Prepare yourself for lots of apologies but no product. You will not find out that you have a back order with your entire order or even part of your order. They will ship part of your order and send you an email telling you it shipped but they won't tell you that only part of it shipped. You'll get the back order email when the first part of your order is delivered. Then, prepare yourself for a lot of excuses. 4 weeks in and they're still blaming their vendor. I'm done. Canceled the order and will never deal with them again.

I ordered 4 fabrics for costumes for an event that is coming up in a few weeks. Half of the order shipped fairly promptly but the other half did not and after waiting a week I emailed a query about it. No response, finally called and found out those fabrics are backordered for another two months. No notice from them at all. Will not order from them again.

I don't even want to give them a star, they deserve half a star at most. I have placed an order with them and paid extra shipping to get everything on time. They didn't ship it, because a smallest test fabric I had ordered wasn't in stock, and everything else in big volume was. Instead of checking in with me, they decide not to ship anything and wait for 1.5 months! I called them in 5 days because there was no delivery and no tracking. They said they are waiting for the other fabric. I demanded to have them ship all that's in stock ASAP and cancel what's not in stock. 5 days later nothing shipped! I called them and they said they don't ship everything right away and it takes time. 5 DAYS time? I have missed 2 weeks of work due to their incompetence. I called another store and placed an order with them and they have saved the day and overnighted my order so I meet my deadline.

After a week had gone by and my order still hadn't been shipped I called and they acted annoyed and told me they were just about to email me (what a coincidence) to tell me it wasn't in stock and was backordered. Well this was something I really needed for a work project so I decided to change my order and get something that was in stock. It's been another week and no shipping notification and no charge to my account. I haven't even received a call to tell me what is going on. This is the second issue I've had with them and a co-worker of mine got the wrong item from them and still can't get them to do something about it. Just awful all around.

Bad customer service

This is not a reputable company. They do not tell you that most of their fabric is not in stock and is on back order. I have been waiting for 2 months to receive fabric that was supposed to be in stock. I asked to cancel the order, because I can't wait anymore. They said they would. But instead they charged my credit card the following week and still have not shipped the fabric. Their website says they will not charge until the fabric ships. This is a lie. In addition, if the service was good, they would have cancelled the order, realizing that it was a reasonable request since the order had been on backorder for over 2 months. They are not interested in customer service. They are not even that much cheaper. I would rather deal with a professional company even if it is a little more expensive. This company has questionable business practices- do not order from them.

Still have not received my order. The lady lied about ship date and when i called very rude customer service rep and acted like no big deal. Will not order from them again. I rather pay a little more and get what i asks for. Ordered same material from another party two days ago and will be here today.

Buyers beware. I ordered some fabric from Online Fabric Store because the website showed it was in stock. I could have purchased the same material from other stores but chose them.

I was making a blanket for one of my kids for Xmas. I ordered the material on 11/29/17 assuming I would get it within 7 to 10 days. Over the next couple of weeks I inquired several times about my order. Their Customer Svc told me several times it was on back order and would go out soon. I finally received the material on 12/22/17 around 8pm. When I opened the package it was the wrong item. I ordered fleece but they sent me cotton material. I sent an email to their customer service. There response was I could send it back but I would have to pay for shipping. Shipping charges would cost more than the material itself.

I'll never use them again.

Horrible Service
December 26, 2017

I placed an order on October 19,2017 in time for Halloween and I received my order on December 20,2017 in time for Christmas. Horrible service. I left several messages only to be told today I can send it back at my expense. Never! Why should I pay again when it took 2 months. I will never order or recommend!

Poor Customer Service. Bought 7 yards of fabric and two of those yards were misprinted. I sent pictures and wanted a replacement. I was willing to send the damaged fabric back. The customer service rep. Blew me off, basically. She told me that she would have to contact the manufacturer to see what they could do for me. I ended up purchasing 4 more yards in order to finish my curtains. They closed my complaint case, calling it "resolved:, and I haven't heard from them since. I won't do business with them again because I do not trust them any longer. My understanding from this transaction is that if they send damaged fabric, the customer is stuck with it. This was an expensive lesson to learn.

