I ordered the Minnesota Vikings Cribbage Board from Oriental Trading Co. On December 6,2024, hoping it would arrive in time for Christmas. It was meant to be a thoughtful gift for my football-loving boyfriend, as his family loves playing Cribbage together during the holidays. Unfortunately, the gift never arrived.
I called their customer service, only to be directed to another customer service line and told to call during regular business hours. When I finally got through, a polite representative explained that my order had been placed with a secondary provider, so they couldn't give me an exact shipping estimate. She asked if I wanted a refund or if I still wanted the product. Even though it was already a week past Christmas, I asked them to expedite the order. She confirmed everything and told me to watch for a follow-up email about my order.
Instead of an update, I received four emails with coupon codes for $10 and $20 off – none of which worked. Hoping to salvage the situation, I tried to use the coupons to place a small order under the coupon amount so that it would cover the cost completely. However, since I wasn't using a form of payment, the website glitched every time I tried to check out. It felt as though the system was intentionally set up to make it impossible to use the coupons without adding a payment method.
Now, 53 days after placing my order and almost a month after Christmas, the delivery date has been pushed back again to February 4–6. Based on my experience, I'm certain that date will come and go without me ever seeing the cribbage board.
The only silver lining is that I used PayPal, so my confidential information wasn't compromised. Overall, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Buyer beware.
Oriental Trading Company screwed us over...again. We placed an order on Monday of this week for several party items for an event this Saturday. We paid extra for shipping based on OTC's delivery estimate to get it here before the end of the week. It's now the end of the week, and guess what? The package isn't here and won't be here until the day of the event. I can't tell you how disgusted and disappointed we are in Oriental Trading Company. This isn't the first time this has happened to us, but it will definitely be the last. Do yourself a favor and choose Amazon, or another reseller if you actually need your items in a timely manner. If I could give Oriental Trading Company negative stars, I would right now based on my anger at this situation.
I ordered something from their website in Dec. 2023 and they have been charging me a monthly fee of $14.95 a month since then. Placing that order automatically signed me up for some kind of notification subscription fee which I was not aware of. I am furious and feel scammed. I notified my credit card company and they are blocking future charges. I tried to contact the company to tell them I want a refund but no luck yet. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office
I live in Alaska and for a while this program was well worth it. However I have been purchasing items for Operation Christmas Child and I made many separate orders to take advantage of the coupons. I knew (?) that Fun rewards would reimburse my shipping costs - they are never shipped free to Alaska. Before I joined this program I carefully made my OTC orders to receive the best shipping cost as it is outrageous when you live in Alaska. This time I wanted to use the coupon as many times as possible. So I spent over $450 in shipping. However they now claim I am a commercial enterprise, even though I explained that I donate each item to charity. I have tried to fight with them. Now I am giving up. Why should I pay for nothing. Don't waste your minoy if you buy in bulk - and why else would you shop at Oriental Trading?
The products we received today for our trunk or treat are just wonderful. The prices are reasonable and the shipping is very fast! We are extremely pleased every aspect of ordering through Oriental Trading Co.
BEWARE! When prompted to enter your email for your order, you are really signing up for rewards and will be charged $15 a month. They claim you are promoted to a page to read, but that's a lie. They say you are sent a email confirming and that is also a lie. I don't support companies who scam hard working people!
I bought a few items for my classroom. I have been charged close to $15 a month for some fun club they have. I NEVER signed up. They did cancel subscription and are going to refund me for 3 months. Very dishonest!
Everytime we order from Oriental Trading, it's always a good experience. It was very easy to submit our school order, and we received our order rather quickly. The prices are unbeatable, and the items are definitely of good quality for the price. We'll definitely be doing business with Oriental Trading in the future!
Hi guys i just want u to warn u i bought holloween candies oct with them thats it. Nov24 they charged me 14.95 i didnt purchase anything from them.i disputed it and changed my card. Cause i felt that its compromised now Dec24 got another charge found out they put my card on recurring charges monthly i have blocked this merchant so just be careful.
The personalized Halloween frisbees are so stanking cute! I'm gonna keep one for myself! I don't mind putting my own stickers on the frisbees. I received them days in advance. It initially said I'd receive them on November 2nd but today is October 27th! Thanks to Oriental Trading my students will receive their mini frisbees just in time for Halloween! Thanks again!
I use to love this company for party supplies. But just like others I used the $15 promo "we miss you" email and enrolled myself into a fun rewards membership without even realizing. No where on my order even states I signed up for this. Even the emails i received for "fun rewards" are worded so well so you don't even notice you've signed up for anything until they are charging you $15/mo. Every store has a rewards program. Sneaky, gross, and completely designed to fool their customers. Change your marketing practices, its absolutely terrible and deceitful.
I purchased novelty boxes that were in the shape of a girl's dress from Oriental trading company. Two of the boxes came in ripped and they were also missing two cords. When I try to leave a review on the website I keep getting an error message. When I left a good review with five stars for another product, it took my review! I contacted the company and explained to them and sent a picture of the damaged boxes but they never responded back. I also purchased a set of the police cars. These are adorable and you can't find them any place but I've read so many reviews saying people were short on sirens and lights. I got one extra siren and light. It's too bad that there isn't more quality control going on but all of these are coming from China. I just found it interesting how this site will not allow you to leave an honest review with the three stars only if you left five stars.
Junk Chinese products.
You most likely will get signed up for a "rewards program " recurring $14.95 per month forever. And you won't even know it unless you check your credit card statements. When you order. Do America and yourself a favor. Buy American products.
Read the description very carefully! I thought I was receiving a MUCH bigger bag of candy for the $20.99 I paid and when I called to ask for a refund, they do not return food. This experience will prevent me from ordering here again.

