No customer Service 1. No helpful articles on their website to solve issues I am having. 2. Receive email from ourtime from someone on site and when I click on link it takes to the Ourtime site in the UK and France! Now my browser loves that site and I struggle to login on the US site. Now my browser says it's not secure!. 3. I have written forms when I am finally able to locate the correct website for US and that has not gotten my any response other than how to cancel my membership. So bottom line is they have your money so goodbye in my opinion. You will always be asked for money to every little thing, that free HOOK is jut to get your initial money then you are nothing but a dollar earned to them. Find a different dating service because this one does not benefit seniors in my opinion.
Fine for newcomers to the online dating scene which im def not but my advice would be dont put all your eggs in one basket. There are a lot of other good sites our there (sites like primetimelove, etc) and its best to try lots and see what works best for you as so much of this dating game is location based and depends on local member numbers, not overall database numbers. Hope that helps.
I've tried 2 different sites, the latest was OurTime. I surely has some issues, but it is not that bad as it seems to be. However I still didn't find the One... So now, I'm giving PrimeTimeLove a try.
Great website! Easy to use, and rates are fair compared to other sites.
Let me be the first to tell you that life is NOT over after 60,70 or 75! No, I'm not 60, but I have plenty of friends who are this age and older. Some of whom believed that they would continue to be single throughout their older years, I believe that there is someone for everyone and that no one needs to be alone, especially when your older and able to really enjoy life. So, I've recently created a few profiles for my friends and within minutes they started communicating with people of similar interests and likes. They are also happily going out on some awesome dates. It's great to see them happy and excited!
I've used a lot of dating sites in my late forties/ early fifties, ourtime ranks high on my list because it's so blooming simple (a bit like me ha ha)! Some sites I love (primetimelove.com a good example) but others I just do not get the appeal (e. G tinder ha ha)! Anyway hope you all find what you're looking for and have a good 2018!
Ive met a lovely lady on OurTime and im very happy. In fact, this afternoon I cancelled my account. I was getting a bit frustrated up until a month or so ago when I met Irene but it only takes one, so my advice is keep trying! A few of my work colleagues are divorced and use primetimelove.com, so that was my next port of call. But now I hope ill be away from the world of web dating for good. Fingers crossed, slow but steady!
I had a great experience with our time dating site. I met nice guys but one in particular who has become the man of my dreams. He actually was someone I went to school with from age 5 yrs to 14. He was shy painfully shy and quiet. My mother often encouraged me to make friends with him... I complained that he was too quiet. She said in her Irish brogue " you know Rosemary that the quiet one's are often the nicest ones and he comes from an awfully nice family... my mother saw he was special and good for me but I didn't listen. We just got engaged in Ireland August 22 2015. Getting married there next year august 27 2016!
Ive always said you should try everything in life and im proud that even in my late fifties I could attempt something as alien as internet dating. And I really enjoy it! And its not just OurTime that Im learning to use but also another site called Primetimelove.com. They are both very different in terms of the way the site looks and works, but they have a lot of similarities too. Ive had dinner and high teas with gentlemen on both sites, so I dont think I could pick a winner. In fact the only winner here is me, as I have a life again!
As a chap in my mid fifties I'm not much of a pub goer as you can imagine. I got into online dating a couple of years back and this compares pretty well against the first site I was a member of (primetimelove.com just in case youre wondering, very good site for starting out, busy and simple). I'm diverging a little now and trying new things, so been adding some new sites to my list and seeing how they all compare. I took early retirement last year so ive got time and a bit of disposable income so it keeps me both entertained and socially active! Kids are long gone and wife passed in '06 so online dating has been a nice crutch to slowly but surely keep me interacting with the world at large. Anyway, it's 7/10 from me.
I joined because of a special they were promoting, needless to say it was just another venue to fleece someone's pocket book, if you send someone a message they cannot respond unless they are a full paying member or you have to pay to enable them to respond to your message, A lot of views received appeared to be fake as they were from areas outside of search parameters, Profiles typically only showed 1 photo which seems odd if your trying to present yourself post more then just a headshot!
