My package was supposed to arrive by end of day yesterday. At 4:20pm the OnTrac tracking page updated stating 'deliver next business day'. That's not what I agreed to. My package was supposed to be delivered! Later, the message changed to "Shipment Delayed; Delivery Date Updated" yet the date remains yesterday. Today, I checked again and the messages were the same. I waited until about 3:00pm and called. After being on hold for almost an hour, I spoke to someone who told me my package never left their distribution facility yesterday, and after she checked, it never left today either. What kind of service is this? This is totally unacceptable. At this point, I'm waiting on a phone call or email to let me know when it will be delivered. I'm not holding my breath. I'm contacting the company I ordered from and letting them know about the shipping company they are trusting with their deliveries. And that if they continue to use OnTrac as a shipping provider, I will no longer do business with them. I suggest anyone else who's had similar issues do the same.

Vendors please stay away if you want to stay inbusiness! Zero stars or even negative! I dread every time I see the package is being delivered by OnTrac. They claim to have delivered the package but it is never the case. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with me. It is nowhere around and no one else has picked it up for me. The delivery address is correct and there as absolutely no issues with that. The delivery drivers straight out lie showing that the package is delivered when it is clearly not. Every time I get the same response asking me to verify the address or contact the vendor. And then they just throw their hands in the air saying their records show that it is accurately delivered. OnTrac does not want to take any responsibility for their own deficiencies. My experience is nothing short of horrendous. The service cares the least about the inconvenience and the frustration the customer has to go through because of them. Either improve your services or shut down the whole fraudulent service. Pathetic and unreliable. I don't know why the vendors still use this service.

Package was supposed to be delivered on a beautiful Monday. No package arrived. OnTrac website said it was delayed "due to weather". Complete malarkey - roads had some residual snow, but driving was fine (storm was several days before...).
Website also said package would be delivered the next business day. Nope - no package!
I called Ontrac. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I finally got a human. He said they had NOT scanned my package that day. So no package that day, either. I am still waiting, but I will be calling the seller to tell them that they should really use a different delivery service.
Update: I finally got my package. And OnTrac sent me an e-mail with the the following "helpful" info: "Thank you for your email. Our records indicate that your package was delivered on 99/99/99 at 99:99am/pm."
WOW...
And another update: the original product was a bit too big, so I decided to return it and get a size smaller. Once again, they used OnTrac. Package was supposed to arrive today. OnTrac website shows that it arrived in Salt Lake City three days ago. This afternoon, they informed me that it would arrive "Next Business Day". U-m-m-m - it takes FOUR DAYS for OnTrac to get something from SLC to Denver? These guys should be out of business NOW! Once again, I will contact my vendor and tell them that they really need to use another delivery service!

Do not trust this company to deliver on time or to the correct address. Heaven forbid you have to call them, their wait time was 65 minutes last time I called. I still have not received my item.

Ordered from WalMart on March 8th, with delivery scheduled for March 9th.
Package picked up in California on March 9th, didn't show any movement until March 10, when it arrived in Tucson early morning. Sat at the distribution center until 4PM when it finally made the delivery vehicle.
Keep in mind, the shipping address CLEARLY shows a business address so little chance of making it before 5 when we close.
Today: March 11: it STILL does not show being on the truck for delivery. Called WalMart to let them know what kind of company they are dealing with, they did file a complaint with OnTrac. Called OnTrac customer service and got a complete run-around as to the location of the package, when it MIGHT actually be delivered, or any other explanation as to the delay.

Sure do hope that WalMart listens and stops using OnTrac, we've never in ten years had a problem like this with either FedEx or UPS, even the USPS provides better service that OnTrac!

TERRIBLE SERVICE

On track is the worst delivery service I have ever encountered they are never on time they are days late they deliver to the wrong addresses or apartments and they make no excuse for it

Two faced
July 15, 2020

They say one thing and do another, lost my package, and then a week later said it was delivered, no one where I work saw anyone from ontrac the day they said they delivered it, I called and they said they would charge it to lost so I could call the vendor for a refund, but no, they left it as delivered and the vendor said no refund till they get the package back, ok, I don't have the package, I have things delivered to my work place to avoid these kind of things, but with ontrac I guess you take your chances, never again, I will not buy anything without the option shipping methods.

Horrible company

They never respond to sellers requests and they take over 2 weeks to fail to deliver your package and send it back. They're absolutely a horrible company and should be ended.

Ontrac cancelled
December 6, 2021

If you use Ontrac for your overnight delivery service, be aware that Becky will threaten to close your account if you do not pay your bill. I sent a response on 11/29/2021 advising that the bill was forwarded to finance for payment.
Ontrac rep. Beck threatened two weeks later with this email despite the fact that I sent a response on 11/29/2021 advising that the bill was forwarded to finance for payment.