However... After I finished my order there was a pop up window asking if I would like to receive a credit for the shipping I just paid, just enter your email sign up for our news letter and we will issue you a credit.
At no time did it mention that I was signing up for a Fun Rewards + membership and that I would be charged 14.95 per month until I called their customer service and make a request to cancel the Fun Rewards + program.
One single misleading click. This is deceptive, it is an unethical business practice, I did not request this membership, I did not authorize these charges.
I will never purchase from Oriental Trading again. I advise that you do the same.
Placed order for 144 units as advertised and received an email I was being shipped 48 units.
Contacted by email they stated they would fulfill the order. No communication back or updated tracking. Contacted again they said I would be refunded. Wasted 20 days with this vendor and time who does not fulfill what they have stated.

I recently purchased from OT. I would seriously look else wear or make sure you ask Every question. They send me 12 stone cross necklaces. Almost all were black, some were white. Super short leather necklace... Oh well - you will get what you pay for! Check them out closely!
The product I received was in good condition although a lot of offers of free shipping and coupons were offered. When I checked out of course there were additional conditions so I could not use them but I had already put in so much info I was over it and just paid the bit extra. Then I received an email that said I had signed up for a subscription. I wrote them to ask about it. The email bounced back and I eventually found who to contact. They did cancel the subscription for the end of the following month so I paid two months worth of a subscription I didn't sign up for. This is trickery and fraud as far as I'm concerned and is not the way to run a business but once they have your cc info you can't do much about it.
Dont waste your money. The house designed with the roof so close to the perch, a butterfly couldnt access. Sure, kept out birds and squirrels, but the racoons destroyed the perch in 2 nights.
Wish we had caught no free returns.

I usually like the items I order from here but recently placed an order and somehow got signed up for fun rewards which charged me $14.95 a month for a subscription. I really hate it when companies do sneaky things like that. I am sure it was somewhere in the fine print but it's shady. I am going to look elsewhere for my next purchase. I ordered from there every couple of months but this recent charge definitely lost them a once loyal customer.
Answer: It usually gives an estimate date of arrival. You can also pay (I think) for express shipping to come earlier than the estimate date.
