They will not stand behind their product. I purchased a pair of shoes, and they do not fit and are uncomfortable to wear. I asked for a refund or credit and they refused. I only wore the shoes a few times, but order them well before a trip. In trying to break them in, they were very uncomfortable.

Bought 4 packs of socks in men's large (9.5-11.5), I wear a size 10 shoe. All of them were too small. Requested a return due to this issue and ended up paying $20 in "restocking fees."
Top of the return policy page says "FREE Shipping, Returns & Exchanges for purchases made on orthofeet.com only" and that's also all over the site. Why would anyone feel the need to read all the fine print when "Free shipping, returns, and exchanges" is everywhere.
Go elsewhere with your business.
I Found out why on the website they have a 4.6 rating. I wrote them a review and did not give them a good rating then I received an email from a different company stating they were there to verify the bad rating in other words, when you give them a bad rating, it never gets posted because they deleted it. The company is a scam. The time that I've had these shoes I've wore them maybe two months the material is coming apart. The weird design of the souls has a dimple in the middle of the heal so when you walk on smooth linoleum or wet floors, they pop I like pulling the suction cup off the glass. I thought it was just the design that I bought but I went back to the website and looked at rest of them and they are pretty much all the same design with the dimple on the center of the hill, so Buy at your own risk
They were on sale, so what could I lose? Certainly not the acquisition of a comfortable shoe. They were so snug, that wearing socks was out. As for padding, I felt every pebble that I stepped on. Would never buy a pair from this company again. What's the word? Cheesy? Chintzy? Cheap? Yup...all three.
I ordered size 9.5 running shoes, a half size LARGER than my usual shoe size. They are too short and too tight and rub my heels in multiple places. I'm returning them and have to pay shipping both ways because I live in Hawaii and didn't read the fine print. I should have ordered from Amazon!
I require ortho shoes, but my wife wont let me wear my special shoes and socks with short pants. Regular sandals hurt my feet. It is summer, hot and she wants me to wear sandals, what to do? I just recieved my first pair of OrthoFeet sandals. I used the arch insert that came with the shoes as well can use any insert in these sandals. This is the only Sandal I have ever seen in my 60 yrs. Of shoe problems that is a true Soule Mate.
I have problematic feet. While Orthofeet hasn't solved all of those problems, they have given me the opportunity to try several styles with assurance of a free return if the shoes don't work out for me. I hope they will offer more styles in XXW widths - or wider - in the future, but I am very pleased with the one style I have kept.
These are the most uncomfortable shoes and their wonderful insoles are trash paper thin trash. My husband and I paid hundreds of dollars for 2 pairs of shoes and they both fell completely apart at the soles within 4 months. I posted both of my proofs of purchase from them in the pics below.
I have had slippers that I only wear in the house for a year and the suede on to ripped. They will not replace and told me to go to a shoe repair store if I wanted them repaired. They take no responsibility for their products to last beyond 6 months. I won't be shopping with them again.
Ordered over $300 in shoes and my credit card was charged same day as order; then, order not shipped for over weeks, so I tried to cancel order and get my AMEX refund after they would not take calls or answer emails re the status of the order during those 2 weeks. (Most reputable companies do not charge your credit card until they ship.) Suddenly, Orthofeet decided to ship rather than lose the order, which was infuriating. I returned the shoes because they were of sub-standard quality, not to mention highly unattractive (compared to online photos). They delayed providing a refund, so I contacted AMEX and finally got a refund, less the shipping charges to return the products I tried to cancel. These people are so non-customer oriented they border on shady. You are far better off to buy regular shoes, then see an orthopedic specialist for an orthotics prescription. Then you know exactly what you're getting. (NOTE: Reviews on the Orthofeet website show only positive comments, probably written by their employees.)
