I ordered 1 1/2 years ago and still do not have product. The nerve of then to continue to sell the item, w/o telling people about being on backorder. The most pathetic company I have EVER dealt with. After 1 1/2 years, I still hear sorry for the delay but the supplier is behind YET I GET THE PRODUCT FROM OTHER COMPANIES WHO GET THEM FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER. WOW, SAVE YOUR TIME AND BREATH, ORDER 5 YEARS IN ADVANCE! MAYBE YOU WILL GET THEM BEFORE YOU NEED THEM.
Ordered from this website for the 1st time last week. Order sat in their system as processing for 1 week. It wasn't until I contacted customer service to ask about my order that they initiated shipping out the order. Customer service was slow and I found this company to be not worthy of my future business. They are very incompetent.
I ordered a $700 weapons light and pressure switch and never got it. Customer service has been giving me the runaround and blowing me off for almost a month now. Avoid this company at all costs! They dont care about anything but taking your money!
Ordered 3 boxes of shotgun shells on a friday afternoon, recieved email order was being processed, come monday company says that there would be a slight delay do to heavy orders coming in.one week later and still not shipped with no explanation.my guess is they were waiting for shells to come in, but advertised in stock. Do not order anything from them. They cannot fill orders. 3 months later and now I get a message that my order is delayed another 8-10 MONTHS!
This company's training MUST include lying. It happens alt all departments and has been a long standing of customer disservice.
To get a straight answer is impossible, their shipping is slowest and the tracking is BS as they LOVE to say that a "shipping label has been created" means it shipped when in reality it, the order, is still in the warehouse and will be for a week or more BEFOE IT ACTUALLY SHIPS.
I really doubt I will EVER order anything from OpticsPlanet again! OpticsPlanet has a total lack of control over its suppliers! I have seen this same ammo come into your competitor's site on 3 different occasions over several months (Midsouth Shooters), yet OpticsPlanet has continually bumped my order back and forth like a tennis ball countless times - will be a year in March. Ever hear of a commitment! And NO - DO NOT CANCEL THIS ORDER. Looking forward to seeing how many more times this small order gets bumped. I have placed order on two available in stock items on 02/13/22. My credit card was charged immediately. After 10 days the status of order was changed to 'Estimated to ship within 5-7 weeks'.
I have canceled the order but it is now in approval status and it could take another 10 days as well as credit to my credit card another 10 days after approval. They charge you right away, but you should wait to get your money back. This is a second time when I placed an order and was waiting for fulfilment. First time I ordered a scope from them and after half of year canceled the order and had a bunch of problems to get my $$$$$ back.
1) I chose 5 items and they sent me 4
2) 1 item (magnifier was all scratched and had missing parts)
3) they did not ship my order(for 4 days) until i called them and forced them to do so
4) their support wanted me to pay more to fix their delivery mess.

Worst online shopping experience of my life, was told the item would be in stock on a certain date, two months later after the 20th time saying it would be shipped, had to cancel and get the same item but different reach, that was in stock shipped two days later go the the border, optics planet notify customs and was retuned back to them, getting refund, not the hole amount which I paid!

Ordered ammo 2 years ago. They cancelled one part and kept delaying the other one. Yesterday instead of a ship date of 2/119/2022 it said 8/20/2022 yep waste of time!. Do not even look at the web site!
I tried to buy a pair of thermal binoculars. I paid for 2-day shipping so I could get the item immediately. They took my payment, and I got an email with the order confirmation. Two days later, when I was supposed to have gotten my shipment, I checked the website, and my order was still being processed. I contacted customer service, and they told me that because I was a new customer, my account had to be cleared for the order. Why? They already charged me for the item; the money was already withdrawn from my credit card. She assured me, though, that they had cleared my account and the binoculars would be sent out on the first business day, which was another 2 day wait. So I waited. 4 days after I spoke to the company, my order still showed "Processing." I needed the binoculars for a search and rescue, and time is important. I had to cancel my order. They wasted a week of my time, and now I have to go somewhere else and wait another couple of days to get the item. Don't waste your time or money with this company unless you have all the time in the world to wait for your item.

Paid for shipping to avoid USPS. Still shipped usps. Customer service is non existent. Tried to cancel my order and can't even speak to someone. Absolutely ridiculous. This will be my last order.
I ordered barrel and reflex sight for my new Sig P365XL. I gave my PO Box as the shipping address but was informed they could not ship to a PO Box. I then gave them my physical (home) address and explained that this address does not receive USPS deliveries. I received an email acknowledging the new address and was told my order would not be shipped via USPS. Today I received a shipping notification saying my order was shipped out via USPS. I called customer service and after being put on hold for 15 minutes I was able to ask a xustomer service rep how they would resolve this. She basically said there was nothing they could do except wait for the package to return to them. Once it was returned they could either reship it or give me a refund which would probably take weeks. At this point I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would get back to me within 48 hours. So nothing is resolved. They are currently into me for over $500. I've been their loyal customer for many years, but no more.
I work for a Government agency and tried to order in stock goods from OpticsPlanet Gov procurement entity USIQ. No one answers phones, no one responds to emails. I sat on hold for over 45 minutes with OpticsPlanet trying to resolve with no luck. I sent multiple emails over a 2 week period with zero response.
Won't reply to emails and then tell you that you cannot return an item because it's past the date. The gap in time was due to dealing with extreme illness. Item was not used and still in packaging.
Never using them again, Brownells for the win.
I could literally make the ammo from raw materials in a more timely fashion than optics planet can take an order and ship. I don't think optics planet is located in our solar system
I ordered a harness over a month and a half ago, and this company has bumped my order several times. Their customer service is terrible and when you inquire about the status of your order you get a bounce back email telling you how slammed they are and can't even update you. You have to use their order status portal to get any info. They will not respond to voicemails and I just found out my order got bumped once again so it want even ship till over two months from order date. I don't even have a tracking number yet as I'm writing this review. This company is poorly managed at best and should be avoided.
Answer: They ripped us off too. I'm going to file a BBB complaint and will mention I'm not the only one the took $$ from and never delivered my order and accused us of lying about it.