Response email from Becky at Ontrac: 12/06/2021

"Due to the delinquency in payment, this account will be closed by end of week if payment is not received.
Please be advised that this account could be closed until the account is up to date/current.
Thank you,
AR Clerk
Becky J Ehlre"

I requested the account be closed. We do not need to be doing business with companies like this. We will use a service that desires customers and provides the services that they advertise. Wondering if this isn't an unhappy employee that is choosing to damage their companies reputation by losing customers with this type of treatment. If so, it is working so Ontrac be advised.

WORST DELIVERY SERVICE- stay away
The worst there are 6 signs in my lobby that say do not leave packages here they are in gigantic letters
All the other delivery services know not to leave it there they can read

Our packages continually got stolen in the unattended lobby it's 325 units & visitors & solicitors

My package was stolen I called OnTrac I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me they spoke to the driver and the driver said he left it in the right place in the lobby I told him that they should have the supervisor go to my lobby and look for himself and then he would know that he should've left it at my door not in the lobby they said the case is closed and if I want my money back I need to go to the company that shipped the item they really had no care whatsoever now I'm wondering was it actually even delivered?

They say they deliver packages and my camera says nobody came to the house. They lied and gave coordinates to my house. Was unable to get $150 refund. Never buy from a company that use OnTrac.

I received an email on 07/03/2023 at 1:45pm stating that my package was dropped off on 07/01/2023 at 9:47pm at the front door of a business. Guess What package is no where to be found and I had my office pull the camera and they NEVER came to the office. Either you need to follow AMAZON and take PICTURES of drop off packages or get a better GPS system this is crazy second time this happened with this company

Poor shipping

According to ontract my package was SUPPOSED TO be delivered on 3/4! IT WAS NOT! THERE HAS BEEN NO UPDATE ON WHEN MY PACKAGE WILL BE DELIVERED! ACCORDING TO THEIR TRACKING SYSTEM ALL IT SAYS IS OUT FOR DELIVERY! DID NOT RECEIVE PACKAGE ON 3/6 AND IT STILL SAYS OUT FOR DELIVERY ON 3/4! AND STILL SAYS THAT TODAY 3/7! THERE IS NO WAY TO EVEN CONTACT THEM TO ACTUALLY FIND OUT WHEN IT WILL BE DELIVERED! I BOUGHT THE ITEM ON WALMART WEBSITE BUT THE SELLER IS THE ONE WHO USED ONTRAC FOR THE SHIPPER! I WILL LET WALMART KNOW EXACTLY THAT ONTRAC IS A PISS POOR SHIPPER TO USE! THEIR RATINGS FOR A SHIPPER IS THE POOREST SHIPPER I HAVE EVER SEEN! ACCORDING TO THEIR TRACKING SYSTEM MY PACKAGE IS SITTING IN EVERETT, WASHINGTON WHICH IS THE CITY THAT I LIVE IN, THEIR WAREHOUSE IS LESS THAN 7 MILES AWAY FROM MY HOME! WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL $#*! AND NOT RELIABLE!

Terrible drivers and customer service. My package was marked as delivered yet I never received it. Ever since OnTrac received the package, they did not update it until today stating that it was delivered days ago. For 4 days it was listed as being on the same local truck (presumably lost). I contacted customer service and did not hear back. I sent them a text because that is the only other option to reach them. The wait times to hear back are hours and if you don't respond back within 1 minute it closes the chat and you have to wait all over again. I finally got ahold of them for the 2nd time and they said there was an issue with reaching my address (there are no barriers to entering my street and reminder that this was marked as delivered). I'm assuming the delivery driver just took the items for themselves. I don't think I can buy from any company that uses OnTrac for shipping due to how useless their customer service is and how bad their drivers are. There is no proof of delivery so you are stuck with having to reach out to the seller and hoping they will give you a refund.

Apparently, Honey Baked Ham Company of California utilizes OnTrac to deliver their packages. According to OnTrac's tracking system, my package was supposedly out for delivery on November 21st and was supposed to be delivered by the end of the day on November 21st. As of 8:00 PM on November 23rd, my package has NOT been delivered. OnTrac ABSOLUTELY FAILED to deliver my package from the HoneyBaked Ham Company of California! OnTrac delivery/tracking estimates are wildly inaccurate and incorrect. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! OnTrac must go out of business

Simply Horrible

Like many others I am an Amazon Prime member sick of playing the shipping lottery.
It goes like this, Amazon ships a package with 2-day delivery.
If they use USPS I get the package in 1-2 days
If they use UPS I get the package in 2-3 days
If they use ONTRAC I get the package in 1-3 weeks if I'm lucky.
Never ever ever use this awful shipping service, I really wish Amazon would stop.