I've purchased the inserts and the shoes, ordered them directly from Orthofeet. Every time I ordered them they sent me blems, 2nds or defective shoes. I got 3 good pairs, 2 work shoes and one casual shoe, I like the comfort and styles but getting an undefective shoe has been ridiculous. I ordered 3 pairs last month and all 3 had to be sent back. I've ordered 10 pairs of their insoles and had no problem with them, no defects but they raised the price to 50 dollars, I will not pay that. I am so pissed they sent me 4 pairs of defective shoes I'm done with them it shows me they treat customers like idiots, screw them. Hope you boneheads running Orthofeet get the message.
I cannot really rate the product because my order was insanely wrong, but the service is awful. The chat line doesn't work and they don't respond to emails. I tried to put through a return and was told I would be sent an email with the bar code to drop off the shoes. I was not. I called (not a toll free number) and was advised to look in my junk mail, which I already had. The email is not there. I was told it would be resent immediately. This is hours ago and it's still not there. Makes me sad because I really wanted to try these but I advise anyone else to save their money and avoid the runaround.
Cannot print return labels without purchasing Adobe Acrobat.
Customer service does not answer on Saturdays.
Promised to mail return label, but did not.
Cannot log in new account, cannot delete account. HUGE RED FLAG. Shysters. Quality of product? 0 stars. Quality of customer service? Zero stars. Claim to be Veteran friendly via ID Me. This is called "fraud".
The most aggravating thing about the boots are the ties it takes 10 minutes to tie and they come loose within minutes. I have arthritis in my hands so it wasn't a good choice
Customer Service gives flippant answers to questions about shipping and Specials running. I am so disappointed with the Company. I'll review after wearing shoes for a month.
On 9/18/23 I ordered size 11 shoes but they switched it to size 7. I found out they got my size wrong on the order confirmation. Which they sent at 1:28 pm. I immediately emailed them to fix it. They never replied.
I didn't need the aggravation of having to return the wrong size. Their return policy is tricky.
So at 1:59 pm, same day, half hour after their confirmation email, I emailed them to cancel the order. They ignored that too.
The next day, they charged my credit card $148.
Three days later they wrote back that it was too late to cancel the shipment. An obvious lie.
They messed up the order and didn't bother to correct it. They ignored all my emails. Their customer "service" phone line is useless. Their customer "support service" lies. Their chatbot won't help you if you already paid your money.
Once they get your money they don't want to be bothered with you. If they mess up your order, too bad for you. They lie to you. They make you responsible for sending it back if you ever want to see your money again, and they'll keep your money as long as they can get away with it.
I'm disputing the charges on my credit card.
I have major spine problems, and because of this I have not been able to wear shoes with heels for a long time. I came upon this website in an ad. These shoes are expensive, ranging from $119 to $149 on average, although they do offer discounts and coupons. They say that their shoes are the #1 Brand recommended by Podiatrists. There are orthotic insoles in every shoe, an air cushioning sole, and anatomical arch support. They offer a 60-day "wear test" so that if the shoes don't work for you, you can return them. That's a great deal. I haven't tried to use that yet, though, so I can't comment on how it works. I bought boots with a 2 inch heel. They look fashionable, yet have a great traction sole which I definitely need. This is definitely a legitimate business, very helpful for those of us with foot or back problems.
These walking sandals from Orthofeet a great!
These walking sandals from Orthofeet are a Godsend.
Long story, short- I have been through A LOT trying to find the right shoe that won't damage my feet.
I finally found them. I would give Orthofeet 10 stars, if I could!
Answer: It's not easy at all and when you do get ahold of customer service they are rude and don't want to assist you.
Answer: My husband and I needed good quality shoes for our feet.
Answer: They are scammers. They claim false information that's just not true in regards to their shoes.
The company has garnered mixed reviews, with some customers praising the comfort and effectiveness of specific products, particularly for those with foot issues. However, a significant number of reviews highlight persistent problems with customer service, including difficulties with returns, inadequate support, and misleading policies regarding shipping and refunds. Many customers express frustration over product quality, with numerous complaints about sizing inconsistencies and durability issues. Overall, while there are positive experiences, the prevalent negative feedback suggests a need for improvement in customer support and product reliability to enhance the company's reputation.