Would not recommend to use unless you like throwing money down the drain!
I found my account hacked right away. People were sending messages from my account to someone else without me noticing it
I was a long time member of Ourtime. What a mistake! So many of the profiles were expired or non- existent. Communication was difficult at best when a contact was made. After contact was made, the contact " ghosted" me. I'm convinced I was talking to a computer. Truthfully, Ourtime is a total waste of time and money. Simply stated, Ourtime is a scam.
These filthy bastards stole money off my account, ourtime are goddamn crooks, has no customer service, don't screw with this goddamn app.
I joined this site a few months ago and was initially sceptical. After a few notifications of likes and messages I decided to log in and respond. The first man I chatted to told me he was wearing a nappy, and persistently asked to meet me. The second man I spoke to asked how much I charge for a number of different sexual services. I won't be using this site, and don't trust it at all.
Every other review place had nothing but great things to say about the site and I'm really trying to figure out how that is given my minimal experience. I signed up for three months and within a day wanted to cancel. The app is incredibly challenging to use, The restrictions and "dealbreakers" I selected were not respected and I was even mildly harassed by one user. Very few quality men at least in my area but also since I was getting "seen" or reached out to by people from various states outside of the 75 mile radius I had set. For all these reasons, after spending hours trying to delete things from my account so that I didn't have more people seeing it, and trying to cancel the subscription (very unclear) and no customer service number as others have mentioned, I received an email response from a "rep" who told me that since I had "emailed" people that they couldn't give me a refund. I have no idea what they're taking about. I emailed the company with screenshots of the guy who was harassing me, I guess that's not good enough to take responsibility/accountability for a very unsatisfied customer. They'd rather get a terrible review. I admit I'm new to online dating and maybe being overly cautious but this certainly will affect going forward with any site.
Edit: i've repeatedly requested a refund and they just keep telling me that it's not allowed but that they have canceled my subscription, which I already was able to finally figure out on my own but after reading more of the reviews and concerned if that's actually the case. I think I will do like others have and call my credit card and see if I can get this reversed. This is such a disappointing scam.
This site is full of scammers and when reported nothing is done. They send 6 to 8 notifications a day about your 30 matches to view even when you viewed them. They pay no attention to the age brackets you pick and send whatever including the same sex as you. When asked to cancel subscription and a refund they refused. They use old profiles to send with matches as I had several that said the were getting off 4 years before. The last week of my subscription I started having 58,47, or 28 views per day when normally less than 10. Very disheartened with my first experience of a dating site.
I am a 58 year widow. I was married for 35 years. I decided to check out an online dating site. I figured I would be semi safe with site dedicated to older people. Boy was I wrong. I got several emails and likes. But, the profiles I received were definitely not what I was expecting. The first red flag was that 95% of the response was from men that did not meet my profile at all! The next major issue was men basically looking for sex and describing the sex they. Example a swinger lifestyle. An extreme Christian, Pro - Life supporter looking for a Christian woman into kinky sex. After that profile, I said NOPE! I'll take my chances in the real world. I just wanted a casual friendship. I wanted to throw up.
They provide almost no information about people and I guess you are supposed to select them based on photo alone. Which at this age, is misdirected! Also, there is no way to "take a break" and have your profile hidden for a while. People quit all the time and their profiles are still up there. So you think you have all these people/photos to choose from, and most are inactive. This is on the Match platform and doesn't even have those features. Needs work!
Our Time posts profiles that are gorgeous, handsome, beautiful, and perfect people that sends you "likes" and "messages". Cannot message back unless you subscribe at a cost of $. BEWARE if it's too good to be true.
Answer: Not sure what you mean by the shaded areas. But never mind, I agree with Alex H, don't get involved with them, they are just after your money. The reply rate is extremely low and the site is full of fake profiles. You will just lose your time with it ( like I did and I regret it). It's important to find a legit site, the site that should suit you best and I found mine: https://j4l.com/402007 It's 100% legit and valid and they don't resort to bots and fakes. I met my girlfriend through them so I know it's a working site!
Answer: They are charging me and I cannot get on this site, I want a refund as I have not been able to use this site,
