Do not trust this company for special offers. They use bait and switch, change their website to conceal 48 hour dispatch guarantee after order then email you 4 days later to say the frames arrived damaged (hello, I ordered 3 pairs and got the same email for all orders) and you will have to choose something else. Despite claiming to be an NZ business I got a call from the UK after making noise. Money was taken from my account straightaway but they say it takes up to 5 days for a refund. Totally untrustworthy

Simple order process, just requiring a recent prescription from my regular optometrist and choosing a suitable style.

Service was excellent, with prompt communication and VERY fast delivery. My new glasses were well packed for posting in a smart protective hard case and several layers of bubble wrap.

Loved the easy to use website, although I found the mind-boggling range of top brand frame styles, colours and lens options a bit daunting at first!

There are separate mens, womens, designer glasses and prescription sunglasses plus a titanium range. They also offer a free home trial of four different frame styles, and a simple to use, cost-effective re-glazing service for your favourite eyeglasses or sunglasses.

Especially liked the Try On feature, which allows you to upload a close up photo to their website and click on any frame to see how you would look in that style and colour.

Ordered over the Christmas period. Emailed with no response, rang a few times, eventually got to speak to someone who assured me that they were on there way. Two weeks later still no sign, emailed again - no response. Rang and eventually spoke to same guy (Frances) and assured me on their way. Two weeks later still no glasses. Having read all the reviews about being rougue company I rang again spoke to same guy and he said they were on their way. Eventually had an email to say on their way. I managed to track them and they arrived a few days later. Had to take them to 3 opticians to sort them out. They all said frames were good quality and lenses were excellent, but they couldnt make the progressive lenses fit (this may have been down to my measuring). Would buy again but not progressive.

I am very impressed with optically, they are very helpful, friendly, great communication. I had my glasses regaled in my existing frames, The index lenses I had ordered previous to my script were not on shelf due to my eyes being so terribly bad, they however explained this to me and sourced the lenses I needed, and the team at optically did not hesitate to respond to my emails as I asked so many questions they verified step by step till my glasses arrived. Once arrived I was very pleasantly surprised at the work they did as they were very professional clean and bang on I could see 100% they did a very great job and I'm very happy with their service I highly recommend optically

It's great that now when you go in for an eye check up, if you need glasses they give you the script. This means you aren't limited to just their store.

Optically.co.nz is great. They have designer eye wear(like my Marc Jaccobs) and with the ability to upload a photo you can get a rough idea of what style and size looks good on your face.

They have good search criteria so you can only look at the designs that will suit and prompt delivery.

Would definitely recommend and use again.

This is my second order and I am presently surprised, my first order took 3 weeks which I did not like, But the quality of the glasses were fantastic.

So, I choose to order again, I noticed that they have now started 24 hour dispatch of orders. I wanted to try, I am glad I did, the glasses we shipped out same day and they reached by post in 3 days. Now that is how one should buy glasses form now on.

The price and quality was never a problem for me, but the express delivery is customer care at a totally different level.

I've had 4 orders so far to reglaze my glasses and all have come back perfect and accurate of my prescription. I trust these guys with my expensive frames

They do come late, but this doesnt matter as my frames come back in the same state as I sent them

Initially a little apprehensive about buying prescription glasses online, after being quoted locally an exorbitant price, I had no choice. How pleased I am I did.
Obtaining my prescription, I forwarded same and promptly received the glasses ordered. I had though made a terrible mistake of ordering a pair far too large for the progressive lenses to work satisfactorily.
I contacted Optically Support and the matter was resolved swiftly, once the correct frames were decided, I had replacement in just over a week. Offering to return the first frames I was told not to bother.
Overall, the communication and service was beyond what I expected to receive online, in fact it surpassed many customer service outlets I have come across. Fantastic price and super fast delivery, just 6 days. I'm very happy with them and they look just like they did when I uploaded a photo and "tried them on".