Subpar Experience
December 4, 2017

I checked out their FAQ and shipping info three times over before placing an order, because I needed the fabric by a certain date for a big event coming up. It says that fabric is usually cut and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, and then takes 5-7 business days to arrive in the US with standard shipping, and that they will send a tracking number once shipped. Perfect. One week goes by and nothing, so I email them on a Friday morning. Monday comes around and I don't hear back, which is fine. I try their "live chat" and don't get a response after a couple of hours. I then Google the company and see tons of bad reviews. I give them a call, and after spending 18 minutes on hold the representative tells me my fabric will "probably ship by the end of the week" (two weeks from the purchase date). So I had to cancel the order, and I'm supposed to get a confirmation email. If I had gotten an email notifying me that the fabric was out of stock a week ago, or it didn't take so much effort to contact them about the order I would have not hesitated to give them more stars.

If there was an opposite of Amazon.com as far as ensuring customer satisfaction, OnlineFabricStore is the winner! What a disorganized and poorly run company. After 13 days of waiting for two yards of faux fur (for a tree skirt) to arrive I received an email that it was backordered and will arrive on Dec 29th. That doesn't work for me for obvious reasons. I emailed back letting them know this but no response for hours so tried to call, no answer, tried to chat and the bot generated a generic response that they'd get back to me via email if I left my email address. 24 hours later and no response so I called, on hold 15 min and finally got through to a human being who said they've been busy with cyber Monday (ok but it's Friday). She confirmed that the fabric won't arrive before the 29th - I asked if they could at least tell me the brand of fabric so I could try to find it online elsewhere but that was a no-go, I asked if they could at least offer SOME kind of discount on the order as an incentive to just keep the order vs. cancelling despite the fabric arriving too late for the holiday... waited another 5 min but of course, the answer was "no" there's "nothing they could do"... Not helpful at all and not that apologetic for the lousy experience/inconvenience. Then they wonder why Amazon is taking over the retail world. I'll gladly give my business to Amazon any day of the week than dysfunctionally run companies like this one.

Like everyone, I should have read reviews first. I made a mistake on quantity, notified them within minutes but they said it was too late. Such a TERRIBLE Company, don't waste your time with them. I still haven't seen the small order of fabric, it made it half way across the country... then nothing. I don't like anyone that uses UPS, they give snail mail a whole new meaning

Made a change to my order and it was a mess! They got it entirely wrong and would give me no customer service satisfaction. I took responsibility for my end but bottom line, was told i got what I ordered and Megan Justice final answer to my query to speak to her superior was "I am the customer service supervisor. Have a good day!" so, the order is going back and will never use them again! AND I will be writing directly to the company because her attitude has got me boiling!

Lousy Customer Service
October 10, 2017

I place my order for overnight delivery then the next day I find out it won't be here for 3 more days. I ask for the delivery to be made again... my answer as long as I pay for it again they won't charge me for delivery. This is unsatisfactory because I paid for overnight. They tell me they have no control over the delivery service. Now I can understand that yet they also don't care if I get it. I am a sales person and would go hill over high water as they say to make my customer happy. The first person hangs up on me and I didn't even yell. I call the second time and she was willing to issue me a credit for the overnight delivery charges but still not willing to call back the delivery and redeliver it next day. I am told that I can refuse the shipment - which I did. Now it's been 5 business days and still no credit to my bank acct. I call to find out when and they say 5-7 business days. I told her I would call back in 2 days. Later I get an email saying that they won't issue a credit till Sunday (5 more days away) - that just throws the 5 to 7 business days out the window. So they are saying to me in No Uncertain Terms - I'll get it to you when I want to and we lied to you about our policy - because we really don't have any policy - it's when we feel like it. I will NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. Their customer service does NOT EXIST. I tried to give them NO STARS but it won't let me submit it with NO STARS. You should only get a star if you had done something good.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

The customer service is terrible. I paid for expedited 3-5 day shipping and didn't receive my order in time. When I asked for a shipping refund they refused to refund my shipping charges. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here!

I ordered table runners for my wedding. They never arrived because apparently they were back ordered. I never got an email or notification of any kind. This website is NOT linked to their inventory so there is no guarantee you will get your items when they say you will! Customer service was atrocious and owners not remotely apologetic.

Good if nothing goes wrong

I feel bad because after the first transaction I had with them I left a positive review (5 stars.) I've had another order and it's gone horribly wrong. Over half the fabric didn't arrive but the postage charge remained the same. They eventually remedied that but my main concern was that the fabric that did arrive was in pieces; so it appears that if you order a certain length of fabric there's no guarantee they'll send that in one piece! I've never seen anything like it and I now have to say stay away. It was a very bad experience.
