by the shaded areas. But never mind, I agree with Alex H, don't get involved with them, they are just after your money. The reply rate is extremely low and the site is full of fake profiles. You will just lose your time with it ( like I did and I regret it). It's important to find a legit site, the site that should suit you best and I found mine: https://j4l.com/402007 It's 100% legit and valid and they don't resort to bots and fakes. I met my girlfriend through them so I know it's a working site!
Answer: They are charging me and I cannot get on this site, I want a refund as I have not been able to use this site,
