The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I couldn't be happier with my experience on this site! The prices were reasonable and the concert ticket was emailed to me promptly. Way to go, Online City Tickets!
The overall experience was great and easy not hard at all to use this website. I would give this website a 5 star and overall it was great and awesome.
Title says it all. The process was easy, but it's not until after you've entered all of the required information that you are informed of a 25% Handling and Processing fee.
I INSTANTLY RECEIVED MY TICKETS IN MY INBOX. VERY EXPEDIENT SERVICE. I WILL USE AGAIN AND REFER TO MY COWORKERS AND FRIENDS.
Beautiful Venue. Wish I would not have waited so long to visit. Though I live one hour away, I hesitated to visit more often. Show ended at 10, I got home at 1:30 am, but, I'd do it again in a heart beat. It was a breath taking, and down right Spiritual experience.
The process was easy and i received my tickets right away. Very pleased with the website and how simply it was to look at the tickets and where the sections where.
Ok I got them I really really really have nothing to say... ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok
The process was easy but I could only choose the Row from the seat map, I had no idea what seats exactly I was getting until after I paid and received them in an email. Other than that, good experience.
A very user friendly site, no count down timer so you can take your time and find your perfect seats!
Navigating through the site was super easy. Finding the tickets I wanted was also easy. I was a little sticker chocked to find out the service charge though.
Booked online printed tickets was done in less than 5 min think that is great service and because I printed my tickets myself I dont have to wait for them in the mail
Like that it was fast and easy
THIS SERVICE WAS SO PROFESSIONAL, EASY TO USE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WERE VERY PLEASANT TO TALK TO.
THEY CARE ABOUT YOU!
I am excited to see these artists! This site was easy to navigate, thanks. The site explained and showed seats to purchase
For on-line ticket sites there is none better than OnlineCity Tickets. They make the ticket buying process easy and affordable. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking to buy tickets.
Email was sent fast and made it easier to purchase. Not having to wait a day is very nice to the purchaser
Not happy after comparing the tickets with Ticketmaster. Anyone looking for tickets buy at Ticketmaster.com much cheaper. Very disappointed in this site. Wish I would of shopped around
The purchasing process was very easy, and I found the same tickets as StubHub, but at a much cheaper price.
The site is very easy to use but I was shocked to find out how much the service charges were. Also, I ordered electronic tickets and was shocked to see I got charged for those as well. Since when does it cost money to get electronic tickets?
Fees are outrageous! Seriously? $45 extra for pushing a button. Ridiculous and now I am forced to leave 100 characters about your fees lol
The overall process was smooth and the site was easy to navigate. However, when you go to check out you will get a huuuge surprise. Service fees from this company are beyond excessive, upwards of 30% per ticket, possibly as high as 50% depending on how you calculate it. This is on top of the original service fees that the person selling the tickets paid plus (generally) that person's markup on the tickets. If you already expect concert tickets to be an absolute ripoff then you will probably be ok with this. If not, expect a surprise when you check out.
I'm hoping that Amazon gets into the concert/events ticket cartel and introduces some sanity. It's unfortunate how many inefficient middle men have been introduced into the process, jacking up concert ticket prices to obscene levels. OnlineCityTickets is just another middle man taking their cut in this silly game.
But, as I said before, everything but the sky high ending prices was easy.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
