The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Tickets were $103. It said there would be a processing fee, but I could not find what the processing fee was. Perhaps it was in fine print, in any case, it wasn't very transparent. Turns out the processing fee was $140! Give me a break. OnlineCity Tickets doesn't seem very upfront on their cost.
Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS charges, Ticketmaster prices were between $46 and $64 and they are making $$. My final charge was over $450.00. I will be writing to my Congressman about obscene profit margins and capricious service charges. Absolutely unethical and should be illegal!
My first time doing mobile tickets so am a little nervous. The tickets are gift for someone so I hope they work when she gets to the concert.
The woman I dealt with was very nice, very fast, and very thorough.
She explained to me how the "Mobile Tickets" worked, and then offered to find me VIP parking!
Great experience
Well the saga continues. After multiple contacts with Online city tickets nothing has changed. We have now received the tickets to the concert. First off the tickets are mobile only. When they produce them they produce them through ticket master. FYI if you are going to sell tickets that you have already paid a premium for. You will be eliminating being able to sell through Ticketmaster.
I say this because, online city tickets uses ticketmaster to produce the tickets to you. Therefor because you did not buy the actual tickets through ticketmaster. You cannot sell them through ticketmaster. Forcing me to go to Stubhub as basically my only option. Just do yourself a. Favor and dont even bother with this company.
A friend of mine bought three tickets off this site for the Ed Sheeran show. Now she cant go as she is moving to Florida ao she wants to sell the tickets to someone who will appreciate them. Online City Tickets is being totally vague about any details nor have they sent a confirmation that they exist. She paid $1,300 for three tickets. This is a total rip off and I will report this to the Assistant District Attorney's office for review.
Perfect i already printed them very excited, I have great seats and the price was perfect. Again very pleased with my experience.
Read everything carefully. If it seems too good to be true, it is!
OK, I'm 76 with bad eyesight and apparently also stupid. MY BAD, I wasn't cheated but once you press the ORDER button, it's too late.
Finding tickets was pretty good, but other cost are way to high tickets $14.95 per ticket for shipping, and $50.00 dollar each for handling.
Purchased 3 tickets one of which was BOGUS! Luckily the box office gave me a free ticket for my minor son!
Bought 4 tickets to a Saturday show for me & my family. The concert was canceled, asked for a refund, was told no as the band may re-schedule can take a few months! Found out the concert was rescheduled for a WEDNESDAY 5 months later! My kids are in college, hours from where we live. They refused to refund me. $300 GONE! What happened to "customer satisfaction is out number one goal!" This is listed in their "arbitration & dispute resolution:. What a crock of lies!
The process of buying was easy.
It would be better to have the extra fees presented before check out.
Overall I am against making money over & above the original ticket price. This is contributing to the downfall of the music industry.
I paid too much for these tickets in March and they were shipped to me in March.
I received the package and then misplaced the tickets.
I used the online chat last week without success. My request was misunderstood. I requested an email with the tickets so I could print the tickets out.
The lack of communication, the difficulty in talking to a live person caused me to miss this Maroon 5 concert. This concert was my gift for my birthday which was yesterday.
Needless to say, my experience with this company was lacking timeliness, caring, helpfulness, and lacked a suitable resolution.
I did request another copy of the tickets, I only got the UPS investigation which was a waste of time.
Oh well, shame on me for using this company. I am lighter by $624.00, but have a great story to tell friends.
Obviously, I cannot and will not recommend this company.
GLAD IT WAS EASY AND SAFE TO ORDER GOING TO CONCERT IN VEGAS SOUNDS FUN SINCE IT HAS BEEN AWHILE. THE COST WAS MORE BUT WORTH THE MONEY SINCE THEY MADE IT EASY TO GET THE TICKET RIGHT AWAY AND SAFE SITE TO ORDER FROM
Quick and easy! Can't wait as we'll be celebrating our anniversary. We've probably listened to the Alan Parsons Project for as long as he's been around.
Anthony,
Your unwavering patience and ability to make my numerous questions feel relevant allowed me purchase these tickets with confidence. In addition, your technical expertise with the stadium layout and browser functionality elevated my purchasing confidence and inspired me to write your name down; Anthony with the awesome last name 'Ferrari' for future events purchases. In an era of 'bots' running the transaction-centered show and influencing purchasing behaviors, I'm so glad I connected with a human, Anthony, a Consumer Care Champion.
From one front line Consumer Advocate to another, thank you, Anthony Ferrari.

PS I hope Anthony's mentors show him my positive feedback. He deserves the credit and I'll be sure to check back in the future by calling ;).
PPS I'm on the left in the attached photo!
Wasn't expecting the price to be so much more and didn't know until I confirmed my payment. Also had no idea that our view may be obstructed until after I purchased them. Other than that they were easy to order. Regardless I'm excited to surprise my daughter by taking her to her first concert.
Good so far! As long as she doesn't cancel. We were out money that time. Hope for the best this time.
There was a big difference from advertised ticket price to final sale price as my card was charged way more than i expected
I wasn't happy with the extra fees that come up at the end of my check out. They charged me 60.00. I'm not going with site ever again and it's crazy cost.
Worked seamlessly. No difficulties at all. Easy to see which seats are available. Downloaded on my phone and am ready to go.
I bought my tickets from them, had never tried so I gave it a chance. Worst decision ever! Bought my tickets months in advance for a specific section right in front of center stage. I get my tickets and they're not the ones I bought they're completely off to the side right next to where the cutoff to the stage is so visibility is horrible. I try and contact them through email, through their website, no response! Finally I call and they say that they can't do anything and that the "guarantee" doesn't apply to their horrible tickets because my $#*!ty tickets are considered an upgrade. Leave my damn tickets alone! I chose the spots for a reason!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
