I bought these as work shoes for my shop. I am on my feet for 5 to 6 hours a day and I even have horse stall pads on the floor to help cushion my feet. After about a week they really started killing my feet and now I have developed plantar fasciitis and they refuse to take them back and now will not even answer emails...YOUR SHOES SUCK ORTHOFEET
I ordered shoes 11/17. Delivery stated 2-7 days. Tracking code says label created. I sent an email query 11/28 as tracking has not changed. No response. I called, they were closed (short customer service hours). I used their chat web service on 11/30 and was told sorry for the delay, my order is on its way. Tracking unchanged. I sent email 11/30, asking why tracking has not changed. Email received stating I have to wait 2 more days to see it update in the system. For shoes that cost well over $100, I expect better service and to not be told lies. They could have sent this with expedited shipping to make up for the issue, which I requested and was denied. Honestly, I'm going to have to call my credit card company and tell them this is fraud. I'm very frustrated that a package has never even entered the shipping system. The label was automatically created (as that email confirmation went out 11/18, but nothing since has actually happened. There is clearly no system of check and balances to ensure that orders are actually filled and shipped. Good luck to anyone else who tries.
These are the only shoes that I wear because they are so supportive and comfortable. I think that the soles wear out too fast.
Ordered my husband some of their work boots due to him having bad foot problems. FINALLY! A shoe/boot that helps with his bunion pain!
DO NOT EVER do business with this bunch of schlocks. On July 31,2023 my wife ordered 3 pair of shoes and package of bunion socks from them. Within 2 days of receiving the order and finding 2 of the pair of shoes did not fit properly she returned the shoes, according to Orthofeet policy. We tracked the return and saw, on Wednesday Aug 9th using the return receipt from Happy Returns (FedEx) that she was being refunded for the 2 pair of shoes that had been returned to Orthofeet. After a couple weeks waiting for the refund which did not come, she opened a dispute with Chase Bank (her credit card provider.) On Sept 18th after being advised that the refund was forthcoming she cancelled the dispute and Chase sent the billed amount back to Orthofeet's bank and rebilled my wife's credit card. We called Orthofeet, advised them of the status and requested a refund. We were told they would refund my wife for the 2 pairs of shoes and socks but their bank was not releasing the money. We have called them every day from Sept 18 thru Sep 22 and were told the same thing, their bank was not releasing the money to them so they could not refund my wife's money. We have also confirmed with Chase Bank (my wife's credit card issuer) multiple times that the funds were returned to Orthofeet.
I've ordered 3 pairs of shoes from Orthofeet. One pair for me about a year ago, another pair to my brother as a birthday gift and a 3rd pair for me in a new style. I kept the first pair, the gift pair and the most recent pair I ordered had to be returned due to fit. They make it really easy to return their products-- there is already a pre-paid label in your shipment, so you just tape the box back up (there is a paper they include to put down the reason for the return that you stick back in the box also). You can drop the box off with no hassle at a Staples or FedEx shipping location-- any of the chain stores that have mailing services.
Their shoes are high quality and they really do help if you have a foot issue. When I ordered my first pair, I was hobbling around after a (not cheap!) pair of Sketchers pretty much ruined my feet and I had plantar fasciitis pretty bad in one foot. The shoes made it possible to walk again and eventually with the support my foot healed and is back to as normal as it gets at my age- lol!
So if you are on the fence about ordering shoes by mail, you really have nothing to lose by trying them out. They give you 60 days to try them and they are a well made shoe. There are extra inserts they sent to really adjust the fit to your specifications.
My experience of this company that I had to go through, communication to using a cheap return route to save money and try to keep yours.
I did a purchase with this company on 9/28/21 for a $109.38 for a pair of shoes, which was stated on their website ship in 48 hours. I never had tracking to see the progress, I wish I had cancelled the order in the first place, ignored response and shipped right away. That is UNTRUE order took 4 days to ship. I email them on 10/1/21 and they did not respond till 10/5/21 after I received the shoes. The shoes kept sliding up on ankle provided the 2 inserts I used to try to make them fit right. So, I initiated the return on 10/5/21 and printed the label they provided to return the shoes for a refund, mailed out the shoes on 10/6/21. As of 10/20/21 I am still waiting on my refund! They use a slowest of USPS parcel select ground to save money on shipping cost, resulting to you waiting for them to receive the return and then add another 5-7 days refunding? Why is that, wanna keep my money and decline me my refund if it don't return in timely manner? Contact them and no response. I looked up the tracking, it is in their state since 10/10/21. This is just a BS company, pretty slow, responding, UNTRUE shipping, return, refund process. I did during this time reached out to BBB and Paypal on this issue with Orthofeet. I received my refund, which they try to state they did issue refund. False it was Paypal that did refund me back on 10/21/21. Blamed the issue of slow shipping on USPS, you can't blame them on that if you use the slowest, cheapest method on returns. They state if you use any other shipping method then theirs, not guarantee they will receive their return and you are out of a refund. Pretty catchy huh.
Website, not merited on 5 star reviews, deceiving like other information on there. Shoes looked nice on there, then you get them cheap made they are. Communication lacks or nonexistent happen to me. My opinion they feed off of people with flat feet, wide and other foot problems. I don't recommend them, subpar quality, high priced, returns, communication and all the above my experience to help people out if thinking about purchasing from this company.
Answer: It's not easy at all and when you do get ahold of customer service they are rude and don't want to assist you.
Answer: My husband and I needed good quality shoes for our feet.
Answer: They are scammers. They claim false information that's just not true in regards to their shoes.
The company has garnered mixed reviews, with some customers praising the comfort and effectiveness of specific products, particularly for those with foot issues. However, a significant number of reviews highlight persistent problems with customer service, including difficulties with returns, inadequate support, and misleading policies regarding shipping and refunds. Many customers express frustration over product quality, with numerous complaints about sizing inconsistencies and durability issues. Overall, while there are positive experiences, the prevalent negative feedback suggests a need for improvement in customer support and product reliability to enhance the company's reputation.
