This company did not send an email confirming order, so I ordered again thinking it did not go through. I finally received ONE email stating my order was out of stock but would be shipped when it was received. They shipped the same order out twice and made me pay shipping for the returned package. Customer Service is terrible.
Placed an order with the company and they put a hold on my account for the money until shipped which is ok. I already allotted for the money. What I didn't allot for was that once they shipped the order they charged me again. The order was shipped in two pieces so they charged 1/2 of the order. I called and they told me it was a bank issue. I called my bank and got to release the hold but my bank said they are suppose to submit a release for the first transaction before they charge me when shipped. So I had my bank to release the first hold since the company said they only charge when shipped. Then I received an email saying the other half of my order was out of stock and would be shipped in 15 days. And they then in turn charged me again for the other 1/2 when they stated I would be charged until shipped and obviously it would be shipped for 15 days. I feel I may have to put in a review of my account with the bank to get my money back because they use deceitful practices when it comes to ordering. After reviewing the 1/2 of my order that I received, it is not the best quality either. I recommend not to use them. The few pennies you save are not worth it for your customers quality of their clothes.
I wasn't all that impressed with their fabric quality and selection. The prices are tempting, but in my opinion, what you get is not worth spending money on. What prompted me to write a review was their terrible customer service. The agent was not polite and had more of an accusatory and annoyed "tone". In my opinion, my issue was easy to fix, but because they seemed like the had more important things to do, it became prolonged. I will not be shopping there again.
After qualifying their material and receiving a written price quote, they decided to increase the price by 100% after they received my order. Very unprofessional. I wish I had seen these reviews before wasting my time. Buyers beware.
Well, it looks like I too am a victim of the Online Fabric Store. It's been over two weeks and I have yet to see anything or receive a shipped email. Didn't think to look at reviews until it took so long to hear anything from them and now that I have, everything makes perfect sense. Never again. Please pay attention to the reviews about this place and do not order from them!
I ordered these burlap sacks to cover my plants in the winter, they were exactly what I wanted and came at a reasonable time with a UPS tracking number. I was a little worried about buying because of all the bad reviews, but everything was just fine.
The prices are tempting but don't waste your time! I'm too frustrated to go into all the detail. But i placed an order that was never shipped because it was out of stock. At no time was I notified that it was out of stock. When I called to check on my order, they claimed an email was sent but I never received anything in my junk or spam folder. During that phone call I was told one of my items was in stock so i requested they atleast send what they did have. Again time went by with no communication from them. I call to check on it, turns out that was out of stock as well! I finally just cancelled. This was all for a special event that now won't look very special at all. I will never use this business again.
OFS's customer service is so astonishingly terrible that at first I thought these people had to be joking! I ordered three items from them on 4/10 and finally called on 4/20 to see why they had not arrived, only to learn that they had never been shipped; nothing out of stock, nothing backordered, just NOT SHIPPED. When the items finally arrived, one was missing and one was the wrong item. I called to return the incorrect item and was told that they do not refund shipping even when it is their fault. During this whole ordeal, every single person I talked to had an incredibly non-caring attitude, which in a business this competitive is, as I said earlier, astonishing.
The orders sit in there warehouse for over a week before it ships. And if you complain to the supervisor they handle it like these are high school girls.
Would give less than 1 star if possible. Ordered and paid for a swatch and the yardage then did not match. I tried for hours via chat, email and phone to reach them. They are impossible to deal with. So many other fabric on line stores make it easy to buy from.
THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. I ORDERED 100 YARDS OF 20 GAUGE POLYVINYL IN SEPT 2016. I HAVE BOUGHT IT FROM THEM BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEM. BUT BECAUSE I DIDN'T CHECK EVERY ROLL IMMEDIATELY (TRUSTING THEY WOULD BE OK). I RECENTLY DISCOVERED TWO AND A HALF OF THE ROLLS HAD SO MANY FLAWS IN THE PLASTIC I COULD NOT USE IT. I SENT IT BACK TO THE TUNE OF OVER $190 FOR SHIPPING AND GUESS WHAT "THEIR 30 DAY RETURN POLICY WAS EXPIRED ON THIS ORDER"... SORRY THAT JUST DOESN'T CUT IT. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU SHOULD TUCK YOUR TAILS IN SHAME AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS WITH ALL THE BAD REVIEWS HERE!
Placed an order for 300 yards of fabric. Three weeks later discovered I needed more so returned to make another purchase. Discovered the price was significantly lower than three weeks ago when I bought so asked "customer service" for an accommodation - either a price adjustment for the $60 difference, or to sell the additional fabric at the lower price (the more you buy, the lower the price). Nope. Was told "we don't offer adjustments for previous orders." They must not be in need of customers - they certainly don't care about customer satisfaction or retention. Placed my order with a competitor and will NEVER shop with Online Fabric Store again.

I had placed an order at the beginning of January and after a month of waiting finally called them to see what was going on. One of the items was on backorder so they didn't ship anything. I get that. They shipped what they did have and I cancelled the rest of it because it was going to take too long. 3 days later I get a confirmation that the material I had cancelled was being shipped. Again called them and they told me that they had no record of me canceling the order even though I spoke with someone on two separate occasions. Bottom line? Frustrating and unreliable. Don't think I'll be ordering from them again.
When my small order arrived, it was split up into two separate pieces (totally 5 yards, not a full five yards) which meant that I could not complete my project. When I called to have the correct order sent, I was redirected on the phone several times, had to send twice pictures proving the mistake, then had several emails from two different people- one stating that a new order had been issued, the other that they wouldn't reissue until they received the return. I finally called AGAIN and was informed that they could recharge my card for a new order or I would have to wait for them to process the return. I finally said I would take my business elsewhere. I expect to have to call again when they charge me for shipping which they claimed they wouldn't do...

I really wish I would have seen 48 one star reviews before I ordered. Item was out of stock and they didn't say a thing till it was to late to arrive for Christmas. They have responded to emails but couldn't care less they messed up.
